I have been going to this place regularly for 4 years and today was terrible. I went there for Wing Wednesday and the service was terrible. We went to buy drinks at the bar outside and when we tried to pay with a $100 bill we were told it was fake because it had the Benjamin Franklin on the right side (which is where it should be) after it passed the pen test. They then proceeded to kick my friend out who had tried to pay with the bill after we paid for the drinks. We also asked for a to go box and were charged $5 for it!! For an empty box! Then, they told us to put away a water bottle the security guard allowed us to bring in. Overall bad service and very disappointed. Great spot in the Mission with a vibe that not many spots have in SF. I have been there twice for Wing Wednesdays over the past few months. One time was during a Warriors finals game which was a madhouse both inside and in the back patio. If you go for Wing Wednesday prepare to get there early or potentially share a table with others. Drinks were very fair for SF with 5 dollar white claws and 3 dollar bud lights. 50 cent wings have 3 sauces (buffalo, bbq, Thai chili habanero) as well as plain. The wings are a bit dinky and small but sauces are pretty solid. Good buffalo and the Thai chili habanero does have some spice to it. I don't think I would come here for their food at full price, but for their daily specials definitely would recommend it. read more

TL;DR - Go for their Wednesday wings night! Love their Wednesday wing nights because you can invite a ton of people due to their outdoor space in the back and watch games on the tv. For a few dollars, you can eat a few wings and drink a nice cold beer. Teeth is my #1 go-to spot when in the Mission area. The drinks are pretty cheap and the bartenders are super friendly as well. Not only are the drinks solid here, I definitely come here for their tater tots as well. The totchos ($12) are my favorite in their version of nacho toppings over a bed of crispy tater tots. The best part of this place is the outdoor patio in the back, especially on a nice sunny day. Everyone that I have brought here has been impressed by this space. It takes one horrible experience to lose a customer. They have wing Wednesday here, which is a great deal if you don't mind dealing with mobs of loud, drunk people. The customer service here is a "f**k you, we messed up and we don't care" type of place. I've been here multiple times now as I live in the area, but my most recent experience is also most likely my last. After waiting over 20 min in line to order, which was 21 buffalo and 7 natural wings, we also waited over half an hour for our wings seeing many people who came in after us get their food. I asked a waiter to check on our order. He came back telling us he saw our ticket earlier, but the kitchen made it wrong and gave it to someone else, so he waited for someone (a customer) to tell him about the order which is what we did. He waited for a customer to complain, knowing the order was wrong? What, how does that make sense...and clearly he was irritated with the kitchen staff too. As time passes, after about a 45 minute wait, another server comes out with a tray of wings asking if it was ours. It was not what we ordered (half buffalo, half bbq), but she said "I'll leave these here cus I feel bad". I then told her if I could get the flavor I actually ordered, the 7 natural wings, that we're missing and that we paid for. None of us wanted the bbq wings. Also we wanted 2 to-go boxes after the 45 minute wait. She'll be right back...our other friend who ordered separately is done eating his food by this point. The server doesn't come back, so I flag her down and ask what's going on. I just want the 7 natural wings we ordered. The server then mentions the kitchen doesn't have a ticket so refuses to make the order. Oh, we also can't get a to-go box unless we pay for them, even after waiting 45 minutes and getting the wrong order. She asked for my receipt, which doesn't even list our order. As she kindly went to check again, the bartender that took my order didn't even put it in correctly (despite he clarified with me twice when I was ordering). Overall we waited an unnecessarily long amount of time because the kitchen and servers can't communicate, the bartender put in our order wrong, and in the end, we never got what we paid for. Been here a few times for mimosas which was an experience for sure. Nice place to get away if you can find space during the summer in the back. Service comes by frequently, and the portions on food are quite good. Water you can grab yourself from multiple areas of the place. This past time was catching