I visited this location on past Friday with a 9:40 tee time. From the moment we arrived, the greeting staff took our bags and provided us a cart to begin our day. We went to the bar and got a few drinks with ice for the round. The course was very well taken care of! There was maintenance being completed but they were very nice when we would hit and go around us without interfering. There was a few hole with really nice views and getting around the course was clear and honestly very fun. The only small issue we had was the cart locking on us randomly but it would usually fix in a few seconds. Overall, a great course with a few hazards. Very fun place to play read more

Still one of the best! Staff at check in is very friendly again, makes for a great start. Bring the carts to your car to load up? Yes!!! A big win. Coolers on cart for your water (or other bev). The course remains in great shape, and the greens are wicked tough, bring your A game, no gimmes here. Restaurant/bar staff are fun and just enough items on the menu at the turn, besides burgers and dogs, enjoy pizza, sammich and more. I'm a local and use the practice range at Redhawk Golf Course about three days a week, but I rarely actually play here--and there are some pretty clear reasons why. The course itself is in okay condition most of the time, but the price you pay doesn't really match what you get. For the green fees they charge, you'd expect a better overall experience. There are several better-value courses in the area that are in similar or better shape. The biggest issue is the staff and overall management culture. Communication is poor, and the team often comes across as uninterested or unreliable. It feels like customer service just isn't a priority. Unfortunately, that attitude tends to set the tone for the whole experience and honestly makes it feel like there may be some deeper ownership or management problems. Pace of play is another major downside. If you play on weekends, be prepared for extremely slow rounds--five to five and a half hours is pretty common. I've also never seen much effort to manage it. Marshals mostly just ride by without addressing slow groups. On top of that, the dress code is posted but rarely enforced, which adds to the sense that course standards aren't really being managed. The range is convenient if you live nearby, which is why I still use it. But when it comes to actually playing a round, I usually go elsewhere. There are simply better options around. read more

I booked a tee time on a Monday for the next Monday. The website said the green fees for 18 holes was $35. I figured they were punching the greens, but for that price I didn't care. Redhawk has become ridiculously overpriced so I figured let's take advantage of a great deal. After I booked I received the confirmation email that stated the time and date I booked for 4 golfers, 18 holes, at $35 dollar green fees. I continued to check the website daily to ensure the green fees were correct. Four days later I received a call from the course stating that there was a mistake and they were punching the greens on the one of the nines, so the $35 fees were for 9 holes and it would be an additional $35 to play the entire 18. I told the gentleman that that was not what the website said and that I double checked before booking that the $35 rate on their website was for a complete round of 18 holes and that I also had a confirmation email stating the same. The gentleman put me on hold for approximately 5 minutes then came back and said that his manager told him that my group had 2 options, pay $35 for 9 holes, $70 for 18, or that they would cancel my tee time all together. I told that this was essentially "bait and switch" and this is illegal. He said this is your option. I ended up canceling the tee time because I was not going to pay extra money for their mistake. Redhawk has always been a golf course that my group plays on a regular basis, but after this it's going to take something special for us to ever go back. read more

Redhawk seems to get a bad name. I hear it is muddy and the course is boring. I think the opposite. There was no mud to be found when we were there. We got the exact tee time we wanted. The course can be about 4 to 5 hours long, but I am not a good golfer. Everyone there was super nice and we felt welcomed. The course was lovely and I loved the little lakes with wild flowers growing. The staff was so nice, they drove us to and from the parking lot. The holes are nice, especially the 8th hole. I think you will love this place. The prices are fair as well so go there. read more

Loved this course. I was very excited to play here, based on several reviews...but then I read the most recent reviews right before we played. Golfers talked about fairways being muddy and course being unkept. Wha? It was terrific! The staff was super helpful in driving us to and from the parking lot. The 8th hole par 3 is one of the prettiest holes in Southern California. We loved it. Played our full round in about 4 hours and 10 minutes. I would recommend it highly. Still uncertain why some reviews were so negative. My only complaint was that the sun did not pop out from behind the clouds until our round was done.... read more

Played last weekend with three of my buddies and we all thoroughly enjoyed Redhawk. The course was fun to play, the greens were challenging, and everything from the fairways to the driving range was neatly maintained, even after heavy rain. What will truly keep me coming back, though, is the customer service. From being greeted in the parking lot by an employee offering a cart ride for me and my clubs, to being thanked multiple times before, during, and after the round, the experience was first class all the way. Pure class from this staff. I'm not even local, but I'm already planning and looking forward to my next round here. read more

The course was a very nice course. Laid out very well. The issue I had was at check-in I wasn't told the back nine was closed. Only found out after playing the front nine. So I expected to play the front nine again but was told by the staff if I wanted to play the front nine again. I would have to pay. On top it all, I drove an hour to get there from Oceanside. I paid online through an app and even from the receipt they gave me it says 18 holes. But was told I had to pay again if I wanted to do 18 holes. read more

