We checked in and, inquiring about pool hours, were told the pool the and hot tub were not being service and closed for the weekend Oh No! Time by the pool is why we came. We were then told we could take a free shuttle to a nearby hotel and pay a $30 per person fee. Are you kidding? If an primary amenity is not functioning either a) there should be a reduced room charge or b) the fee for the other pool should be covered by Temecula Creek Inn. This is a poor way to do business. The property is really nice, a large golf course (that continues across the street) creeks and waterfalls. Several amenities, a good restaurant, café, wedding locations, conference and banquet rooms for pretty much anything you could think off. The service is really great, and that will make a difference in your stay here. The hotel itself shows it's age, but it's clean and well maintained. Close enough to all the "action" in Temecula, some 3 miles from Rancho California area where the wineries are and close enough to Pechanga too. read more

Scheduled what I thought would be a nice birthday weekend for my boyfriend. We arrived at 4:20 and our room was not ready although 4 pm is checkin time, so they gave us another room. I love rustic, but this Hotel is just completely run down. The bed is hard and uncomfortable, mold in the shower, facet does not turn off completely, refrigerator did not work, air conditioner did not work... When we arrived at Cork Fire for our 6pm dinner reservation they did not show us on the list which I had scheduled with a special birthday desert. They did however get us a table and the desert. Second night we went back for dinner and the food is not worth ever coming back for. Huge disappoint! The wine tour through Grapevine Wine Yours today was amazing! read more

We stayed here for the Valentine weekend and our experience was not good. We arrived at the hotel a little past 4pm and when my fiancé checked in, he was told that our room was not ready yet and he was advised to sit down and wait for them to call us when our room is ready. After about 20 minutes, I decided to go to the counter and check the status of our room. I insisted that the check in time is at 4pm and our room should been ready already. The lady I was talking to said that there was a party the night before and the one who used the room checked out late (which in my mind should not be later than 1pm because the check out time is at 12.). I explained that it should not impact us because we even got there after 4pm. After some time, the lady offered to make up for it by offering us complimentary drinks at Cork Fire and I accepted it (but which we actually didn't claim/avail). The view of our room is the golf course and I must say it's pretty. When we settled in, we mostly stayed outside the patio to enjoy the view while having a little drink. When it was time for us to sleep very late at night, we heard a lot of noises around us - from the room above and the room next to ours. There were heavy footsteps from the second floor and some people chattering. We could also hear noises from the other room when someone would use the shower. In short, we were not able to get a good rest because of the noises and those were mainly because of the thin walls or poor building structure. The next day, we decided to check out early at around 8 am. So we must say that for the price we paid for our stay here, we definitely did not get our money's worth. This is not the best place to relax and have a good night rest. read more