up with old friends, and we had gotten a place indoors instead. Back seating area was too packed. Server was quick, and checked on us a lot for anything we needed. I had gotten a cobb salad and a loaded tots the share. The tots are still good, great for sharing. The cobb salad was tasty as well although personally I would want more greens. Everything else was a lot without the greens to support everything. I suppose I just always want more vegetables wherever I go. We come here for Ohio State games. So many buckeyes in the bay area, we love it! Even the bartenders wear buckeye gear. Go Bucks! They open early for early games. Teeth has been one of my favorite bars in San Francisco for years. This was a place to watch sporting games, have birthday parties and just reconnect with friends. However it as significantly changed since the new owner has came about. The overall feel of the place is way different. It is no longer a fun upbeat place to used to be. I will no longer be going to teeth anymore. BUT!! Mission Street Burgers is the best! (Kitchen and Bar are separate owners) which was honestly the only reason I went to teeth in the first place. I'm sad to say but this bar has gone to complete sh*t! Under new ownership the changes being made are in efforts to gentrify and push loyal customers out. On multiple occasions I've been treated rudely by the new owners and given attitude for no reason at all. He even refused to take my order and demanded me to wait for a different bar tender. The music is off putting , slow and not the vibe for a bar in the Mission. What I will say is that the food here is amazing (owned by Mission Street Burgers) and separate from the bar. I've been coming here for years on wing Wednesday's and taco Tuesday's! Plus they have the best burger in the city! From now on I will no longer support the bar and only order take out food. As a regular of this bar, I would have to say that I will not be going back here anymore. Ever since the new manager of the bar Robbie took over, it's been a whole different experience in the worse way. From my own personal experience at the bar, He's very unwelcoming, unprofessional, and rude. One time I tried to order some chicken tenders and fries and he was like "you and I both don't need that". Then just made my drink. The music choice for the bar has also been worse too. It's no longer fun and upbeat, it's now like slower and boring. As for the food itself, I will still support that business because that has nothing to do with the bar. That's it's own entity. So if you like the food continue to order and support. The FOOD. Factoring in size of wings, price and flavors Teeth SF is probably my favorite spot for wings in the city. They have 25 cent wings all day Wednesday, with a 2 drink purchase. Which isn't bad at all. The last time I went was during happy hour, which I believe is from 4-7, and you will never get a bette deal. We ordered 25 wings, TOTCHOS, and the two beers, which were $3 dollars each during happy hour. The wings were on point per usual. Tasty, crispy, and not one wing was undercooked. The Totchos, which are tater tot nachos were super bomb. The tots were perfectly crispy, which is important when using them for nachos, and the toppings were tasty as well. Best damn tots in SF! Oh girl I love me some tater tots. It's not just for breakfast anymore. It's replacing chips as a snack. It's replacing fries as a side. And how can you not resist these bouncy warm fluffy toasty crispy balls of potato goodness? So if you're looking for the best tots in town, come to Teeth. I have a trivia team that is here every Monday night. Year-we're those people. Way too serious about what our team name is. Way too serious about winning (we usually place top 3) But never serious about being serious. They do a $10 beer + burger combo. For vegetarian/vegans, it's $13. Still a damn good price. I get the Beyond burger with a side of tots & whatever special beer they have on draft. Classic options for a great price and done right. On top of regular tots, they also offer truffle tots, and sweet potato tots. Choices! It can get a little packed here, and it can be understaffed so it takes a while to get a drink or close out a tab. But the workers are always friendly and work as quickly as they can. During the warmer seasons, they will open up the back patio. On Tuesdays there is Taco Tuesdays. Teeth is just one of those classic-style divey bars that serve divey food but everything is just done pretty well at a good price. Got here for wing Wednesday ($.25 wings) and it was packed by 5:30pm and some people ended up standing and eating starting around 6:30pm. As it was my first