Hot chai tea, breakfast sandwich (? egg and tomato), hash browns
Mandi G.

I need to stop in at Ghinis more often! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Delicious food, nice patio (also nice indoor seating), relaxed ambiance, and friendly service earned if a 5 star rating from me![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The egg/tomato baguette was delish. I added hash browns, which were crisp and yummy. Although the food was great, the spicy hot chai tea made it a complete experience! (Waaaaay better than something in a paper cup from a drive-thru coffee chain!) Yum! Yum! Yum!

We went here for brunch and it did not disappoint. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was very chill, there were seating inside and outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They allow dogs here which is a nice gesture.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was quick and the food was great. We definitely return to try other items.

Croque Madame with French Onion Soup
Parker G.

Love, love, LOVE this cute & underrated little gem of a cafe in Tucson! Ghini's has a great menu for brunch or lunch with options for both more traditional American breakfast food and some delicious French staples. There's plenty of tables for seating indoors - I do wish there was an outdoor patio space, which would be lovely to relax and dine on..but I understand they have to work with what they've got in their strip mall location. The most recent time I came here, I got myself the Croque Madame for brunch and subbed the options for the side with a French Onion Soup for an extra $8. The French Onion Soup was a great size and tasted very rich and delicious - just the way you'd want it to be! I also enjoyed the Croque Madame - especially with a bit of hot sauce (available on each table) splashed onto it for some extra heat! For drinks, I highly recommend the French Mimosa! It's made with Lemon, Chambord, & Champagne. It has a great sweetness that is notable yet not overpowering, and also a bit stronger than your typical Mimosa with the alcohol!! One more thing - this spot is great for vegetarians & vegans. There are plenty of options on the menu, and they are also very accommodating when it comes to preparing vegan alternatives for just about everything on the menu. Most of my family is vegan, so it's one of the reasons the particularly love this cafe so much (in addition to the delicious French food)! Everyone that works here is very friendly and I always love coming here for delicious, high-quality food. Looking for a brunch or lunch spot in Tucson? For both people with regular diets and people with a plant-based/vegan diet, I highly recommend coming to Ghini's French Caffe!

French onion Soupe a L'oignon- Delicious!

Ya know what? I initially didn't review Ghini's the first time I went for breakfast, bc I just couldn't really remember details. However over the next few mo I would stop in pretty regularly to the bakery side and buy a baguette or un Pain du chocolate. Love all their Croissants btw. So after having spent 7 weeks in Paris last Spring I decided to go for some French onion soup for lunch. It was so good. My server was on point. I thought it was legit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the way it resembles a lil French cafe. Inside the cozy tables and decor is charming[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]],. I will continue to come back, there were a lot of things I wanted to try,

So pretty, so delicious.

What can I say? French onion soup could be one of my main food groups. I think only 1 other place in town even has it but GHINIS is my go to! Soooo good. So gooey. Somehow their water even tastes incredible. Idk what it is?! They offer up delicious brunch and lunch options, a bakery and some small gift shop items. If you're lucky Kia will be your waitress. She is wonderful. Tip: call ahead when you're 15 away and they'll add you to the waitlist and there's usually a waitlist. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have patio dining and welcome dogs!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Apple turnover was delicious!

Stopped in for a recommendation on which bread would be best for French toast. Bought the recommended brioche, made the French toast- it was perfect, thank you. BTW, the artisan baguette and apple turnover I bought too were delicious!

Went there for breakfast and was not disappointed i had the french onion croquet madame (i think thats the correct spelling) but it was out of this world. My wife had mushroom and brie croquet and she really enjoyed that also.

Huge vegan menu!!

I'm so impressed with Ghini's extensive vegan menu! I want to try everything on it. Too bad I live in Phoenix.:( I thought I'd try their signature dish, the Eggs Provençal made vegan with Just Eggs. Super tasty! I love the way the eggs were seasoned. I also had the Hipsterville Hazy IPA beer by Barrio Brewing and it was excellent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fast, friendly service and super cute, quaint French ambiance![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This was our first time eating here when they were celebrating Bastille Day. After visiting France, I really enjoy French food and wish there were more French establishments. The female manager is a force of nature. I would hire her in a second. The young lady filling water was also efficient. The rest of the staff seemed disorganized. We ordered the chicken Florentine croque, the grilled avocado toast, and the red, white, and blue crepes. I thought everything tasted fresh and flavorful. While the grilled avocado toast has a memorable presentation, I think the name is a bit of a misnomer as the avocado did not appear to be grilled, and the bread, although certainly enjoyable, was not toasted. I look forward to coming back and giving their bakery a try as their cakes are aesthetically pleasing. I recommend eating here, especially if you have extra time to enjoy a meal.

