Not too bad prices. Definitely worth it.

Came from west Phoenix to get a great hot dog. Little bit of a wait in line but it went pretty fast. Lots to choose from. Hot dogs, corn dog and even burgers. I love that you can split your fries and onion rings so I didn't have to make a choice. They have shakes too! I got the orange cream shake and it was all I'd hoped for. Everything was delicious and did not disappoint. Corn dog had a nice crunchy exterior. Works hot dogs have hot sauce , relish onions tomatoes and a good size pickle. So good! Shake was huge. It took a little bit to get our food. We waited at least 30 minutes. So if you're in a hurry maybe call ahead.

Just a quick update. Still a good stop to grab a meal. Looks like they did some interior remodeling with some new paint. Dogs were still good and tasty. Service with smiles were welcome...thanks. Last word...hotdogs.

I havent been here for over 20 years.. I came here once because my friend said they have the best hot dog. Met up with my friend for 2nd run. I know this place have been here for a while and they are known for their "griled" hot dogs.. Ordered two foot long with everything that comes on "free" added. Little over $15 for two hot dogs, I don't know I felt like it was bit pricey. Over all hot dog was pretty good. I guess it's better than average hot dog but I don't know if it's worth the money or trip for me. Probably why I haven't been here over 20 years. Over all not bad.. I probably won't be coming back.

Grew up when this place first arrived but never tried it until now. Place was empty. Asked about the award wining Shanghai La tea and what it taste like. Worker said it's just regular tea. lol. Orange cream milkshake was good though. Foot long bun tasted stale. Paid extra for the chili and for the cheese. Both $.99 extra.

The best hot dogs !!! Honestly... we drive from downtown Phoenix to Ted's often. Love everything! But I always just get the all beef. The chili sauce is the best!! My husband loves the corn dogs. A classic place. A must!!

I have lived in Arizona for over 10 years and have known about Ted's and its long-standing history in Tempe and finally tried it. Other than the fact that it was pricier than I expected for a hot dog stand, wish I would've tried Ted's sooner. I love hot dogs - and I love this place and their grilled hot dogs!! I was surprised to learn that they have more than hot dogs - burgers, chicken sandwiches, ice cream, shakes, onion rings, etc. The onion rings were also a highlight. I enjoyed it so much that i came back the very next day! And even better- I learned that they are even opening a second location in Arizona in Gilbert!! Closer to me! So, maybe - I did learn about Ted's just in time...

Chili dog tasted like a gas station burrito, sauerkraut tasted like microwaved fish, and the fries were undercooked and floppy. 3 items cost me more than $20 and I threw more than half away. Never coming back. Also took 10 minutes for my food and the place was almost empty How can you F up hot dogs so bad, zero stars

If you're looking for a legit, no-frills spot for a really good hot dog or brat, Ted's Hot Dogs is absolutely worth checking out. We've been coming here for about five years now, and it's one of those places that just stays consistent. You'll usually see a line, but don't let that scare you off--everything is made fresh right in front of you, so the short wait is part of the experience. What really sets this place apart is the grill. You can watch them cook your hot dog or sausage to order, getting that perfect snap on the casing with nice grill marks. The texture alone makes a big difference--it's crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. They've got a ton of topping options too--probably a dozen or more. Whether you're into sauerkraut, sautéed peppers and onions, chili, or keeping it classic, you can build it exactly how you like it. The sides are solid. The fries are good, and the onion rings are a little different--thinner and softer than most--but still tasty. This isn't necessarily a place we go every week, but when the craving for a really good hot dog hits, this is where we go. It's definitely a local favorite, and you can tell by how many regulars have been coming here for decades. We've also heard they might be opening a location in Gilbert soon, which would be awesome. Overall, great food, fresh off the grill, and always hits the spot.

I stopped here for a quick to go lunch. The ordering at the counter was quick and fast. You walk up and they give you a pager after you tell them your order. I ordered fries and two hot dogs. They came out quick. I love that you get to customize how you want your hot dogs cooked such as well done. The hot dog and the fries came out hot and fresh. The fries were good and crispy with the right amount of salt. The hotdog was good but not great, there was a lack of flavor for the chili, just something missing to take it over the edge but it was good. The only issue was the meal costs $20 for two hotdogs and fries which seems very expensive. I'm not in a rush to go back but it was nice to be able to grab a hotdog on the go and have it to be served fresh and hot. The restaurant itself has lots of sitting if you want to enjoy your meal there. Overall the experience wasn't too bad!

Holy YUM! Probably best chili cheese fries I've ever had. I literally dream about my next trip to Phoenix so I can go here lol. Hot dog was also sooo good! Their house made sauce they put on top was so flavorful but didnt take away from the hot dog itself. Staff was also very kind, it was our first time there so we were confused on how to order but they helped us. Very spacious but very quiet inside haha.

Been driving by Ted's for years and finally decided to place an order a couple of days ago. It was so great to be able to order and quickly pick it up. It was late and the door was locked, but the staff opened up the door and gave me my order. I took a few bites before driving off and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of toppings and the real taste of chili and beef. Every bite was simple, but delicious! I love that they are right up the street. So, whenever the craving hits I will be there!

