A neighbor told me teaspoon her favorite one time ( while at Snooze) but my first time there at Teaspoon and wasn't disappointed. Seems they sat all parties with children outside ? On the far north of patio by the fountain but no misters at our area like closer to the building . We shuffled our chairs to find shade . That said , the food was all great filet mignon Benedict's , omelet , seafood Benedict , Dutch savory pancake , and Buddha bowl for young Grandaughter . Anthony's service was on point thank you ! I was very disappointed with food i have ordered Eggs Benedict and when it came to my table and i started to eat I realized that food was cold I ate one but, I was not able to eat the other. I wanted to try a new breakfast spot. I'm new to Tucson so I'm still exploring the area. Finding it via sign is a little tricky. I would recommend parking and walking. It's on the bottom of barefoot yoga. There's an indoor and outdoor patio area. I waited for about 10 minutes so they were able to accommodate me quickly even though it was a little pack. I have heard about the bubble waffles but I didn't get it this time. I got the lobster and crab omelette with 2 mini pancakes. I went twice over the last week and Tyler was my server the first time and Benni was my server the second time. Both these gentleman were amazing, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu. I went to have drinks and Benni gave great recommendations on the cocktail menu. Tyler was great with espresso upsells - the red eye was great! Add avocado to the crab cake bene - Tyler insisted and he was right! It's an nice restaurant with a lot of light and the option to sit in or outside and at the bar. This restaurant has a nice atmosphere, although the acoustics are not ideal. The wait for a table was reasonable and the service was very good. The brunch menu provides a variety of choices. I ordered the roast chicken plate. This was a mistake. I expected a juicy roasted chicken breast but received flat pieces of chicken with fake charred marks that looked like they were reheated from frozen. The mushy mashed potatoes appeared to be from a box. Thankfully the seasonal vegetables were excellent. Came for weekday brunch and there wasn't much of a wait. I ordered the bubble waffle! The portion size is generous and so fluffy. Went to Teaspoon for some brunch with friends and was not disappointed! For drinks, i ordered the Vietnamese coffee and a prickly pear mimosa. I kind of wished the coffee was iced because it was starting to get really hot, but it still tasted good. Prickly Pear mimosa was also delicious. For my main, i ordered the avocado toast that came with 2 poached eggs and a side salad. This was good, it's avocado toast haha. The best part of brunch were these parmesan fries. There is indoor and outdoor seating here, and with the doggies by our side after a dog park date, my party of four waited about half an hour on a Sunday for patio seating. Staff was attentive despite being super busy for brunch on a Sunday. Let's talk about the food. I am a sucker for savory, so I opted for a Crab Benedict that was served with a spring mix and some potatoes. It did not disappoint in even the slightest way. You can really tell when a brunch place has their shi--Benedicts together when they perfectly poach the eggs in the dish. The flavors with the crab and delicious hollandaise sauce left me devouring my food and completely satisfied. My SO had the Bubble Waffle that was served with a tasty cream, and his waffle came out crispy as they should! He thoroughly enjoyed it and said he would absolutely come back to Teaspoon, which is saying a lot because he has never been a huge brunch person! Our friends shared the Dutch Baby which tasted flan like and had a unique flavor. It was sweet and I enjoyed it, but I like my savory over sweet dishes. Great specialty coffees! Just keep in mind what you want &I love the specialty coffees you can get sugar free or have the shots cut down etc. Order your food the way you prefer. I don't care for spicey foods or the hot red pepper. Their meatball soup is excellent! The Staff is top notch, plus you can sit outside or inside This is the one that is on Oracle Road. I was so excited to try Teaspoon, but ended up disappointed. Loved the idea of the Casas Adobes location and large patio, their signage made me want to check it out after walking by in the evening a few weeks ago. Reviewed their menu online and the meals sounded great, I was torn between the Country Chicken, Herb French Toast, and Challah Vanilla Bean French Toast. I opted for the Country Chicken because it came with fried chicken, biscuits and sausage gravy, plus potatoes. This dish had potential to be good, but the gravy had no flavor other than cream. It tasted like a roux with no spice or sausage to be found, since it covered most of the dish it really was lackluster. Their potatoes were tasty, I would get those again. We also ordered the veggie omelette which felt as though it was lacking in flavor as well. Maybe their sweet options are better than savory. To top it off, we went shortly after they opened and there was already a wait. This was confusing because many tables were empty and they appeared to be adequately staffed. The person who helped us was kind, but it took them a long time to get set up. After we ordered, our food took quite a while despite it not being too busy. I met a friend for lunch here, we sat on the patio and even tho it was 102 the shade and misters were helpful in helping us forget that. The service was great he was super attentive. The espresso machine was down that day and I really wanted an iced vanilla latte and server did his best to accommodate bringing me an iced coffee with vanilla syrup and almond milk on the side... it ended up working out great. I ordered the savory French toast with the gravy on the side. Honestly I didn't think it needed it so I added cholula instead and this dish did not disappoint. It's the hip, wine mom brunch spot for people who want gigantic food, just a little bit of booze, and a relatively quiet Sunday morning meal. So glad my friend made reservations days in advance. When I arrived the hostesses had a table outdoors, staring down at a list while frustrated would-be patrons scoffed and scowled at 60-90 minute wait times. I felt like I was entering an exclusive club, which is ironic given this is anything but a clubby brunch. You'll find bottomless mimosas on the menu, but they're probably not worth it given the 90-minute time limit. Nevertheless, they've got a respectable drink list altogether, and I went with a glass of house red wine. More people should try drinking a bold, dry red before noon. The food is a really safe, but solid menu featuring gravy on every other item. I went with a simple breakfast bowl, making sure to request it "burrito style" (as if the chefs thought a straightforward burrito item in AZ would be gauche). And you know what? It was actually quite scrumptious, and I must note they sure do have some great bacon. I also tried a bit of the southwestern skillet and it was nice as well---perfectly crisped potatoes, black beans, and roasted corn were so good, it didn't even need the proteins (which were of course divine in their own right) Overall, this is a great spot for friends, family, and people who really really don't want loud music with brunch. In the nice weather, a wall of doors was open to the neighboring patio for an indoor/outdoor feel which is perfect for fall in Tucson. The food came quickly and was absolutely delicious. I was excited for chilequiles, and these did not disappoint. The trick with this dish is that I prefer it to be a little crispy but not too much. Most of the time, I find restaurants make it too soggy by soaking all the tortilla chips for too long. Or they just drizzle sauce on the chips, and the flavors and textures don't marry.