Brunch Menu

Arrived for Sunday Brunch and no surprise it was extra busy, but we got a table for 3 on the patio within 10 minutes. Wait staff are friendly, attentive, and offer great suggestions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tables are somewhat small, but we ordered in waves so it never was an issue and servers accomodated us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We went for it and started with a Classic Bloody Mary, Caramel Apple Mimosa, and a "Staff Favorite" Orange Cream Recovery Elixer. All are delicious, however we expected the Elixir to have more sweetness. Not a deal breaker, though. All our food was excellent. Not a bad bite. So many choices on the menu, we are already planning our next visit to try more of what we passed up.

Spinach crepes with hash brown potatoes
Betty S.

Had a lovely breakfast of spinach crepes with hash brown potatoes. The wait staff were friendly and attentive without hovering. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And the restaurant itself is inviting and bright.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is also a charming large patio that is a delightful place to eat when it's not too hot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This is such a lovely cafe. My husband and I had breakfast here recently. The staff was welcoming and attentive and the food is good! It was served hot and homemade. What else can you ask for? We will return. I recommend Ghinis French Caffe to anyone looking for an out of the ordinary, hearty breakfast or brunch. They also offer gluten free.

Jessica D.

Authentic French breakfast with friendly service. The downside is the size of the plates compared to the price. I really liked how my tomatoes were cooked. The bread was excellent.

Signature Provençal dish. Hot honey French toast, bacon, and pork sausage.

I love that the entire dinner menu is 20% off for happy hour 4pm-6pm. The regular price seemed high to me for the serving size but I could definitely tell that they put effort and creativity into the dish. The menu changes seasonally and the food tasted very fresh and interesting. I hope to see them add some plant-based items to their breakfast and lunch menus the next time the menu shifts with the season. Vegan, vegetarian and GF items are clearly marked. The main problem has been an overly noisy main dining room that makes it difficult to hear conversations at the table. There is always a long list of specials that are read by the server. Never mentioning the price. Last night I ordered a shrimp appetizer that came with 3 grilled shrimp, and an order of halibut. The bill for the 3 shrimp came to $26, and the halibut was $58. Additionally there was a surprise extra charge of 4% added to the total bill that I could not understand even after the server tried to explain it. The food was ok, not anything special and they have markedly reduced the vegetables and salad that usually accompany the entree. Going forward I would suggest that prices be included in the description of the specials and extra charges be posted up front. At this point the prices have become too high for the value of the experience.

From the moment we arrived until the day we reluctantly left, we never felt like guests. We felt genuinely welcomed. Every interaction reminded us that hospitality isn't just something your staff does. It's who they are. Our dinner at the Grill with Nick was one of the most memorable dining experiences we've ever had. His professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were extraordinary. He seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even knew we needed it, and his recommendations, along with the pairings from the house sommelier, elevated an already incredible meal into an unforgettable evening. The food was exceptional, but sharing it while watching the sun disappear over the horizon made it feel almost magical. It's one of those evenings we'll talk about for years. The next morning, Cal made brunch every bit as memorable. So many resorts save their best effort for dinner and let breakfast become an afterthought. Not here. The quality of the menu, the freshness of the ingredients, and the level of service were every bit as impressive. It was another reminder that excellence isn't reserved for special occasions at your resort. It's simply your standard. There's something special about walking into a room and feeling like people are genuinely happy you're there. That's exactly how your team made us feel. One of our favorite memories came from spending time at the Terraza Garden Lounge with Ethan. By the second visit, he already remembered our favorite drinks and greeted us like old friends. They make visitors feel valued, cared for, and genuinely welcome. That's a rare gift, and it's what will bring us back year after year. I'll admit there was a small part of me that almost didn't want to write this review because I selfishly wanted to keep this little slice of heaven our own secret.
