READ THIS BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY! He installed a "brand new" unit 2 years ago and when it stopped working he sent his guys over to fix it. After spending no more than 5 minutes looking at things they said it was a faulty thermostat and charged $250 to replace it with a no-name brand. Then 2 weeks later, my AC stopped working again and when I called him to come back, he said he was out of the country and refused to send his crew over! He took no responsibility for his shoddy work and made no offer to rectify the problem. All Jerry was looking for was to make a quick buck. We were having AC problems for the past 2 months due to the LA heat and no one was really able to fix it as it would break the next day, he was quick to respond and give us a time and date to come check it out all done very much professionally and as soon as possible. Do not ever use this company. I used this company for new AC unit in may 2017. Stopped working last Monday. Called in for service on Tuesday. Told me to call on Wednesday. Called on Wednesday, told me call back in Friday since he is busy. Called on Friday, stopped answering my calls. With the Lat heat wave I noticed something wasn't right with my ac. It was working but want keeping up. I'm an electrical contractor so I called one of my buddies to come check it out. I waited over two weeks for my buddy to show up. Tuesday the 7th was my wife's birthday and I needed it fixed right away. So I found techno air on a google search. I called at 7:30 am and by 2 pm Jerry had already taken care of the issue. Same day service, what an awesome job he did. I am so happy. My house is now 75 degrees and the sore blowing out of the furthest vent is at 60 degrees. Much better than the 75 it was at on Tuesday. When it came to put in a new unit they were very responsive and wanted the job.. They got the job.. When we needed them to come in to follow up on fixing the unit under warranty they never called us back. We left them several massages but they never responded to us. What a shame.. We would have given them all our Airconditioning needs for all the buildings we own. What makes a Compnay a good Compnay is not only to be there when there is a new instalation job... They need to also follow up and honor the warranty.. In this case we got zero response from them to fix a new unit that we paid 11000$ for and it broke down in 8 month and they never came after so many massages to see why it's not working. Extremely poor service. I've seen other reviews saying this company was good in the past, but my experience was anything but. A few weeks ago my AC started not cooling well. The air was cool but not cold. So I called Techno AC on a Monday and he said he'd be out the same day around 2-2:30pm, which I thought was great as it was the start of one of the hottest weeks of the year. 2:30pm rolls around and he didn't show up. I waited until about 3:35pm and called him, he said he was on his way and would be here soon. About an hour later he arrived. OK, busy time of year for AC service, so I cut him some slack. He recharged the AC coolant, and then informed me that a valve was stuck and not working properly; it would need to be replaced. Fine I said, how long would it take. He said since it wasn't an old model (about 6 years old) if they don't have it in stock he'd get it in 2-3 days. He also said the way the unit was now, the coolant recharge would only work well for about a week, 2 weeks at most. The week goes by, and I hear nothing from him. As the next weekend was Labor Day, I called him back the following Tuesday. 'Oh let me get down to the place and pick up the part, I should be out in a day or so' he tells me. Again I cut him some slack and waited. The next Monday rolls around and again I have to call him to see what's happening. 'Oh, I'll be out there tomorrow morning.' Great! But the next day, 2pm rolls around and he's still not here. Yet again I call him, and this time he says 'Oh, I just need to talk to another of my guys to get him over there, I'll call you back in a few.' No call back, nothing. So I called him today once again, and I get this routine that he can't hear me on my land line...which I immediately checked with a friend who had no trouble hearing me on his cell phone. At this point it was obvious that I was being strung along by this guy. I doubt he ever even ordered the part. Now I understand that this is a busy time for AC repair people. But not once did this guy call me; not to say he was running late, not to tell me if the part was going to take a while to come in, not to tell me he couldn't make his morning appointment, not even when he said he would call me back. The guy simply didn't communicate with me at all about anything. Note that I wasn't angry or hostile with the guy and I have been patient with this nonsense for the last couple of weeks. But it's the most irresponsible way I have ever seen anyone run a business. So in the end after 2 1/2 weeks of basically zero communication on his part and an AC that is still just blowing cool not cold air, I'm out $250 dollars with this guy and I had to finally give up and go with another more reputable company. Use this guy at your own risk, or you could be out a few hundred dollars with nothing to show for it like I am. read more

My furnace blower failed in this recent SoCal cold snap and I called several HVAC outfits who told me either they didn't fix wall units, didn't fix wall units with fans and the ones who did fix them could come out in 7-10 days! I got desperate and called my plumber, yes plumber. I asked him if he knew anybody I could trust who could come out really quick. He gave me the number of Techno A/C and Heating and sent a text of my problem and a few photos of the furnace. Jirayer, or Jerry for ease of pronunciation, came out in less than 2 hours, and right when he said he would show. The furnace is a very old but super heavy duty Williams wall unit and after probably being on that wall for over thirty years, the blower motor just died. Jerry said it might be hard to find a new motor for such an old furnace and would let me know ASAP what he found. He called the very next day, today, and told me he found a brand new motor and when did I want him to come by?? Who in the trades asks that question anymore? So I told him when I could get home to meet him, he shows up within minutes of when he said he would, brought in a brand new motor, installed and tested it, and in about 10 minutes my house began warming up again, and is quite cozy again as I write. Had I settled for a 7-10 day wait I would still be sitting here with stiff fingers and cold feet. Thank you Jerry and Techno AC and Heating.