My son and his wife were married in December 2018 in wine country. They stayed here for their wedding nite for a quick getaway where they later went to Maui. Just last week to celebrate their 1 year anniversary they stayed here. The hotel staff, Loni and the manager, sure made it extra special as I found out! Prior to and booking the reservation, I let them know that it was their 1 year anniversary and they would be coming this day as they would be coming right after my daughter-in-law's Dad's funeral as he died rather unexpectedly and young! Upon arriving to their room, they were surprised as there was a beautiful and very thoughtfully orchestrated table personally for them that you would've thought it was from either my son or his bride or me! Well, I'm not going to say what was done to spoil or set up expectations for anyone else or ruin any surprise they may do for others, but they went above and beyond! This place does a wonderful job advertising; however, that's all it is..false advertisement. After dropping $250 on a room, we at least expected to have a working tv. No. On top of that, the walls are paper thin and trust me when I say, you can hear everything. If you get more than 3 hours of sleep I'd be shocked. After calling the next morning to tell the front desk girl, her exact response was...'uh.... Well... Nothing we can do' I wish I was kidding. We traveled across country for a destination wedding. I was in charge of booking several rooms for multiple days. Since the wedding was being held at the Temecula Creek Inn, we decided to stay there. I am sooo glad. To begin with, I really don't like dealing with phones and all that ' our menu has changed, so listen carefully,' stuff. And the people at the TCI were professional and happy to please. This is good when you are trying to book rooms for different dates for check-in and check-out. I contacted them by phone, several times. And their staff made it easy. We arrived on Wednesday night. We were able to check right in and the room was great. It was spacious, clean, with a great view of the golf course and the mountains. As the crowd stumbled in, we all went over to their restaurant, the Cork Fire Kitchen. It's conveniently located rigth on the grounds. Everything was close and were able to walk everywhere. The Cork Fire Kitchen serves delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. The food was excellent. The drinks were tasty. The service was all you could ask for. Yes, it's expensive, but it's a resort. You can always go to Old Town Temecula for your meals. Of course, it's crowded and you end up standing in line with everyone. The service was excellent. Need a towel?, right away. Tub doesn't drain fast enough? No problem sir. We'll have an engineer out while you're at breakfast. Anything you need, right away. One of my favorite things there was the hiking trail. It's a two mile loop that provides excellent views of the country side. We walked it several times. The wedding was great. Beautiful location, excellent catering, and even enough staff to make sure the outside tent kept warm in the nighttime breezes. It was not their first rodeo. One small thing - they needed were more electrical outlets in the rooms. How about installing those lamps with the two plugs right on top of the nightstand. It's an easy thing to correct and make this move from the 99th percentil to the 100% perfect. read more

What an amazing 2 day girls retreat we had at this amazing Inn! My six friends had never stayed at this hotel before, as I have, but because of our amazing experience, they say they will absolutely be returning! NOEL in sales was the key initially to our enjoyment by his professionalism and kindness and suggestions of what to experience! What a great man!! The front desk clerk, Tiffany, was also kind and accommodating with our checking in and out. She had great suggestions for wineries. The 6 rooms and accommodations we had were all terrific, comfortable and beautiful, too. Not to mention all of their views. Then the bar and restaurant food and staff were fantastic! We had lunch, hors d'oeuvres, and breakfast right there because it was so tasty and ambience and views were so perfect. Thank you so very much Temecula Creek Inn for a wonderful experience!!!! I almost forgot about this course. Okay, 27 holes in this cute, woodsy resort course. First the price. Fair not too expensive like Cross Creek but not as cheap as Temeku Hills. You're looking at prime time going at about $70 and twilight rounds going at $45. Fair and nice price with a cart. Now the practice areas, great and true putting greens and an adequate driving range. I've never been there when they allow hitting off the grass, it's always been mats for me and their mats have always been old. So a few point off there. The golf: 27 holes. Stonehouse 9-features rock outcroppings and huge elevation changes. Considered the most challenging of the three. Creek 9-considered the longest. And the Oaks 9-tree lined parkside course. The last two nines are much alike and the last two 9's remind me a little of a flatter Torrey Pines without the beautiful scenery. The Stonehouse 9 is fun, difficult and you have to keep your drives in the fairway. Now the one thing I don't like about this course is that for a resort course, it feels like a muni. I hardly see marshals and golfers seem to be driving everywhere. Like there are no rules or respect for the course nor the golfers. This course can be so much better but I think it looks like a muni when its supposed to be a resort course. I just want this place to be a little more formal. A slight recommendation. read more

This was the worst golf experience I've ever had.. waited behind a foursome the entire time to be on the last hole where I couldn't find my lob wedge in the grass (that was extremely long because the fairways are basically the roughs) couldn't find it anywhere to be a female driving the cart looking for it in this ridiculously long grass called the "fairway" and got stopped by multiple employees saying I wasn't allowed to look for my club and my driving privileges were "revoked" even though I never drove near the green.. near anywhere that was "unauthorized" just looking for my club and got absolutely no help just got told I couldn't drive the cart and mind you when I have a birdie put sitting on the green.. EXTREMELY RUDE!!! and disrespectful toward any woman on this course! This place disrespects women in general.. sad when some women golf better than half these men read more