time here, I thought it was just a restaurant with a bar so i was surprised to get carded walking in when it was still day light out. Indoors was hot, crowded, loud and smelled like chicken. Thank goodness they have a patio section with some picnic tables and tall tables. They also have one TV but nothing was playing at the time. 2 unisex restrooms covered in graffiti and stickers (per usual, you won't get bored in the bathroom). We ordered the sweet chili habenero, bbq, and buffalo wings. For $.25 wings, they were normal sized and drenched in sauce which is a good thing. The mayhem tater tots were good, but like all things with toppings, it wasn't evenly spread. Not a biggie, their tots were still edible and crispy. The reson for 3 stars is the method of the madness. I think they can be more efficient when it comes to service. Maybe more staff in order to have table service? (You have to order everything at the bar then get served at the table, even for extra dipping sauce). Maybe have a mini bar outdoors just for drinks? It'll break some of the crowd and make the line a little less long? Granted, it was wing Wednesday and it probably only gets that chaotic some nights. What a great spot. We stumbled upon this place last minute and decided to pop in. From the time we sat down, to the time we left, everyone that worked there was incredibly hospitable (hard to find nowadays). Alvin was so hospitable that when there was something on the menu he didn't have but I wanted real bad, he frickin went out and got it! Similarly, I wanted an espresso martini and the sweet bartender went and found the ingredients to make one! I'm admittedly not a huge bar person, and I don't drink beer. But I DO appreciate a bar owner who cares about my health and safety, and owner Ben Bleiman has made it VERY clear that he does just that, by requiring proof of vaccination in order to enter his bars. In the past, I've enjoyed the Totchos here, which is basically just nachos with tater tots instead of tortilla chips. We have gotten the Reuben Egg Rolls, Tater Tots A La Mayhem with caramelized onions, russian dressing, and melted cheese (I don't know if they still make the latter), burgers, and Chicken Tenders here, and everything is exactly what you were hoping it would be: Fried and tasty!!! The entrance is WHEELCHAIR-ACCESSIBLE, although I've never tried to use the bathroom there, so I can't vouch for that. The scene is usually crowded, very loud and boisterous, and can sometimes have a very bro-ey vibe. It's a very popular bar, so that's to be expected! I prefer to get take-out from here and eating it in my quiet apartment nearby, but when I want to get out and feel the vibrancy of the Mission, this is definitely a great destination for that! read more

The bar formerly know as Dr. Teeth. A staple of the mission dive bar scene, this place has no problem filling up the weekend for a drink, and definitely for wing Wednesday. I most recently came here for one of these wing Wednesdays, and I got here around 5:30pm and was LUCKY to get a single seat at the bar for 5 people. FOOD: It's hard to go wrong with 25c wings, so there are really no complaints. Decent buffalo wings which were tangy and spicier than your standard wings. Blue cheese dressing to help wash it all down. Only real critique is I wish it were fried a bit more to be crispier. BBQ wings were a tad light on the sauce, but were a nice simple sweetness that somehow also went well with the blue cheese dressing. When it's busy, like on a wing Wednesday during a warriors playoff game, the line for a drink (which there are two and they are usually located at the opposite corners of the bar) can take quite some time. Sitting at the bar, we had to wait for one of the bartenders to come back from her break to get a drink, even though we were literally sitting at the bar. In the end, no complaints. 25c wings that were good, but not even close to great, on a packed night. I enjoy this place sometimes. Definitely a place you can come back to. read more

The buffalo wings served at Teeth are probably my favorite and for 25¢ each on Wednesday's, it is an absolute steal. There is a 2 drink minimum, which is expected. And it gets extremely crowded on Wednesday's, also expected. I wouldn't come here with a big group unless someone in the group can post up early and stake out a spot. I recently tried their Taco Tuesday deal, which is $1 beef, chicken, pork, fish, or veggie tacos! And no drink minimum, which is amazing. The tacos are small, but it's $1 per, so I think it's worth. I liked the pork and fish best, chicken and steak were dry. I also recently discovered the back patio area which is really nice.
