As a self proclaimed aficionado of Iranian food, TehranRo takes my top spot on the list. I trusted Yelp once again and the prior reviews also claiming my sentiment brought me here. The meats were so tender, you hardly need a knife. It'll tear apart with a plastic spoon and fork. The seasoning was perfect, and the even the grilled vegetables that I usually don't touch were great! This was the ONLY Iranian restaurant that nailed my Soltani "Medium Rare". It was perfectly cooked just as I would expect a steak house to manage that temperature. Coming from OC, I now have to find a reasons to goto LA so this can be part of the day. I am a big fan of Persian food and usually like to stick to one restaurant, but I decided to try this restaurant and I have to say this is a new spot that I will definitely come to a lot more! This restaurant is located in a small plaza so valet parking is $4 (totally worth it). We decided to sit outside and I loved the vibe, they have a water fountain so listening to the water was soothing. Service was fairly quick and we ordered the shish kabob and beef kabob. The food came out in about 15 minutes. Both entrees were delicious!! Cooked perfectly and definitely tasted like authentic Persian food. Overall I will definitely come back here and continue ordering their fantastic kabobs. 10/10! read more

For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. The best ground beef kabob we've ever had! Including our own homemade kabobs which we normally prefer to eating out. They were so juicy, melt in your mouth! I was surprised to have a grilled jalapeño on the side but it turned out to be a very delicious addition. We'll be looking forward to our next visit anytime we're in Los Angeles. Placed a togo order last night. I ordered the chicken breast kabob, the beef soltani kabob, and a kobideh roll. Everything was so DELICIOUS! The pita or lavash bread was also delicious. The condiments that were included with our orders were sumac and butter. The only thing I regret is I forgot to order their garlic sauce. Garlic sauce and hummus is not included. You have to buy them separately and I will make sure to order these items next time. My husband and I really enjoyed our meals. We had a great experience. From the time we called in the order to the time we picked up the food and then eating our meals. The staff was friendly as well! The only downside I can think of is the parking but hey, it's k-town. It's expected to be limited and hectic. If you decide to dine in, it's valet parking. read more

The food here is sooooo delicious! I love Persian food and this place does it Superbly well, I don't understand how they make all the meat so tender and perfectly grilled. The hummus here is different and oh so fresh and drool worthy. I try to to order a different dish each time I come back! Service here is Outstanding, friendly, attentive and all around amazing... Food was delicious! The rice reminded me of the first time I ate middle eastern food at my Iranian friend's grandma home. The meat was tender flavorful and cooked at the right temperature. We got takeout, because it was the closest to home after work. Service was friendly and efficient. They had valet, but if you have takeout the valets will allow you to park. I just finished the takeout that I ordered from here and I immediately had to hop on Yelp (first of all, thank you for helping me discover this place) and tell the world about how delicious my food was. I live in DTLA and tried pretty much any and all mediterranean places here and they're all "blah". So when I came across this spot, I was instantly intrigued. I mean, a solid 5-star review? Like how? The food is how! Okay let's get to the helpful stuff. I ordered the chicken kabob, beef kabob and hummus. Hummus is a MUST. Order it. Honestly you could probably split an order with four people. It looks small but it's delicious and mighty. Chicken kabob was juicy, flavorful and so filling. I'm literally on the couch right now writing this because I'm so full (in the best way possible) and I didn't even finish my food. I gave two pieces of chicken to my boyfriend and there's plenty of rice and veggies left over. It comes with: chicken, green bell pepper, onion, roasted tomato, lime wedge, roasted pepper and I think that's it! We ordered the rice + shirazi salad. It's just cucumbers and lots of other yummy stuff that is complimentary to the meal. They also gave us pita bread which is so amazing. It's cut up into smaller squares (about 3"x3"?), and it's thin so you're not dying from a carb overload at the end of your meal. They're wrapped in plastic so it looks very authentic and tasted like it too. The beef kabob was good but I'd give it like 7/10 compared to the chicken which was 15/10. It's not as juicy and flavorful but still good! I'll 100% be re-ordering from here. Just two chicken kabob plates and a hummus and you are GOLDEN! Next to Boba bear and Asian BBQ restaurant. Really loved the location , plaza with Vallet parking . The first impression was amazing interior design which represent the authentic Persian vibes and it's still modern and beautiful. High ceiling, luxury tables and sofa. Really polite and respectful upon entering the restaurant and the quality of the dishes are superB , I would say this was the best restaurant I have ever eaten in LA area so far beside the Raafi which I haven't tried but heard it's good. Yet this is in KoreaTown not Glendale . Their koobideh was amazing, their yogurt dishes. Only thing was their Joojej kebab(cornish) was too small. But it doesn't make it less than 5 stars .
