At last! Finally tried TehranRo in K Town. Cute little authentic joint with extremely attentive and kind service. Food is yummy! Ordered a combo plate - chicken and beef were both really tasty but I preferred the chicken. Must try!

Food: This place is Top Notch. 10 out of 10. I am a Persian food Connossieur and this is some of the best I have had. The service is friendly and the food comes out quick and executed to perfection. The vibe inside is modern, clean, and please see my pictures for the backstory of the Korean influence behind this place. You can eat in or I also noticed alot of customers picking up take out orders.

Such a great find. Thanks Yelp!!!! We stopped for dinner on our way to the airport and this place hit the spot. Great service as soon as we arrived through the final check. The food was so flavorful. My favorite was the koobideh kabob. So good. We also got the hummus too for a starter. It was a huge portion and very good. Overall excellent experience and would love to get back soon

Food here was delicious! Hummus is a must order!! Large portion but a little expensive. $26 on average. Service is both quick and friendly! Inside is very clean and comfortable overall.

Solid Persian/Middle Eastern restaurant in Koreatown! I visited this restaurant for an early Sunday dinner and my experience here was pretty good. Firstly, my friend and I were served an appetizer of flatbread and seasoned raw onions. We also ordered a hummus on the side. The hummus might have to be my favorite thing that we had here. It was so creamy and flavorful. It paired nicely with the onions wrapped up in the flatbread. It also paired well with the upcoming dishes we had. For the main entrée, I ordered the Koobideh Combination and it was good and standard. The minced chicken and beef logs were flavorful and juicy. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. Finally, the veggies were nicely charred and I liked how juicy the tomato was. The portion size was also massive. I had to to-go my leftovers which was good for 2 additional meals. For $23, it was a good value for the amount of food you get. The service was also good and our server was friendly and attentive. The interior was also nicely decorated and mostly clean despite being an older building. Overall, a solid experience here. I've had better Middle Eastern food elsewhere in LA, but this is a good option for an area that has predominantly Korean food options. There were also some Iranian families dining here when I visited, so you know the food is authentic.

Vibe: outdoor patio was nice and cozy Service: super friendly, even brought out water for the doggo that was with us! Food: so delicious - big portions, it could easily be 2 meals if I was going home, or you can share with someone. I had the koobideh, so tender!

Found this restaurant through yelp and would for sure recommend. We were greeted and led to a table as soon as we entered. Definitely a welcoming and friendly environment. The food was delicious, lots of good and healthy options. Also loved that the restroom was clean and so was the restaurant as a whole.

This has to be my favorite place in ktown. The food is DELICIOUS. I can eat my whole plate (but I won't feel good doing so lol). My go to dishes are the koobideh combination plate and hummus! I don't know how they get their koobideh to be so tender after being on the grill. Their flatbread for the hummus is addicting. I can eat stacks of it!!! I always leave happy and extremely full. Cannot wait to come back!

Still amazing. Only wish I lived closer so I can visit them more often. My mom's favorite so brought her here for a nice Friday night dinner. Ordered the beef and chicken shish kabob combo, the chicken kabob and lamb shank. I made my gf order the combo which was delicious and can easily feed two or more. Mom always gets the chicken kabob and I tried the lamb shank which was so tender and tasty. I really liked the beef kabob as well, so the combo works well for us the next time we don't want a ton of leftovers. Also will always order the lamb shank which was amazing. Pro tip: if you don't have a lot of time, order ahead for takeout and you can stop in front for a short time to pick up your food!

I absolutely love this place. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and the service was great. I ordered the Beef Koobideh which was absolutely immaculate. The meat wasn't dry at all and the rice was fantastic. Definitely my new go to for Persian food in Ktown.

