    Lobster and Crab Omelette
    Lexi S.

I ordered the lobster and crab omelet and found it under seasoned and devoid of much lobster or crab. As a whole, I feel like the side pairing of challah toast with jam and butter is an odd choice. I also ordered the iced Thai tea, which was quite weak. Overall--I wasn't really feeling it. When you go to Teaspoon, you're really paying for ambience over quality. There's no issue with the service here, from hosts to wait staff. The food is simply underwhelming, and thus so is the experience. I wouldn't be mad to return, but I don't know if this would ever be my suggestion.

My girlfriend and I were in Oro Valley so we decided to try this place for brunch. It was quite busy, but we were able to get in around 1 PM. We ordered waffles and also the chillequiles which were tasty. The ambience was casual and chill. Overall we received good services and there were other items on the menu that I wouldn't mind coming back to try.

I prefer this location better than the east side, love the patio space. Service was fast, food was great and their chai latte was delicious. We ordered the savory crepe and vanilla French toast. Definitely will be back!

I FINALLY tried this place. I don't really like to wait to eat and I had Monday off so I figured the way it wouldn't be that long. I ordered their eggs Benedict with filet mignon and boy it was delicious!! No wonder this place is so popular. It had a great ambience. Nice outdoor seating. Great service. This definitely will not be my last visit

Had the perfect brunch experience here with our group of four. We had about an hour's wait time, so make reservations or join their live waitlist, if possible. We sat inside/outside, right smack in the middle. It was the perfect day for it. I enjoyed a bloody mary and it was tasty! Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We ordered chips & salsa and they were great! Chips tasted homemade and perfectly crunchy & lightly salted! They were served with salsa and pico de gallo. The salsa is top notch! Spicy & flavorful! I had their chilaquiles de pollo and they were very flavorful and spicy without being too hot! Will definitely be coming back!

Definitely not a place for vegans ! C'mon , can't you add at least 1 vegan meal ? I modified my avocado toast and it STILL had butter & the bread was meh . Ugh My chai latte with oat milk was good but way too sweet for me , it did have a master yummy foam top . My friend said her meal was good but lacked spice . Kinda bland . Service was good but nothing to rave about . Beautiful location & we were seated promptly.

It was a Thursday afternoon, and the restaurant was packed. We were a party of six on the waitlist, but we only waited about five minutes for our table. Since it was a work lunch, we were pleased to sit at a large corner table. However, the noise level inside was quite loud. The menu offered a variety of great choices, ensuring there was something for everyone, which I especially appreciated as a vegetarian. Our waiter, Tito, was fantastic! He was friendly, attentive, and had a wonderful laugh. The food was excellent, and I don't think there were any complaints from anyone in our group. We would all definitely return for brunch again!

Beautiful restaurant with amazing atmosphere. Our smoothie was not quite blended all the way, but our skillets were AMAZING!! Absolutely recommend the southwest skillet. Great people and awesome food! Give it a try!

Love the bubble waffle! Added ourselves to the waitlist on the way and when we arrived we had about a 20 min wait. Staff was pleasant and the bubble waffle was delicious! We also had the French toast and the loaded potato skillet. Indoor and outdoor seating available. We usually just ask for first available which also includes bar seating

While planning a day trip from Mesa to Tucson, I came across Teaspoon on a "Best Brunch in Tucson" list by Max Wingert via TucsonFoodie.com--and it definitely lived up to the hype. This place is clearly popular. When we arrived, there were quite a few parties waiting, but the overall wait time was only about 10-12 minutes, and we were seated promptly. The service was just as good as the food--our server was kind, helpful, and offered solid recommendations when we asked. As a proud chilaquiles enthusiast, I couldn't resist ordering the Chilaquiles con Pollo: crispy corn tortillas topped with shredded chicken, red sauce, Monterey Jack, crema, avocado, red onion, cilantro, and two sunny-side-up eggs. It was savory, spicy, and absolutely delicious--everything I look for in a good plate of chilaquiles. My boyfriend went with the Dutch Baby, a cast-iron German pancake served with apple, lemon, and local honey. It was beautifully done and full of flavor--though we had to wait a few minutes for it to cool down (cast iron stays hot!) Teaspoon is a cute little gem tucked into the Casa Adobes Plaza with cozy charm, great service, and a menu that's well worth the drive. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Tucson to explore more of what they have to offer!

Teaspoon is a breakfast n lunch bistro in town... I had a Benedict Eggs and Filets with veggies, avocado and potatoes plus ice tea!!! Very classic breakfast and it's busy place to have brunch... Everything came out smooth, fresh eggs and cooked right on and tasty delicious!!! Will recommend when you try to have a stable classic brunch bistro restaurant!!

