Ordered via DoorDash and drinks were already ready when I arrived. Very friendly and helpful staff, I will come back because of this. Clean, bright and nicely decorated store. I like that there are desserts options. Will come again!

Clean and nice ambiance for a date, and the customer service is superb. They were friendly, kind and patient when we were using the app and points to order.

    Ube Astra (Halloween special)

I went to order seasonal drinks in this location and realized it's more expensive than the South Bay locations. I got the Ube Astra back in October with 50% sweetness. The foam and boba were overwhelmingly sweet. I recently came back for Pineapple Shine with Sparkling Water (extra $1 substitute). Very refreshing at 25% sweetness, yet the pineapple was more candied. The service was alright. It's usually a one-woman crew since fewer people sit inside. More focused on takeouts. Parking spaces are tight, like a Slim Jim. You might have to shimmy a bit, like Shakira, to open your car door.

Nice little spot in Newark in the same area Bonchon and other nice food places. The place is nice and clean. Great place to hangout and they have a bathroom. Service was fast and as always the drink menu has a great selection. Decent price point for the drinks they offer. There are snacks that you could try with your drinks. There is a karaoke night on Thursday starting 6-8:30 pm. Saturday and Sunday 6-9:30 pm. Great place to chill with friends and hangout.

We went to Teaspoon in Newark recently and it was pretty good. I opted to order the Creme Brulee Coffee with crystal boba and less ice and my friend got the double matcha with no toppings. Teaspoon is located in a newish strip mall, and parking was readily available. We stopped by on a Friday afternoon, and it was fairly empty except for 1 small group that appeared to be there together and working remotely. The Creme Brulee Coffee was delicious and not overly sweet, with a good amount of boba. My friend enjoyed her double matcha drink too. I will say the smaller boba cups were just right, and I liked the number of drink options available on the menu. Customer service was prompt and very friendly. The interior of the shop is nice, with some cute decor, although seating is limited. They have a few tables and chairs good for groups of 4 or less, and 2 casual arm chairs in one corner. Overall, we were happy with our drinks and satisfied with the customer service. Teaspoon in Newark is worth visiting if you're nearby or visiting Fremont. Otherwise, I wouldn't go out of the way for this particular boba shop. Teaspoon also has multiple boba shops across the Bay Area. Definitely a solid boba spot!

First time having Teaspoon and I'm not mad!! Thank you to my bro for making the drive out here and put me on game. Staff is nice, prompt and the drinks are good. That says a lot coming from a person who many not be a boba connoisseur but i am a picky a** person. LMAO!!! Purchases made: Ladybug Strawberry Colada Smoothie Matcha Royale + Boba Drinks were not overloaded with ice, the requested adjustments were made as ordered, flavors are delicious. 5 stars, I'm a fan. I like how you are able to customize your beverages to your liking- Do you, Boo!!!

I feel like I'm missing something. I see teaspoons everywhere n they seem to have good reviews but we didn't like either of the ones we got. We must be doing something wrong. We self ordered and got our drinks within a few minutes so they're efficient n it looked clean. Parking in The plaza was easy. Some tables n games to sit around if you're feeling it. Not much to complain about other than the mediocre drinks. Might try it again if I know someone that can recommend something good.

Every time we come here, the service is great. They always ask if I need a bag when they see it might be too much to carry. They also acknowledge you when you come in. If they're busy, someone at least says hi to you instead of ignoring you. The parking lot has plenty spots. The place is pretty well cleaned every time we go. There are a few tables if you want to just hang out for a little. I've even seen some people go and do some work there. We are obsessed with the Grasshopper. So far, we've tried other flavors too and so far we haven't found one we didn't like. This is our new go-to for boba in the area. So happy they're here.

