Want to start off by saying that when we walked up the security almost didn't let us in because my gf's sister forgot her ID, but the server let us sit down anyway. We sat inside and music had a lot of bass, which kinda felt like a club. We came on a Tuesday, so we got the Taco Tuesday deal which was $2 per taco with the purchase of a drink. I love this promo!!! I got 2 carne asada tacos and 1 chicken & my gf got 3 al pastor tacos. I especially enjoyed this because I don't drink alcohol and they allowed me to have the promo even with a regular lemonade. Overall really good service. Now lemme get to the flavor of the tacos... They were okay, nothing really special, even with lime and salsa verde. There is plenty of tv's displaying music videos to match the pop music playing through out. They had tacos for $1 each with purchase of a drink a minimum of 3 tacos. We got a pitcher of beer for $15 which poured 4 pints so it's a great deal! Service: Shortly after being sat my server came to take the order. She was very friendly and laid back; didn't catch her name but she had short hair and an adorable accent. Drinks came out quickly and food was out shortly after that. I think I sat for a total of 5 minutes before I had beer and tacos on the table. Had three different servers check on us through the visit so we never needed anything. Food: Meat was just ok, not bad, but I've had better. I started with 2 carnitas and 2 asada tacos which came with pico de gallo and a red salsa on the side. They were small tacos so I had a second round with 2 chicken and 1 bean and cheese taco (vegetarian option). Great service and food on Hollywood Boulevard! They have great indoor and outdoor seating depending on what your group is looking for. I definitely suggest coming here for happy hour because their original prices are very high. It is $11 for a 3 taco plate but it is $6 during happy hour. I was unlucky and paid the higher price. After paying and looking at my receipt the next day I realized that an 18% tip had already been included on the check before I had tipped without them telling me. It was a random Tuesday and my coworkers and I were feeling like a taco Tuesday so we found Te'Kila, which happens to be a short 10 min walk from our office. After getting here we see the deal is $1 tacos, minimum 3, with a purchase of any drink. A fountain drink is $3 so it essentially becomes 3 tacos and a soda for $6 and in Hollywood, that's one hell of a deal. We've been here twice now and both times we were seated right away, which is usually the case during lunch, but it's always nice. They have 4 options of tacos: chicken, asada, carnitas, and al pastor. Out of the 4 I'll say that asada is by far the best, with al pastor coming in at close second. However, the tacos are just okay, not amazing, but they do the job, especially at $1 a taco. The tacos do not come with chips, so you'll have to order that separate. We'll most likely come back for another taco Tuesday because the deal is so good. read more

A friend of mine comes up to LA fairly often ad she likes to people watch as she lives in the suburbs. We found Te'Kila and have gone there several times in the past 6 months or so. We were at first not to impressed by the place as we thought the name was sort of stupid but we wanted to sit outside so we ignored the lame name and went in. Parking: I came to the Hollywood location because it's close to home. My friend and I decided to come during the week to avoid traffic. Traffic wasn't nearly as bad as it would on the weekend but the parking is horrible. I pulled up to the nearest parking lot and asked for $15. I decided to look for street parking instead, but even that can be costly, make sure you read parking signs. It took me a good 20-minutes to actually get there. Location: It's in the middle of the block that looks like a shopping center but its along with other restaurants. As I walked in I was greeted by a host who then walked me to my table. Since my friend had the same problem I waited a while to order but my server was very attentive and checked on me frequently. I noticed how big the restaurant is. They offer indoor and outdoor sitting and they also have sitting at the bar. I requested to be seated outside since the sun was still out. Food: Since it was still happy hour we decided to order a few items from there menu. We first ordered the Nachos, they were good and perfect for the two of us. In the mean time we also had the big hennchatta which was amazing. My friend ordered tacos which I ordered their hot dog, seems like they are pretty popular for them. This is a good spot for Taco Tuesday! The tacos are $1 if you buy a minimum of 3 and they have chicken, steak and al pastor. The carne asada fries are really good and the hot wings are delish! The best thing they have is the Henchata (Hennessy and Horchata) which I have only been able to find at one other restaurant in the valley. They have an awesome happy hour with dollar tacos on Tuesday! Dollar tacos are one dollar and not made in those little tortillas either!
