Super excited to find that a specialized boba place finally opened in the area! I got the Taro Lover which had taro chunks in it-- a first for me but it was delicious. A little bit sweet for my taste since it was one of the drinks that they made beforehand, but it was a sacrifice easily made for the taro () I was pleasantly surprised that you could build your own drinks (selecting tea, cream, etc.). That along with the tea samples were things I found unique to Teaspoon. They make the whole experience a lot more interactive and interesting! Service was great-- felt very personal. I think the only thing I would suggest is adding a sign with all the sweetness/ice levels. (Maybe have samples with varying sweetness to help customers see what level they prefer?) I said I didn't want something super sweet. They recommended the thai tea. I got that, and it was SO SWEET I couldn't drink more than half and had to throw it out :/ most shops with tea and boba allow you to customize the sweetness, so I wish they would do the same. read more