Teaspoon has recently open its new location at Newark. It's quite surprising that they seemingly don't get a lot of customers. It could be because I got here during the afternoon during the weekday. This location will catch up. They have mini arcades you can play. They also classics as well as their own signature drinks. It's quiet here and it's only one person working here, but the service is quick. They also serve desserts too, which are displayed close to the menu, but they seem to be kinda pricey. I'm glad that it's close to Breeze Cafe and Lac Coffee since I also like going to those places too. Looking forward to trying more!

Teaspoon opened recently in Gong cha's space. Obviously redecorated with a soft, whimsical sign & mural. Just 8ish tables inside for seating. Hip hop music in background. T is an American boba shop making unique boba and tea creations. No "me too" menu. Toppings are on the front counter. They use bobas created in California. Drinks made in plain sight, not behind curtains or a door. Offerings: Signature (boba) drinks, hot teas with unique profiles. Ordered at counter, pd, drink ready in minutes. No other patrons present. Sips: Liquid Gold (6.50) 24 oz. 25%sugar, reg. Ice -sweetness/ice just right. Honey slightly subtle. -none of the ice, honey, tea, cream or sugar overpowered each other. Subtle Tea felt but not tastable. Better than bland versions at other boba shops. 4ish stars Note: very active parking lot. Watch for cars when backing out to space or when walking...

Awesome place to hang out best boba very friendly staff clean seating area lots of games to play

Tried Teaspoon for the first time and went with their Caramel Cream Boba and a slice of coffee cake. Both turned out to be excellent choices. The coffee cake was soft, flavorful, and disappeared almost instantly -- I only managed one bite before my son finished the rest. The caramel cream boba was very sweet at first and felt a bit heavy after a while, but adding a splash of whole milk at home balanced the flavors perfectly, turning it into a rich and creamy drink. Overall, Teaspoon delivered a great sweet treat experience, and I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying boba drink and a delicious dessert.

Been to this plaza a few times but didn't realize they had Teaspoon here! The closest one to me is up north in Hayward or trek down to Warm Springs - so glad there's a Teaspoon in Newark too. We came by on a weekend and got our drinks ordered right away. There drinks were made quickly by the one staff behind the counter. Caffeine free options: Silky mango (milk with mango puree and honey boba) was delicious. The Strawberry Colada (pineapple coconut smoothie with strawberry jam) is refreshing. I got a coconut coffee which is perfect sweet for me! This place is spacious and clean, with AC - perfect hangout for a summer day.

Came by here as part of my goal of trying every Vietnamese coffee in the bay. Looking through…read morereviews, Tram Cream seems to be quite polarizing--my experience here was probably about as average as it could get. Ordering was via a kiosk and I was pleasantly surprised when my drink. And out within 2 minutes of ordering. The drink was served in a boba cup (heat sealed) which made it both easier and somehow harder to mix (harder to stir the bottom without disrupting the lid and making a mess). There was a solid chunk of what I think was egg pudding on top, but once the egg foam mixed in with the coffee, the flavors balanced each other out well. I may not go out of my way to get tram coffee, but I will likely come back given it's convenient location and otherwise decent cup of Vietnamese coffee

While it is great to have a Vietnamese coffee shop in the area, this place really needs to work on the consistency of the drinks they are making. I've been here twice, both times happen to be when they were having a bogo promotion for the Creamy Ha Noi Coffee drinks. The first time was great, the drinks were tasty and the coffees were strong. However, I went again today for the second time, and this visit was a disappointment! Unlike the first time, this time they did not fill the drinks all the way, and this time they used different cups and sealed the drinks. You can see in the pictures, the drinks are not filled to the top, like they were the first time. Keep in mind, I ordered the same drinks as last time, didn't change anything. This time, I also ordered a large Thai Milk Tea, and as you can see from the picture, the whole top portion of the drink is full of ice! Having drank the drink throughout the day, all the ice really dilutes the drink, and the flavor goes away. I did scoop some of the ice out in the beginning, but it's still just too much ice!! They need to stop putting all this ice in their drinks, we shouldn't be paying for a cup of ice!! The customer service the first time was great, the person that helped me was friendly and approachable to questions and concerns, today's recent visit, I didn't get that same vibe from the person who assisted me. Sadly, until they get the consistency right, unsure if I will be back. You can clearly see, first visit pics drinks are full, second visits pics, they aren't.