It has been around for DECADES and there is no question as to why it is still there. When visiting the Chuck Box know that it is cash only (ATM on-site), and super popular. There WILL be a line. The line does move extremely fast, due to the fact that the line cooks are definitely not waiting until you get to the counter to take your order. They will call out to anyone in line (regardless of where in line you are) and take your order, yelling it out if needed. It is such a unique and fun experience. The burgers are not overpriced and are phenomenal! It is self serve toppings, after you pay for your order you can go to the topping bar and add as much to your burger as your heart desires. They additionally have other food on the menu such as veggie burger, chicken sandwhiches, chicken tenders, onion rings, fries, fried zuchinni, fried mushrooms, and more. I have had both the fried zuchinni and mushrooms and I would definitely recommend both options! Since it really popular, be aware that there is limited seating and it is crowded. It is additionally extremely warm (especially during the summer) inside the building due to the grill. If you have not already checked out the Chuck Box, I would definitelly recommend that you check it out as soon as possible!!!

To start, my burger tasted pretty good. The cheese was good. Bun was a little dry and stale. The lettuce was yellow and chopped and looked several days old and slightly rotten. Two of my tomatoes had active mold growing on them. It was too dark inside to see it but we ate in the car and saw the moldy spot then. The fries are good but way too salty. We really liked the fried mushrooms. But we made our own dipping sauce which was better than the ranch they give you: mix 2/3 mustard and 1/3 Mayo. Tangy and delicious. We get these at "The Windmill" when we go to the jersey shore and the sauce that comes with the fried mushrooms is a horseradish sauce which is amazing (hint hint, Chuck Box). I would eat here again but bring a flashlight to inspect the produce and lower my expectations. It was good, not great. It smelled kind of off in here also. The AC and vents probably need to be cleaned.

The restaurant was clean and inviting, the staff were friendly, and the overall quality of the food was excellent. I would also love to see a few more beverage options added to the menu, such as fresh craft lemonade, flavored iced teas, or other specialty drinks in a case or cooler to choose from. The current drink selection felt somewhat limited, and having a little more variety would have elevated the overall experience for me. With an expanded beverage selection, this easily would have been a five-star experience for me. The cheeseburger alone is absolutely worth coming back for! My server, likely named Natasha, was immediately warm and personable, which set a good tone. I ordered the fish tacos, roasted Brussels sprouts, and charred green beans. The dishes arrived in about 13 minutes--a reasonable turnaround--but I was surprised that the tortillas were cold, and the green beans were only lukewarm. The portion sizes are modest, which actually works well for solo dining since there's no pressure to share. While my server was excellent, the overall front-of-house experience had some rough edges. Walking in through the patio, I encountered a host stand blocking a door--odd given that the restaurant has a more attractive main entrance on the opposite side. Staff were sometimes gathered near the front while guests waited, and at one point, employees were eating at the bar top rather than in a back area, which felt unprofessional for an otherwise stylish space. Eureka! has potential, and the food has bright spots, but details like presentation temperature and guest perception of staff behavior are where the experience falters.

This location is perfect for a date, family gatherings or work social events in the private area... they also offer tours of the brewery area... a fun place to watch any sports, especially ASU games!

Make sure you don't park in the parking for the cafe next door. Drinks: They have a lot of beer options and I was amazed they're all brewed there. My husband and I tried different beers recommended by our server and we both loved our drinks. Food: we ordered the cheese bread, salad, and pretzel burger. I loved them all, but especially the cheese flat bread was AMAZING. Service: our server was really nice and knowledgeable about their beer options. Service was a little slow but it was a pretty busy day on Saturday so it's understandable. Highly recommend this place! I'd love to go back if I'm in Phoenix again.

There is plenty of bar space if you're popping in for a drink.. of course, the actual bar that runs along the shelves of liquor, and there is also a bar on the other side of a roll-up door, perfect for people who come with dogs. There's also a bar space that runs along the window that separates the small dining room and the patio. There are a few tables inside as well as some bigger tables on the patio. The patio is nice with lots of shrubs right outside the rail. The murals on the wall are pretty darn cool - - they're like enlarged historic photos of the area. I love them! And I'm not sure who's giant face is hanging on the ceiling but it's short a spark conversation. The menu here has a little something for everyone. There's the regular loaded fries and wings, salads, and a nice election burgers. We ordered the Philly Salad and the Very Summer Salad with a side order of fries. They make their own ranch, and it is good. I will say they don't seem to skim on salad ingredients either - - the Philly salad was covered with shaved beef, and my berry salad had a lot of chicken and tons of blue cheese. The fries were delicious - - slightly seasoned and crispy. This place is clearly dog friendly. In fact the day we went there was a sweet Pitbull named Daisy who literally hopped up on a bar stool and sat there like a little angel the entire time. The bar had a dog full of water that they sat down on the counter next to her owner's beer. They also have dog biscuits to give. It made my day to see that sweet little dog hanging at the bar having a treat. This really is kind of a spot that feels like it's probably the hangout spot of many people. Great bar food and a good selection of beers. What's not to love?

Cocktails were made well, I'd come back and try others. Our friends suggested The Hudson which worked for me, it's been sitting on my list for a while. Bar food was pretty good. Next time I'll try a burger since people like them a lot in reviews, and I love a good burger. This visit we had the carne asada cheesesteak with some onion rings and boneless wings. Both items were good. I think for me, 4 stars seems right since there's an element of having to order at the bar and then come back up if anything is needed. Making it feel somewhat self service but I'm sure we tipped like full service. And at first we were trying to figure out the menu, where to order, and apparently we had a learning curve that night. Brains were tired. We sat outside with the misters at night. That was totally fine. It wasn't one of the nasty hot days.