Today we decided to give Teaspoon another try. Even on a Monday, we waited about 30 minutes to be seated -- definitely a sign it's a popular spot. This time, the food was delicious. I ordered the filet mignon eggs Benedict. It was very tasty, although the poached egg was slightly overcooked. My husband got the skillet and absolutely loved it. The real star of the show was the Dutch baby -- oh my gosh! That alone is worth coming back for. The service was great, and we sat on the patio, which was lovely. Overall, I'd give this place 4 stars. We'll definitely be back for the Dutch baby and to try a few different dishes next time.

    Is this restaurant dog friendly?

Hello! Yes, you can bring your dog! Fun fact: Not all restaurant patios have a permit. Our patio has a dog-friendly permit regulated by the Health Department.

Is this the sort of place where one can bring a laptop and work or just an "eat and leave " kind of place?

It's generally pretty busy, and limited seating. Perhaps on a weekday, but not a weekend.

He was incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive. I noticed how kind and courteous he was, not only to us but to the other tables around us as well. It's a local staple full of fresh breads, yummy pastries and stacked sandwiches. For me, it felt like Panera but 10x better. I went with Fridas Flight and my husband had Curt's Club. The thing that stood out the most to me was the bread. So fresh and light, you can tell it was made in house. We also got a sticky bun, on a recommendation from the very friendly staff, and this was SO GOOD. Highly recommend heating it up a little bit. Pretty good. Pretty good. Of the four of us who gathered to dine here last Friday, (late summer of…read more2026), three in our party raved about their meals, and had nothing but high-praise for the experience. We three, actually loved everything about AMELIAS. Us three (*let's just call them "the cool ones"), were wowed by the taste of our food and noted that the plate presentations were kinda cool-- and a little "more-fancy" than what is typically placed down upon the table at your typical Mexican food restaurants. AMELIAS adds a bit of "pizazz" and "decorum" to their menu items--like edible flowers that float in your margarita, or wavy lines of crema that dance on the seas of flavorful sauces that accompany the tamales, 'chiladas, and relleno plates served here. Three-forths of us also noted how attentive and friendly those who served us were. And... we (the cool ones) also all noticed how the warm, cheerful, and welcoming ambiance and decor of the place added to the enjoyment of our meal. (*Play Debbie-downer walk-up music) One in our group...(dramatic pause)... was notably quiet and reserved when it was her turn to rave about her dish. This person, smiled and shared that she thought her food was, "pretty good." But, now that I think about it...her praise was kinda limited, and she, indeed, was a bit reticent. I would find out later, as we lay in bed that night, that one in our group had not enjoyed her meal as much the other three had. Apparently, the cheese and chicken enchiladas dish that was ordered was not to this person's liking, and she added that she thought the service was "just okay". Not wanting to bring-down the mood of the evening, this person played along and didn't criticize. Now, I am not trained in psychology, but if feels like...(how do I put this delicately?)... okay. (*the writer thinks for a bit). Sometimes... when one in our party does not get to pick the restaurant that we are going to try, it seems to me... that...(dramatic pause as I try to find just the right words to say this).. I seems to me... that...This person is just, "not going to enjoy" the place that was picked, no matter how good it is. There! I said it. And while I'm on the subject... your mom is just like this too. And now you know the rest of my story. Let's summarize: AMELIAS is a very good restaurant and you will enjoy the heck out of your meal. Unless, of course, you insist on being the one who picks where your group goes out to eat-- and you don't get your way. Then, you will find it to be, "pretty good", but complain about it later in bed. (I know this is supposed to be a restaurant review, and not a mini-soap opera. But I hope you enjoyed our little dive into the phycology of relationships.) Until next time, this is the guy who will be sleeping on the couch for a night or two if my beloved happens to read this. (lol--she will find humor in this...and, of course, disagree with my "junior-phycologist" interpretation of why she thought Amelias was just okay. )

The food was creative while maintaining that fabulous fresh, handmade Mexican flavor profile. Absolutely delicious! Pricing landed somewhere in the $$ amount per person including beverage and appetizer. Very fair for the level of hand-crafting going into every dish. We didn't have a reservation (highly recommend getting one for busy times) and were happy to sit where they could fit us. Our server Louie was EXCELLENT. He walked us through the entire menu in 3 minutes and we felt confident ordering. He also suggested an amazing appetizer featuring chilies stuffed with cheese and shrimp and wrapped in bacon . I ordered the Fajitas Mixtas for my main as I wanted to try several meats. Hubby ordered the shrimp enchiladas with both green and red sauce. Both were beautiful and delicious. I also tried the mocktail that had prickly pear puree. It was delicious and refreshing. The menu had options available for folks seeking Gluten Free, too. Amelia's was decked out with modern, slightly edgy decor that was welcoming and exciting. Seating for wheelchair users could easily be accommodated by dining table chair removal. The Oracle Street location isn't huge, but the staff does a fantastic job getting folks in and you won't feel cramped. I could definitely see the place needing to expand due to popularity someday soon. Go and you won't regret it. This has made the list for returning to the next time we're in town!
