I don't normally write reviews, but after what I experienced during my most recent visit, I felt compelled to create an account and share it. This is a longer review, but I believe the details are important. For some background, my company and I have been bringing both our business and personal vehicles to this shop since Ricky was the manager. I'm a regular customer, relying on this location for routine maintenance and repairs over the years. During my recent visit toward the end of the week, I came in for a flat tire repair and an oil change. When I arrived, Chevy was at the front counter assisting several customers at once. Meanwhile, the employee sitting at the back desk, where Ricky and Amber used to sit, made no effort to help despite the phones ringing constantly and customers waiting in the lobby. Instead of stepping in, he eventually walked outside, seemingly avoiding the situation. It was obvious Chevy was overwhelmed. Chris came from the back to help with customers while the other employee continued to watch the phones ring without answering them or offering any assistance. He never acknowledged the wait, apologized, or attempted to support his coworkers. I later learned from business associates that this individual is supposedly a manager, which was surprising because he displayed none of the leadership or initiative I would expect from someone in that role. Chris and Chevy were doing everything they could to keep customers moving while he contributed very little. Since Chris and Chevy told me they could complete my services quickly, I decided to wait instead of leaving my vehicle. While waiting, I went to use the restroom and was shocked by the condition of the men's bathroom. It was filthy, with what appeared to be fecal stains, dried urine, overflowing trash, a dead cockroach, and a terrible odor. Thinking the women's restroom might be cleaner, I checked it as well, but it was in similarly poor condition. Both looked as though they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. This level of neglect is completely out of character for this location. In all the years I've been coming here, I've never seen the facility in such unsanitary condition. No customer should have to use restrooms like that while waiting for vehicle service. I brought the issue to the attention of the employee at the back desk, who I later learned was the manager Ramsee, but again he did nothing. Unfortunately, the difference is obvious now with this guy around. While I was waiting for my vehicle to be completed, a customer entered the shop visibly upset and began expressing her concerns to Chevy. She requested to speak with a manager, and naturally, I expected the manager to step in and handle the situation. Instead, he called Chris to assist her. Once again, the individual who I later learned was the manager made no apparent effort to resolve the issue himself. Chris, who has been with the company for a while, handled the interaction professionally and did his best to assist the customer. It was reassuring to see an experienced employee step in, but it was disappointing that the "manager"chose not to address the situation personally when that responsibility should have fallen to him. Based on this experience, I can no longer recommend this location. Customers should not have to wait in an unsanitary environment with unusable restrooms, unanswered phones, and a manager who appears disengaged while other employees struggle to keep the business running. Everyone is clearly exhausted and it shows, It's disappointing to see how much this shop has declined from the level of service and professionalism it once provided. read more

What kind of business operates like a petty child? When we declined a service to replace the cabin filter, they did not install back into the car when returning it to us! Who does things like this and expects people to keep going back? I'd find a better place that doesn't treat you or your vehicle as poorly as their attitude. Ozzie is super courteous & made sure I understood everything we went over for my Lorry I appreciate his explaining the difference between basic services & cost vs. Ted Wiens in depth services and their slightly higher value point. I have been a consistent customer at this store for nearly 10 years. They have cared for several vehicles for me over this time, and all with honest hard work. I like that they have low turnover in staff - that indicates a good working environment for the team. I enjoy my interactions with the front line team and service team. I trust them to take good care of my car when I go in for any maintenance or emergency service. I cannot recommend this location enough! Awesome service at Ted Wiens! I spoke to Chris on the phone, and he was super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Same thing when I got into the store. I needed to get one of my tires on my Sequoia patched, and needed my super heavy spare re-mounted underneath the truck. I didn't feel like doing it myself because it was 113 degrees outside. Thank goodness for the guys at Ted Weins! My tire technician was Sam. He was super super nice, and had an amazing attitude. I felt bad because I could tell he was STRUGGLING in the heat outside, re-mounting my spare OUTSIDE in the blistering Vegas SUN because the service bays were full... all while I was chillin in the comfort of the leather seats in the air conditioned lounge. I told him it was hard for me to get under the truck in the heat because I had a knee injury. He told me he really felt for me, and he himself had surgery just the other day! (TBH it made me feel like such a wimp. Hahaha) I felt really bad that he had to endure the heat while I was being a lazy pos, so I slipped him some extra cash. I mentione to Chris that I wanted to dismount my tire that blew out (from a spare wheel), and he was super nice and took care of it for me too. It's a repair that I knew how to repair myself as I have always done my own repairs and had never had anyone besides myself work on my car before. But my garage where I usually work on my cars was filled with various items at that time, so I checked around at various places and found this Ted Wiens who knew what I needed done and exactly how to do it. I met with Ricky Barraza who told what he would do and the estimated price. They didn't do any unnecessary work and keeped my informed. I got my Z back the next day with no issues. I paid exactly what I was quoted. My Z is still running great. If I have to have someone work on my Z again, I would definitely take it back to this Ted Wiens again. read more