I had my wedding here (at the Stone House) this summer and it was fabulous! We had a great time...the wedding coordinators are great and so very nice to work with. The place is beautiful, clean, and organized. The food is also good...we have eaten at the Temet Grill many times and always liked our food, so we were not surprised when our wedding food was just as yummy. The rooms are great...spacious, clean, modern...and the grounds/trees/golf course...stunning. I would recommend for dinner, a night's stay, or a wedding...or all 3! Over priced! I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before booking. I do not recommend this hotel. They are ridiculously over priced for what you get. We booked for our wedding weekend and were completely disappointed. Upon arrival the room assigned to us smelled like a cheap motel that rents by the hour, smelled like a smokers dorm, carpet was completely disgustingly dirty and stained. We did call the front and they did switch rooms (cool), however the toilet in the new room kept running, we had to get up to wiggle the handle to make it stop! Furniture is so old, pillows were so uncomfortable that my neck hurt the next morning on my actual wedding day!!! They say they have full room service and when I called asking for coffee to be delivered to our room, the maintenance guy knocks and gives me a little ziplock bag with Keurig coffee cups and a couple creamers! For 300 plus a night, you'd think to get a really nice room, nope think again. Do not be mislead by the pictures like I did. Only thing nice was the view from our room. read more

We had a suite with two bathrooms so the room is huge plenty of for six people to get ready in. the pool is small so don't plan on doing laps in. Played golf here this past Friday. Course was great. After Golf me and my 3 friends went into the restaurant upstairs for breakfast/lunch. Now the fun begins.. We checked in at hostess desk and you could tell the hostess was not happy to be working. We asked if we could sit outside and she said while looking outside no tables were available. There was an empty table but needed to be cleaned. My friend asked if she could have that table cleaned and went into total bitch mode and shook her head and said yes in around 10 minutes. We waited and sat at 11:24 am. Breakfast served until 11:30 we were told. While looking at menus the server asked if we wanted something to drink. We gave her our drink orders. Me and one of the guys ordered breakfast right away. The other two were deciding. Server said she would go get drinks and be right back. Then at 11:28 a guy came up and said we had 2 minutes to decide on breakfast and he was taking over table. I said wait, the gal just said we could order what we wanted when she came back with drinks. He said no. The other 2 had to order now. Both said they would have lunch. 10 minutes passed and the new server supposedly the manager brought drinks. He tripped and spilled an entire gin and tonic down the back of my Buddy then said, hey it was my fault I tripped over your chair. Well thanks for clearing that up ass. Now another 10 minutes go by and me and my buddies breakfast showed up and the other two haven't even ordered yet. Absolute joke of Service and care. Then all the guy said when bill came, I'll cover one round of drinks. I have been coming here for 25 years and will never return nor will the other three guests that played with me. We will support the Golf and that's it. So sad and in talking to other guests who saw this going down said the service is now horrible. I just hope when Pechenga Resort/Casino takes this over they make big changes here as they are needed ASAP. read more