Recently, we were curious if our old go-to, Javan, was still any good. So, my wife and I dined there. The beef and chicken koobideh entrees were both excellent- so tender and juicy. This weekend, we have some friends visiting from San Francisco. As SF is a fantastic food town in its own right, we suggested two different food options that are better in L.A. than what you'll find up there: Korean BBQ or Persian food. The wife pushed a return to Javan. Alex, the manager, recommended the All Javan Combo for our party of 5. It includes tzatziki, hummus, salad, and flatbread to start followed by beef and chicken koobideh, chicken kabob, filet, lamb, and choice of rice. We added an eggplant stew with lamb shank and an extra skewer of chicken koobideh. Finished the meal off with hot tea, a sublimely-delicious saffron ice cream (house-made by Alex himself), baklava, and little bites that were like honey churro nubs. After we finished this feast of a meal, my daughter looked up at me and said, "This was one of the best Persian meals I've ever had." I must agree. This was a meal greater than the sum of its parts- food was very, very good and the experience was elevated by the warmth of Alex and his staff. It's rare that a restaurant works this hard to make its guests feel welcome. Free street parking and a full-bar (Alex is happy to whip-up a special cocktail for you). I give Javan my highest recommendation. Please eat here if you're in the mood for Persian food. Bon Appétit!

It is better than their beef koobideh and barg, though those are still good. I have had better beef koobideh at other restaurants like Raffis or Shekarchi. Just until recently we have been experiencing changes in flavor and food presentation, still no excuse to serve people that have been supporting their business with tasteless and cold food. Last week I had enough and called over the manager. He did mention due to the high cost, they had to cut back and raise prices. Giving us the typical excuses to weasel their way out. Order 1 was tri stews that came out cold with small portion of rice. The stews were tasteless and meatless. Menu states chunks of beef but yet nothing in our dish. Maybe they gave us the veggie option for $28. I scream middle eastern from a mile away do you think I would go there for a veggie dish? I don't think so. Discrepancies can elevate a dish but unfortunately I don't think the new management in the kitchen has any clue on culinary arts. If you lack that part in your business at least serve a warm dish with decent size rice which is cheap to buy or add some side greens that can fill a normal size man so I don't have to stop by In N Out after. Order 2 was chicken barg that was cold as our stews, tasteless and strange color to it which manager claimed it was a new marinate and also agreed it was small. Small portion and cold but yet they charged $28 for it. No mention if their cuts are organic or not is very troubling as the chicken felt it was frozen with a chewing texture and a strange aftertaste. The icing on cake was a $5 premium charge for a small bottle of sparkling water that's normally at most at local gas stations for a $1.90. The manager had the nerve to tell us they have been cutting back including the small slice of lemon that they used to offer with a glass of water. This place is a joke and ran by people that just care for money as they have been opening new locations with our support. They have forgotten when you claim superiority over other restaurants you better deliver as presentation is key which this restaurant lacks as well. Manager claimed they focus on healthy marinates and oils and provide healthy meals which as if he was selling me on a gym membership! Maybe he should save all that talk and had refunded my money. I paid, even gave a healthy tip as the server had nothing to do with it and I would have ordered desserts but everything on it was unhealthy and store bought contradictory to his long speech. Save your money and don't go here.

When I come back here I will just be getting every dip and eating it alongside the thin piece of bread. The roasted eggplant dip is warm, topped with yogurt, fried mint, and caramelized onion. Heaven in my mouth. The creaminess of the dip, the tang of the yogurt, the crunch of the mint, the sweetness of the onions. I could have ordered three right then and there. The lamb was delicious and juicy. It was a little bit on the salty side but I didn't mind at all, and definitely did not notice with a mouthful of steamy rice and roasted tomato. The beef was also juicy and had a hint of alluring spices in each bite. The roasted vegetables were simple, which is exactly what the meat needs. We were the only other group there beside one other. The restaurant is beautiful, very clean, and has such a comfortable family atmosphere. The location is great, and most importantly, the quality of the food has always been excellent. Consistency is rare these days, but Jino's Pars has maintained high standards for many years. If I had to mention one tiny issue, parking can be a little tight because it's in a busy shopping center. But honestly, who cares? The food, service, and kindness make it absolutely worth it. Thank you to everyone at Jino's Pars for many years of wonderful experiences. Wishing you continued success and God bless your business.