It was a nice combo with the Iced Biscoff Latte. Iced Double Matcha: 1/5 Really bad! I had high hopes for the matcha, seeing as how popular and how good their other items were. I'm a big matcha fan, and their matcha didn't taste right at all. It tasted super watered down, and lacked genuinely any flavor. Super disappointing! Chicken Shawarma: 4/5 Pretty yum! It definitely filled my up. Had a good amount of chicken, and came to me warm. Would get again, but isn't super exciting or different. Would love if there were a sauce that came with it. It is super packed! Lots of people coming and going, so the noise level is pretty high all the time. Good amount of seating options, but it was full basically the entire time I was there (4+ hours). Lots of drink and food options (sweet and savory). Good service -- they bring your order to your table. Wish there were more outlets available, and the floors were pretty dirty. I didn't see them clean or quickly wipe down any of the tables during the entire time I was there. I moved tables twice and had to wipe the table down as it was wet from drinks and crumbs.

The pistachio flavor tastes rich and legit without being overly sweet or covering up the coffee. A lot of pistachio drinks at other spots taste like artificial syrup, but this one is smooth, balanced, and actually complements the espresso. I also love seeing that deep green color in the clear cups--it just looks so aesthetic and makes the drink feel even more authentic. Honestly, 9 out of 10 times, this is what I'm ordering. If it's your first time here, PLEASE get it. Thankfully my husband is always down to be adventurous and order something different so we can still guarantee at least one pistachio latte on the table lol. His go-to is the Qamaria Latte with oatmilk, sometimes with cold foam. It sounds simple--espresso, steamed milk, cardamom, and cinnamon--but it tastes like comfort in a cup. The cardamom and cinnamon make it feel warm, cozy, and layered without punching you in the face with sugar. Nothing tastes artificial here. Everything feels intentional and made with care. Also, whether you dine in or take it to-go, the drinks always look cute. I LOVE the dine-in presentation though. The iced drinks come in clear glass cups so you can see all the layers, and the hot drinks come in these thick ceramic mugs that make the experience feel extra cozy. And I'm such a sucker for their tray setup too--everything matches the aesthetic so well and makes coffee dates here feel extra special. And don't even get me started on the milk cakes because they are dangerously good. My fave is the Biscoff milk cake. It's super soft, creamy, rich, and has the perfect caramelized cookie flavor without being too sweet. It paired sooo well with the warm spices in the coffee. _______________________________________________________ --- S E R V I C E --- Each barista I ever had was kind and super chill. I never felt rushed and they took their time answering questions. It sounds pretty simple but I feel like even with how busy it can get, they pace themselves accordingly behind the counter so that they are intentional and patient with their customers, and work in a consistent pace that gets drinks done in time and hands them off with care. Very contrast to a cafe where baristas are working so fast-paced that their interactions are short and it feels like that they just want to get the drink over with and passed off to the customer. It all goes back to Qamaria's baristas being intentional with the way that they work. Keep doin' your thing y'all. Love the flow. _______________________________________________________ --- A M B I A N C E -- It's funny because the first time my husband and I pulled up was after dinner on a Friday night. He was feenin' for coffee and was like, "What's even open this late?" Yoooo, finding out Qamaria Yemeni Coffee was open until 1 AM on Fridays and Saturdays instantly made us happy because now we got a late-night spot whenever the cravings hit. Most nights they're open until midnight too, which is dangerous lol. And let me tell you... this place gets CRACKIN'. We came around 10:30 PM and the line was out the door, but I'm so glad we stayed because the drinks changed our life. Even on a random weekday when I met up with a homegirl, we looked up from yappin' for hours and suddenly the line was wrapped outside again. Trust--it's worth the wait. The inside is warm, modern, and culturally rich without feeling forced or overly trendy. The arches, lighting, patterned seating, earthy tones, and artwork make the whole space feel cozy and intentional. Even when it's packed, it still feels welcoming and communal--honestly just proof this is THE spot to be no matter the time of day. People are studying, catching up with friends and fam, working, or just vibing over coffee, and it somehow all works together perfectly. It's the type of café that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile instead of grabbing your drink and leaving.

