I used to like Ted's, but the last 5 years or so, the service at the drive through has gotten quite spicy/arrogant. They tend to make you feel like you're annoying them a bit, and they're doing you a big favor for serving you. When you arrive at the pickup window, there's no "hello", no order review, and no "thank you for your business". They take your money, hand you your order, and kick you in the backside to move along. I was there recently and ordered a burrito. I specifically asked for no avocado, the clerk appeared to understand my order, and I even clarified it once more when I was at the order speaker. When I got home, it had tons of avocado! I wouldn't have been so disappointed as I was, but this has happened 2 of the last 4 time's I've used the drive through. It's almost like the staff really doesn't care if you're happy with your order or not. read more

This place is horrendously awful. The prices are INSANE for such bland, poorly prepared food. It's over $7 for an order of soggy tasteless fries, and they charge extra for ranch. (TIP: Some kind of sauce will be necessary to make them edible, otherwise you're eating tepid soggy cardboard.) The burgers are pitiful, and Carls Jr. or Burger King will give you a more flavorful, more filling burger for less money. The patties here are even thinner than a standard McDonald's beef patty, and they are without even a modicum of flavor. The meat tastes how it looks: gray. How does something "taste gray", you ask? I don't know, but the rip off artists at Ted's have figured out how to make a repulsively unappetizing double cheeseburger that has less meat than a Quarter Pounder with Cheese, much less than a quarter of the flavor, but Ted's will still charge you +$12 for the greasy flavorless mess. And the service is awful as well. The last time I went I asked for "freshly made extra crispy fries." The lady manning the drive-through kept omitting the "freshly made" part of my order when she would read it back. (E.g. she just kept repeating "Extra crispy fries".) I had to correct her each time and then finally break it down for her: "No, I want FRESHLY MADE fries that are extra crispy! I don't want you to just throw old fries back into the fryer! I want FRESHLY MADE fries that are also extra crispy!!" She gave me an extra-crispy order of ATTITUDE, but my fries came out exactly as I was hoping to avoid: they were obviously old fries that they just dumped back into the fryer. They were soggy, unappetizing, and that nasty dark brown color due to the oil saturation. Oh, and they weren't even salted. I couldn't even eat them. I've been disappointed each and every time I've been to Ted's (3 times), and will never ever be back. I really hope they go out of business and open literally anything else in that prime real estate. Went for late breakfast more lunch and it was pretty decent. I got the chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns and toast and it wasn't my mother's but for a diner/ drive through it was pretty good. We ordered at the counter and then and nice woman brought it to our table. It has a drive through also. Variety diner menu. The price was slightly cheaper than other breakfast places. Will go again. I believe anyone paying attention will see through the bull crap response to my review. I particularly like the "Buh-bye" at the end. Sounds really professional and sincere, doesn't it? They did NOT tell us about the ranch dressing cost until after they brought the food. They bait you into buying something, then charge more for a condiment that you assumed was free, LIKE EVERY OTHER condiment on earth. How well would that go over with ketchup? Buy a burger that you only like with ketchup, then when it's brought to you, you ask for ketchup and they charge for it. Would that work for anyone? It's not like I gave a crap about the couple bucks; it's their scammy way of getting it from me that's the problem. I was disappointed in the visit, but I'm pissed off about their lying, smug response. Not only will I never go there again, but I'll proselytize so others stay away, as well. We like to support local family owned businesses but had such a bad experience yesterday - we won't go back. We tried to place a pick up order as we were out doing errands but the girl wouldn't take our order without paying in advance. So we placed the order online no problem we went to the drive in window & waited 17 minutes as the car in front of us took that long to order. Finally getting to the window- the girl said she was NoT allowed to hand us the bag ( this was paid for ) we had to go inside to pick it up. This place is a joke and their customer service is extremely disrespectful, it's not very hard to remove one ingredient from a burrito but if you work here, it's extremely difficult. We love Ted's. My son loves their spaghetti and meatball dinner with a side of steamed broccoli added on. We go once a week for the above. I call ahead and drive thru to pick it up to take home. The days where we have some more time, we will go inside and eat there. My son loves how low key it is inside (not a lot of over stimulation) and just friendly everyone is. Super clean, tvs in dining area, very friendly and helpful staff. My son is autistic so sometimes restaurants can be overwhelming with all the noises and crowds, but Ted's is so welcoming and cozy. My husband and I recently moved to this area and we were looking for a comparable breakfast burrito spot just like the place we used to frequent back in Chino Hills. My daughter said Ted's was comparable. We have yet to try this place for their breakfast burritos. Well ....tonight my daughters and I were craving some fried zucchini strips so we decided to try Ted's Place. We also ordered some feta fries just in case the fried zucchini wasn't enough. While the zucchini would have been enough for the three of us to share, the feta fries were yummy too. Probably would have been better (crispier) eating it right at the restaurant versus taking it home but it was still tasty. I will definitely be back to try their breakfast burritos. read more

I order a chilaquiles place I have purchase this plate before so I know what it comes with I get home and for my surprise it was missing the steak. Call the restaurant guy who answer was arguing with saying it didn't came with steak they don't even know what their menu is finally he ask and realize it did he transfer me to his manager. Crispy Fish Sandwich ($12.99): Ok. Hamburger bun used instead of other bread. fair/normal amount of lettuce stacked neatly, slice of tomato, slice of "kraft cheese," and a bit of tarter sauce. I would of liked more sauce (extra tarter cost extra). Fish is same as there Fish N Chips. One good sized piece fish. Crispiness lost due to take out order. Overall balance is a bit bland. Service: Drive Thru is slow as that is how long it takes to make the food or someone else order in front of you. Other: 3% "service charge" still exists. From what it seems, the fish sandwich cost could be different than on the drive thru menu, i recall seeing $11.99, so they are not great in updating items/logistics. I could be wrong. read more