My mother in law brings her car here & she loves it & this place has so many great reviews so I know they do quality work. The headlight went out on my sons Toyota yaris so I brought his car in. They quoted me $335 to change a light bulb! They said $18 for bulb & the rest is for 2 hrs labor! I watched so many YouTube videos because I was going to try doing it myself but decided I should leave it to the pros. It should take no longer than 20 or 30 minutes. I ended up going to OReilly & buying a 2 pack of bulbs for $19.99 and my mom in laws neighbor will change the bulbs. read more

This is one of the best car repair shops I have ever visited. I felt very comfortable immediately as I walked in the front door of this business. They treated me with great respect and congeniality. My concerns for my car became their concerns and they definitely cared to help me and offered me a thorough explanation of everything they were going to do to fix my car. A certain customer service representative by the name of Ozzie was extremely helpful to me. He greeted me with a friendly smile and a willingness to get my car fixed right away. My trunk release switch wasn't working. Ozzie explained the procedures they would take giving me a best case & worst case repair estimates. They found the problem, fixed it and I was out the door in a little more than an hour. They also pointed out my windshield wipers were in need of replacement. Ozzie spoke clearly without the usual jargon you get at repair shops which sounds like a foreign language. My family and I were 1,500 miles from home when we started hearing a noise from the left rear wheel.. A local told us about this place so that's where we went. I told the gentleman at the front I was sure it was the wheel bearing. We walked to a restaurant to get lunch. We then receive a text saying they did a thorough inspection which was prepared by Chris Gomez and even signed off on by Chris Prentice and that it was the rear differential. The only problem was that it's a front wheel drive Buick chassis. Anyone with half a brain knows that a front wheel drive vehicle doesn't have a Rear Differential. I had taken the afternoon off to get some things done and ended up getting a flat almost immediately after leaving work. It was upon arrival at the coffee shop in the same lot that I realized I had a tire issue. I prefer to take my car to the dealership for everything, but I wasn't making it any further than the other end of this parking lot before I would be risking hub damage. The good? My tire was replaced and I was on my way in 45 minutes. I was told it would take an hour and a half, but they had me on my way faster than the original quote. This is really what I came for so overall a good experience. Customer service could use a little tweaking. He sold me the most expensive tire, but I could have negotiated this. I knew he was doing it, but I just wanted to be on my way. My employer does a lot of business here and there is a partnership discount. I asked the guy about it and he said there wasn't a discount. I nicely asked him to check with someone else because I knew he was wrong and he refused. Again, annoying, but I just wanted a new tire. The next day at work I asked someone at my company about this discount and they said there is absolutely a discount, but this guy couldn't be bothered to check. Coworkers thought I should move this up the chain and get this guy in trouble, but I'm not going to do that for a 5% or 10% discount or whatever it is. It was just his chance to make or break the customer service experience and he chose failure. Overall, I have a new tire and they got it done quickly, but the customer service left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I appreciate Chris P. you responding to my review, however my issues with your people trying to sell things to people that they really don't need frustrates me and others...I did not get the chance to address this with you until I had it checked out, but I brought my truck in for an oil change a few weeks before I brought the car in with the light bulb issue and I was told my truck needed the tie rod ends replaced. I was told they were loose and wearing out. I took my vehicle to another mechanic and had the same items your shop pointed out as needing repair and I was told there was nothing wrong with my tie rod ends or anything else dealing with the under carriage of my truck. I know sometimes business may be slow, but trying to take advantage of people will not generate good reviews or repeat customers. Yes, you give a military discount so an oil change at you place, however the stretching the truth of what needs to be done boils down to one of two things; Trying to make money off of unsuspecting customers who may not know any better to achieve the bottom dollar for your store, or mechanics who want to make extra money by spending more time on a vehicle fixing something that really does not need to be fixed. Plain Honest and Ethical workmanship will generate repeat customers and referrals which will exceed the bottom dollar for the store. I know you have a few guys who really care about the customer and will go out of their way to take care of the customer as I have had this experience here and showed my appreciation to the mechanic with an extra tip, but there are a few who are in question of only supporting the bottom dollar of the store. I don't know why my work continues to send out fleet of vehicles here. On 11/22/2021 the driver side bulb was out and replaced here. 12/6/2022 the passenger side was out and replaced. We call this morning and speak to Jonathan and explain the situation and he says "as long as it's just the bulb it's covered under warranty. When we take the truck they state it is the bulb that's out (again) on the driver side but now they see it's a government vehicle now the stories changes to "90 days". As per Jonathan now "the labor is 2 years warranty and bulb is 90 days". OH and just so you all know they charge $37 for the bulb and $112 for the labor. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!! I'm sure I'll get a call or response from the store manager AGAIN asking me to remove this post like last time because his manager seen this. I will not. THE PUBLIC MUST KNOW THIS PLACE IS IS NOTHING BUT A SCAMMERS. **update** look how they leave your after servicing it. This is the access panel used to change out he bulb.
