Never realized this location was in one of the many plazas on Almaden - I'm not on this side of SJ often so this was a surprise. My partner and I went in at around 6pm on a weekday, not busy at all. The store was clean with cute interior. Staff greeted us and we appreciated that they weren't sitting on their phones unlike the other locations we've been to. We ordered through the kiosk. We went in wanting to order a milk tea. He ordered a hojicha milk tea at 50% sweet and I changed my mind to a silky mango with oat milk. We used to work at teaspoon so the flavors were pretty much the same (silky mango is my fav non-tea drink). As for the hojicha, the flavor was so-so. It tasted more like a mix of high mountain and hojicha. The sweetness level at 50% was a bit bland, but maybe our palate is still used to the way our old store calibrated the sugar machine lol. If it had tasted more like hojicha we felt like it would've been perfect. Other than that we will def come back to try our usual milk tea orders! read more

One of the better Teaspoon locations! I've tried both the Campbell and Saratoga, but was not impressed. The Campbell location had very slow service and the drink was watered down and the Saratoga location made my drink way too sweet. I ordered the Caramel Cream which is described as a "hand roasted caramel infused boba with organic milk". I switched the organic milk for Califia oat milk and lite ice. I believe you cannot adjust the sweetness for the drink. If you like milk drinks without tea, then this would be a good choice to get! I only got this drink since it was somewhat late in the day and I wanted to sleep. The honey boba was really soft and chewy with a hint of honey flavor. I'll be back to try their milk tea and hope they stay consistent with their drinks. :) Hope Teaspoon is here to stay since it is one of the better boba places in the Almaden area! read more

I wasn't a huge fan of Teaspoon till this location opened up in my neighborhood Almaden. Location is great- tons of parking, easy to access off the main expressway. I've had really great customer service experiences here and when I order off the app there's almost no delay. One time I even ordered it and scheduled it, realized I would be there asap so I gave them a call and they made it immediately. In terms of the drinks, they're pretty consistent. A little bit on the sweeter side so you should get light sugar if you're not a huge fan of super sweet drinks. Their boba here is the best- I think they're one of the first places who really promoter honey boba which is now a staple at so many boba shops. Boba is consistently chewy, flavorful, so yummy!! YAY! South San Jose finally has a Teaspoon! The service here was so great and the location is wonderful. I stopped by last week shortly after their grand opening and ordered two drinks for myself and my husband: the sweet marshmallow and silky mango (basically milk tea sweetened with mango puree). I got my sweet marshmallow slightly less sweet so there was less of a marshmallow flavor, and the server generously gave me a bit of their almond pudding since I was deciding between that or the boba. Almond jelly/pudding is one of my favorite toppings and I can't find it at most boba places so this is definitely a plus. The almond pudding was really fragrant and yummy and I would definitely get it again! The mango puree sweetness can't really be adjusted, and I did find it a bit too sweet. And you already know those Asian aunties are very particular with drinks being too sweet. We requested for the guava, ladybug, silky mango, house milk tea, and the thai tea for our wedding. The prices were also quite reasonable for catering services and was well worth the reaction and the enjoyment that our guests had. Many thanks to the manager of this location Eva. She was very responsive in her emails and made this process seamless, especially when wedding planning was already super stressful! However, there was something about it that tasted weird. Im not sure if it was the boba or the milk but I have had the Violet Latte before and I always loved it. I talked to the workers if my friend and I can get a different drink because it was not good at all. We also did not want to waste our money. They allowed us to sub it for the Silky Strawberry that my other friend also had which was a lot better. Kind of far from us since we stay in the Peninsula area but every time we drive out to get Boiling Crab we have to make a pit stop at teaspoon before or after. This one is located in a pretty big shopping plaza so there's plenty of parking. I have a bigger car and honestly found the spots to be a tinyyyy bit small.
