Combo B, teriyaki chicken, crunch & California rolls
    Vic V.

My previous reviews are still accurate. Their chicken isn't as good as it used to be, it's chewy and kinda dry without the teriyaki. The sushi, on the other hand, has only gotten better. I like getting the combo that has both and realize now they give much less chicken than before. Their ramen and yaki noodles are ok, I prefer the yaki over the ramen but neither are bomb. I've never tried the burgers. I keep going because of the variety of options and it's close to my house. The owner is pretty nice too.

Wait was long on a Saturday evening. I ordered the Kyle burger and Ninza fries. Fries were ok and the burger was scrumptious.

If you're craving a teriyaki bowl, but also want a little bit of sushi rolls, this is the spot. They serve a variety of things, but the main thing that hit the spot was the teriyaki combo with sushi rolls. It was worth it if you are not trying to go too far for food. Definitely a local spot. It's a little pricey, but I would come again if I'm craving teriyaki with rolls.

Nice rolls and teriyaki!!!! Wasnt expecting much but really enjoyed it! Price is very reasonable too!

    1. The tempura on this sushi roll was fried perfectly! The burger was also comforting! 2. The spot has casual vibes! 3. There are many indoor tables and no outdoor seatings! 4. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! 5. Parking lot is small but not busy! Note: They have ginger and wasabi available upon request! Photo: Dark Knight Roll and School Burger

I just moved to OC, and I'm just trying out the places around my area and found this spot! Food is good, and for a good price! The person who took our order was nice and the ambiance is good! I really love the combo deal I ordered which was only $16! It came with crunch roll and cali rolls (4 pcs each). Would definitely stop by again!

    Ninza fries

Small but delicious! I had passed this place many times and finally got the chance to eat here. I had the ninza fries which were amazing! It seems as though they make everything fresh and to order. The menu has a lot of variety from burgers to sushi so I will have to come back to try something different! Service was friendly and a man who I assume was either the owner or the manager asked us how everything was.

    Combo B

Highly recommend the Teriyaki plate combos, as they are delicious and fill you up. I typically get Combo B; their sushi is pretty good. However, other than that, their other food that I have tried are not worth it: -Bacon Cheese Fries: cheese came out hard instead of melty and few bacon was on them. Doesn't look like the pictures they have up in their store -Burgers: Overpriced and tasted average. Minus points for the soggy bun when I got it -Yaki noodles: Were not bad but were not good either Long story short: Stick to their teriyaki chicken combos.

This place has surprisingly good sushi considering they serve burgers and other things which kinda threw me off at first. I've been getting their baked salmon roll for years, kinda miss when it was still under $15 but I will always support this business. The employees are very nice too. Haven't tried their other stuff but definitely try the sushi, you won't regret it!! Other places stuff their sushi with mostly rice, but this place is mostly filling. Love it

Hadn't been here in over 2 years, but it was still tasty like I remembered. I got the beef teriyaki fries and a California roll and they were flavorful. This place was pretty busy for lunchtime and everyone was trying to do their best to stay 6ft away. I guess I forgot to take a photo of my food because I was so excited to dig in, but it was good!!

We ordered the lomo saltado shaken fries and the calamari. The lomo saltado was definitely the highlight! the meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The fries had the perfect texture: crispy on the outside and not soggy at all. The sauce tied everything together perfectly, with a great balance of savory and sweet flavors without being overpowering. The calamari was also well-executed. It was crispy, tender, and didn't have any fishy taste, which I really appreciated. Another plus is that the portions here are huge, making it great for sharing with family and friends. There's plenty of seating, and the lively atmosphere makes this a perfect spot for a casual meal, family gathering, or a night out with friends. The second visit was just as enjoyable, so much that we decided to visit on Sunday to check out their all you can eat brunch. The selections were amazing with a few exceptions. Outside of those selections, the brunch options were amazing and worth the cost. Shout out to Ryan and Koda for the hospitality, and the bartenders that served us during happy hour. We ended up getting Mango Grahams, Pancit, Siomai and Popcorn Chicken. Before we placed the order, it was communicated clearly from the staff that there would be a wait (there were 3 parties ahead of us, and one of them was huge, so we kinda expected a wait anyways.) We also weren't in a rush and were willing to wait regardless, so that didn't really bother us. The Mango Grahams were exactly and more than we expected; definitely satiated my cravings. The food was also good and arrived in a reasonable manner. Again, we only wanted to check this place out because of the Mango Grahams, but we were surprised at how many other options they had for desserts, appetizers, food, and drinks. It's a bit of a drive for me, but I wouldn't mind the distance knowing the quality and options they have. Also, I briefly looked into this place before driving here, and I was expecting like a quick "boba store" environment, but it also has a sit down ambiance. Great for quick hang outs with friends or sit down meals with your family. Also, I'm specifically writing this review because of the staff. Given how busy they were, I want to recognize how friendly and welcoming they were. There were lots of orders, but they came out in an understandable amount of time, and the person in the front always had a smile of her face. She always communicated clearly and warmly about the waits, and was very accommodating to the customers. I can't wait to go back for more Mango Grahams (and also check out their other menu items!)