The workers (I didn't catch their names but it was a young woman and man) were so incredibly sweet with customizations and explaining different drinks since they have an extensive menu. Final Thoughts: 2.00/5.00…read more After dinner, my friend and I went to get boba at the shop a few doors down. Perhaps we should have chosen somewhere else. My friend said that his coworkers will go here sometimes and they seem to like it. To each their own. I have personally had better, but I'll try anything once. Overall, will be a 2 star for me today. Drinks: Matcha Latte: 1.5/5 Very interesting how this place has fairly high marks and reviews. Maybe because their other drinks are better? I chose this drink today because I've very much gotten into matcha. This drink was not for me though. First look gave me that sense too. Lovely layering, but it was when it was mixed did I really see it. My one note is the amount of milk that is added to this drink. When it comes to matcha drinks, I find that less is more with the base. This drink just had so much milk and ice at the bottom and it completely dilutes the matcha. Had this matcha been in a little less milk, it may have been better. This also dulls out the color of it and makes the drink itself unappealing when it's mixed. This drink is super grainy at the bottom and I tried to mix it more, but that really didn't help. Sweetness was alright. Again, flavor of it was just the milk, so I can't say too much of the matcha since it drowned out. Grapefruit Green Tea with Crushed Ice: 3.0/5 This was my friend's drink and I tried it for my review purposes. This was the better option of the two. The grapefruit and tea drink itself was very refreshing. Sweetness was good. Something about the crushed ice made it better. I honestly don't think this drink would be the same with the regular cubed large ice. The crushed ice was also mixed in with the grapefruit pulp at the top too. I like that addition of the grapefruit because of it's natural flavor and that texture from it. Grapefruit can be slightly bitter, but I actually like it that subtle bitterness with the sweetness and tartness in it. The green tea is a good option to have with think drink because it's very light and doesn't overpower the remainder of the drink. Sweetness was good for me. Definitely more of a passing drink than the drink option that I chose today. Menu: Good enough variety Again, looks to be your standard boba shop menu. There are a fair amount of items on their menu for you to choose from though. Perhaps their fruit teas would have been the better option for me here. I thought my friend's drink was really refreshing and appropriate for the weather at the time. --------- Quality: So-so The matcha really doesn't look like my ceremonial grade matcha powder. Slightly oxidized and dulled out green color. This might be because it looked completely diluted, but maybe not. What gets me was how grainy it was too. Now, looking at my friend's drink, I liked the grapefruit pulp and the use of the natural fruit inside the drink. So, will depend on what you get and your preferences. Price: Average Truly your average Bay Area prices for these drinks and what they are. The price will range from $5 to $8, so really within that standard boba drink price here. Service: Friendly They greeted us when we walked into the shop and they were also really quick to make the drink. I noticed the person making the drink come to the front too to see what we would order and he started making it right after we paid for the drinks. Loving the quick service. There wasn't many groups ahead of us, so he was able to do this. I'm sure they try their best to keep up and make it quickly to order though, which I appreciate. Ambiance: Standard boba shop The interior is giving your very standard boba shop and smell. There are a few tables on the side and the counter on the other side. I think this would be a nice studying stop or charting spot because it seems very peaceful. Location/Parking: Long Plaza; Optimal Parking Spaces This area is on Cedar Blvd. The plaza itself is quite long and made up of sections of buildings. All of it seems to be connected though, so there are parking spaces. Doesn't seem like it was super super saturated of an area during the time, so my friend and I were able to park close by. I really don't see parking being too much of an issue though.