We played a small group event and all the tee boxes were closed except one, and the rough was over 6 inches deep. I understand the need to work on the tee boxes and over-seed the course, but considering the current conditions, I expected a discounted rate. Unfortunately, we lost a few balls in the rough, and although we saw the general area, the height of the rough made it difficult to retrieve them. Perhaps the course should provide me with replacements golf balls. read more

Great course, greens and fairways are well taken care of, staff is friendly and accommodating. Quickly becoming one of if not my favorite course in the Inland Empire. The course has Plenty of dog legs and blind shots but also plenty of opportunities to shoot low. Will definitely be back again. read more

We played last week and enjoyed the round very much. The course was well maintained and the staff was super courteous and helpful. The green was fast and very difficult, fairway grass was in tip top condition, and the flowers everywhere were beautiful. Overall, the course was well managed and we were able to finish in a little bit over 4 hours. The weather in the morning was really nice but later in the afternoon wind started blowing and it became a little difficult to manage. We recommend this course very highly. read more

This place is going down hill. The kitchen doesn't open until 9 but the bar is open at 7. Makes no sense. The kitchen closes at 3:30 but the place is open until 5. Food should be served until the place closes. Open the kitchen earlier and have it stay open later. $130 to golf but can't get food. A total rip off read more

I played on 11/20. I usual after booking our tee time, I asked what are the green fees for seniors. When we checked in, the fees were more than I was previously quoted. This was the second time this in a manner of a couple of months. The time, the manager honored the misquote but not this time. We were playing behind some slower golfers and not having a Marshall, it made an unpleasant experience. But, the course itself is a nice track but I don't think we'll return. read more

We had a gathering with a bunch of people coming from different places, only to find out that the tee boxes were going to be gathered on one tee box the whole round and that it was cart path only. First time playing this course and was excited for the experience but it was not to be. The course was in terrible shape and even though it was just after a few days of rain the course obviously had other issues before the rain. Maybe half the greens were like 200-300 yard bunkers. Leaves were everywhere like it hadn't been cleared in weeks. How do you hit your ball in the fairway and not find your ball becaise the leaves are everywhere. The greens fees were $80 and not that expensive but not cheap either. Would I come back? Probably not. read more

Not worth the money to play at this course. Also, not fun playing golf getting harassed by a starter when you're on track for pace of play. Don't order food there. One of the guys in my group ordered a quesadilla, and a box of fries came out. He thought his quesadilla was at the bottom but it was just fries and when he was going to say something to the guy who brought the food he grabbed the fries and said they were for someone else after two guys already put their hands in the box. Nice course but very mismanaged. I use to golf here every week, but today will be my last for a while. High school groups in front of us made the front 9 take 4 hours. We kept getting warnings and alerts about the 45-1hr behind time on the carts. The Marshall didn't really do much even after being notified. After walking past the bunkers, I took the time to rake them, as they were all jacked up from no one fixing them. No one fixed their divots on the greens. Then, one of the high schoolers collapsed and backed it up even more. The workers routed us back to hole 1 where it was backed up even more. Our whole group just left. read more

Redhawk is a very well kept course. It can be exceptionally challenging if you stray from the fairway. The greens were very well maintained. Golf carts looked brand new the day we played. You are not allowed to take the carts to the parking lot. This makes for a long way to schlep your clubs. My tip is to drop them off and then park if you're trusting. Green fees are spendy here, we came in on Golf Now price of $30. Usually they're in the $40 -50 range. They have a nice pro shop with the usual hats and shirts. Didnt use the driving range so no info for you on that other than they have one. Nice grill on site to enjoy a sandwich or burger after your game. They cook steaks outside and it smells so good when you're making the turn. read more

I don't often post reviews but felt this course needed a more recent opinion. I live in Temecula but haven't played here in a while because of the negative reviews. Played 18 holes today and the course is in excellent shape. Greens were recently punched and in great condition. Fairways and rough are good too. New carts are due in next week with GPS (finally!). Hopefully they don't raise the rates next. Always a great layout and challenging but a fun course. Maintenance crews were all over the course so they are obviously putting more care into it. Hopefully they can keep it that way into the winter months. read more

Terrible experience. Customer service was below par. Condition was terrible. There is no fairway. The fairway is all mud! It's unplayable right now. We asked for half our refund but they gave us half credit instead... now we have to come back and play this sh**** condition course with sh**** customer service. Pay the extra money and go to Journey instead. read more

The course is decent and the food is decent. I had a great time with my friends but the issue I have with this course is, I left my range finder in my cart, left the parking lot l, went back to get my range finder, and was told they did not see it on the cart. I have a magnet on my range finder and now left it on the cart bar. I am not happy that it was stolen by the staff and will not be returning to this course. read more