I had been a little worried about the other reviews saying that this place was outdated. And from the exterior, yeah, it is. But I thought the interior looked updated with a nice bathroom and outside sink area. Perhaps some buildings are not updated(?), since I've read many complaints about the interior looking very old. Apparently many people stay here for weddings and if we had the time, I would've loved to have stayed here to play golf the following morning. We had a nice partial view of the golf course and it was fun to sit outside and just rest before checking out. I was able to push back our checking out time by an hour, which was more than sufficient, as check out was at 11 AM. The person I made a reservation over on the phone was extremely friendly and informative. I used the AAA discount (though the lady didn't even check for it when I checked in), though my parents still thought it to be on the pricier side. I just got back from one night in a double queen. I loved it! I wish we could have stayed longer. Our room had a view of the golf course from a spacious balcony perfect for room service breakfast. My husband surprised me with a weekend here for our 1year anniversary. I've traveled quite a bit and this place was beyond phenomenal. From the staff, to the breathtaking views, to the cleanliness of the rooms; I was quite impressed. It's not a state of the art modern place (like I'm used too) but that's the family like charm of this inn. It has a rustic theme with comfortable furnishings. Our room was HUGE! Included was a comfortable couch, writing table and chairs, a kuerig machine w/tea and coffee packets, large flat screen Tv and dual sinks and luxurious white robes. They even gifted us with a hand written thank you card wishing us the best on our 1yr anniversary and included a bottle of wine. -Where they do that at now days??!! It rained on the 2nd day of our stay, but we woke up to our warm robes and enjoyed a quiet morning taking in the landscaped golf course and lush trees on the wraparound balcony. A much needed break from our hectic schedules. (My hubbies review) The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our stay. They exceeded his expectations. They we're very helpful as this was his first time planning something like this. ALL WE HAD TO DO WAS SHOW UP! Both of us would totally recommend this place for a beautiful escape from the norm. Stayed in room 527 last Saturday night. We had a great time but unfortunately I was bitten by bed bugs! I called this morning simply to let them know and the guy at the front desk told me that he sees fumigation people at the property all the time so he would be surprised if it were bed bugs. I thought that was a strange response, why would they need fumigators so often? Anyway, when I asked if I could speak to a manager he told me that the manager was not there and that I should call back later. I politely asked if he could please take my number and have the manager call me back...he took my number but I never did hear from anyone at the hotel. Me and my fiancé had an anniversary weekend getaway planned that we took time off of work and traveled out of town for. I chose this place to stay. We got in early Friday and enjoyed the day at some local wineries, waiting for the 4pm check-in. About 15-30 mins before check-in the hotel called and asked what time we would be there. My fiancé said about 20 minutes, and they then told us they had OVERBOOKED and could not accommodate us. My fiancé also had a golf tee time booked for the next day on their course, and I planned on enjoying the resort as he golfed. They offered to put us up at a Hilton (3 star rundown place) which was half the cost of this resort. They said we could still check in on Saturday, with no offer for a discount of room stay for the major inconveniences. Especially if the point of booking that place was to enjoy the pool/amenities and not having a room to check into until 4pm the next day isn't quite the relaxing getaway we expected nor was it handled with any type of appropriate customer service that you would except given the cost of this place, not to mention no concern that we had taken work off and traveled here. read more

Food was good, beer was cold. Cons: Only thing I did not like was 5 dollars for 25 balls on the range, a little steep if you ask me. No pitching area. Pros: Free app for the course. We stayed here while wedding planning during Veterans Day weekend. The room was nice with a golf course view, however we did have a couple negative comments. Our TV remote did not allow us to access the TV Guide which isn't a huge issue but an inconvenience for the amount the rooms cost. We also had a shower/bath that had the bottom of it peeling up. There was no slip resistant mat or grip in the tub so my Fiance actually slipped and hit his head on the shower wall but was not seriously injured. read more

