As a burger afficiando that seeks out new burger joints, I was pleased to see Teddy's open up 2 blocks from my house. I was praying that this placed panned out as a go to burger spot, as we need one in West Anaheim. So far, I've tried two of their burgers, the ABC (avocado, bacon, cheese), and the Cow Cow (beef patty topped with tri-tip). Both were excellent, nicely sized burgers. Both were well balanced, particularly the ABC. Avocado, bacon and cheese are already a good combo for a burger, but whoever designed this one, portioned everything perfectly between the soft but sturdy brioche bun. No condiment overpowered anything else, and everything complimented the beef nicely. The crispy onion strings were a nice touch, and the huge mound of fresh iceberg lettuce added a nice crunch. Texture and taste accomplished. The burgers here are under $8.00, so 5 stars is a no brainer. And, for a burger in this price range, definitely makes the OC top ten. Oh yeah, they have tacos, sushi rolls and teriyaki too. I tried a sample fusion taco, and it was really good. I'll be exploring the rest of the menu soon. read more

I happened to be in the area and stumbled upon this place on Yelp! Funny thing, my husband and I used to frequent Teddy's Deli in Laguna Hills and rave about their food all the time, that location is only open Monday-Friday so we don't get to eat there as often as we'd like. I started to look at this menu / photos and noticed the Cow Cow Burger, one of Teddy's specialties and knew this place was the same!! This location, however, focuses more on burgers, rice bowls, sushi rolls, and some fusion items (fries, tacos, etc.) We tried a couple combos, rolls, and Teddy even gave us samples of the bulgogi tacos...all really yummy! The quality is great for the price. I remember Teddy telling us one visit in Laguna Hills that he gets restaurant quality ingredients daily. Definitely worth a visit. They didn't have any tri tip during lunch time for their Cow Cow burger so be sure to call before if that's what you're craving. read more

The fries were took salty to eat, yakisoba was undercooked and worse of all the older gentleman that took our order made an unsolicited comment. If we order food DO NOT SAY "That's for you two?!? If it was possible to give a restaurant six stars, Teddy's would easily be the first. The combos are beyond ridiculous and will leave you feeling like a total boss. The yakisoba is unparalleled in perfection and depth of flavor. Every burger is hand-crafted with extreme care to flavor that never falls short of amazing. I legitimately considered making a fake one-star review because Teddy's is so incredibly good, I wanted to hide it (just promise you'll only take people you like here okay?). That's impossible though: The human brain is unable to create negative thoughts about Teddy's, even fake ones. The magic happens with their teriyaki sauce. Start with the spicy teriyaki and when all your tastebuds are online, switch over to the regular teriyaki sauce. It goes with everything: The burgers, the sushi, the fries and more. Ninza fries, which are teriyaki beef fries, are the best fries in existence. It is said that the invention of Ninza fries was so monumental that all people involved with their creation, including their close relatives, simultaneously received 10,000 high fives. If you are anywhere near Anaheim and you eat anywhere else, you have done yourself a great disservice. Nothing compares. read more

OMIGOSH!! The Cow Cow Burger from here is like WOW! It totally blew my mind because it has more meat than the other burgers so it really has a great meaty/burger flavor. I, of course, loved pairing it with the ninja fires because they were bomb dot com! This place has plenty of parking spots, and adequate seating. I noticed that this burger joint can get crowded really quick (especially during lunch time), which is a good sign because it shows that it's a popular place. I think what I also loved about teddy's was the wide variety of options on the menu. For example, yes, they had burgers, but they also had teriyaki plates or sushi rolls. I got the chicken teriyaki plate for my son, and it was really big portion for what I paid for it. Also, the customer service is pretty good. It doesn't take long to get your meal number called to you. Although, if you're in a hurry, you can always call ahead and pick up at the cafe. Dropped in for a teriyaki bowl but ended up ordering the Cow Cow Burger combo instead. It's tri tip on top of a burger, with provolone cheese, grilled bell pepper & onion and crispy little potato bits. The fries are super crisp & soft on the inside and enough for 2 people. Teddy must be pretty busy in the kitchen. They got all sorts of options here; burgers, teriyaki, sushi, tacos etc.. I've been told, it's always better to do one thing really well than many things average. The same applies to food. The Kyle Burger looks like a beast at first glance. It was good but ordinary. Standard burger with a whole lotta lettuce. You also get fries not just on the side but inside too. The fries taste like Burger King fries if you need an idea of what you're in for. Eh I think Dad could whip up the same thing. At least I wouldn't have to leave the house. I ordered the Bacon Cheese Fries too. Bacon, cheese, and fries; what's there to be disappointed about? Everything, I tell you. They just sprinkled bacon bits, very little cheese (pinch full), cilantro and called it a day. I like to think that the ratio of bacon to cheese should be the same for Bacon Cheese Fries. Am I wrong to think so?? Life can be so deceiving at times. Fusion fries should have that little oomph or substance to them. It was unimpressive and extremely underwhelming. Huge pass on them. Tried this place for the first time. Decided to take my skyline out for a short drive and picked up dinner here. Their bowls, LOTS and LOTS of meat! I got a chicken bowl and i cannot finish it. I went for the first time, and got their buffalo chicken fries. It was definitely not something to disappoint. The sauce had a nice kick to it but didn't distract from the flavor of the chicken or the fries. My family also got the abc burger and the burger was humongous. The meat was perfectly cooked and very juicy. The side of fries was also a great compliment to it. These dishes had very large portions, so at least expect to take some of your good to go. Although the restaurant doesn't seem as fancy from the outside, the food is what defines this restaurant. read more

I want to start off by saying that I freakin love this place. They have everything here and they make sure to give each item the attention and flavor it deserves. The original chicken bowls are wonderfully charred; lots of favor from that. For those who love sushi, they have various dishes that are plated and taste spectacularly. Close to a half a year ago, they stopped selling burgers and I was so disappointed but as of today, THEY'RE BACK! These burgers were like nothing I've ever seen before and expect to be full for hours after eating one. You'll eat good regardless of what you get. The professional nature of crafting such foods should be known to many more. Restaurants like these are rare to find and entire vibe of this place just feels amazing.