The room was big, with a balcony and a view of the golf course. Unfortunately, at 1am, I was awakened by a lady entering my room with a key! I was in a deep sleep and it scared the hell out of me! I turned on the light and told the lady she had the wrong room, but she had a working key and an envelope with my room number on it. After she left, the front desk called and was acting like it was my fault they gave out an occupied room. Thank you again TCI for such a great time. I have a hard time believing some of the bad reviews here aren't due mostly to guests that like to nitpick and complain. The staff is incredibly friendly!! They are quick to welcome you, thank you, wish you well, and start a little conversation with you. Each and every one!! Our rooms were great! We were right by the restaurant with a great view of the golf course from our spacious balconies. We sat out there for a while having a couple drinks and watching the golfers or one of numerous wedding parties walking through a rehearsal. Rooms were large, clean, and had all the amenities you'd need. The restaurant is good. Possibly a little pricey, but you normally pay more at a resort so I get it. We spent a good amount of time in the lounge/bar. Very comfortable and nice to relax. I think the service could be a bit slow due to the fact that all the servers are bartenders too so if you're in a booth and the bar gets crowded the bartenders are stuck at the bar. However, they make sure to get to you as soon as they can and there is nothing stopping you from walking a few steps to the bar. The golf courses are in great shape. We played all three 9 hole layouts. Can get a bit backed up, but hey...it's that time of year. Can't complain about the greens or the fairways. Very nice condition. Overall we had an amazing time!! Our second time here and highly recommend!! Highlights-friendly staff. Kathleen in the bar was great!! Three Churns-a-Charm Flatbread (could have eaten three of those in one sitting!) ***WARNING *** DO NOT book with this hotel. Last weekend I stayed at the hotel, and my car was vandalized and ransacked. When I alerted the staff, they were absolutely unhelpful. They would not come out to look at the car or the damage and they said that "security had already gone home for the day" so if we wanted to we could call in a police report. They didn't seem surprised that the vandalism had happened, they gave me a incident report to fill out and they said a loss prevention officer would call me. 48 Hours have gone by and no call yet. Over $2,000 in damage and stolen goods from the car. Talking to locals in the area they're not surprised. They said that homeless people live in the river bed around the golf course and that they come up and do this type of thing all the time. Do not book with this hotel their management is not structured to take care of any problem you may have. They didn't even offer to buy us a cup of coffee while filled out their stupid report. Totally feel violated, totally ruined our vacation. read more

We made an appointment and came to Temecula Creek in our search for a wedding venue last year. While the grounds are very well maintained, we weren't really feeling the venue itself... if you want a rustic wedding, you will probably LOVE this venue. But for us, it was just a little too rustic... if that's even possible. It's a little strange, but your guests will actually have to be shuttled in a long tram-like golf cart for about 5 minutes from the parking lot to the venue. Once there, it's an all outside area with an empty house nearby where your guests can walk through for food, drop off gifts, hang out, etc. If you're having a spring/summer wedding, your photos should come out bitchin' cause there are quite a few good photo areas nearby. If I remember correctly, the last part of the tour was kind of a weird sandy area with a lot of lounge chairs that looked nice, but just didn't feel right for us. Again, to each their own... this place has a lot of potential and if we would've planned for a rustic wedding, this place would've been a very strong contender! read more

TCI is one of my favorite places. I got married here, so visiting is nostalgic. The grounds are kept well and the atmosphere is beautiful. I agree, the room rates are a little dramatic considering the rooms are somewhat outdated. The last time I stayed my comforter had a LARGE stain on it, which was weird in color and sort of grossed me out. They did give me a $30 credit for my stay, which I thought was nice. I will continue to return for many reasons :). read more

I stayed here for two nights for my best friends wedding back in March. The customer service was great- as my friend bought room service and was served nicely, the front desk was helpful to my couple of questions, and the coordinator for my friends wedding was great. Lots of parking which was a plus. The rooms were very nice :) Had some free coffee for us to make. YUM. The view of the golf course was calming. My friends bridal suite's toilet made a little creepy sound though... haha. In my room though, the beds were comfy, plenty of blankets, thumbs up on the space and bathroom too :) We loved all being in the same long row as our friends so we could go in and out of each others rooms. The place where she got married was absolutely gorgeous. The stone house, the bridge, the walkways, the area to dance, the grass, trees, the scenery- all perfect especially for the couple. What a joyous day it was to celebrate and the perfect venue for them. However, at the gym- only half maybe less than half of the machines were working! The only thing I was able to do was lift the weights that were there. I hope that gets fixed soon! (Only reason it is not 5 Stars!)
