Moving from San Diego to a smaller area like this, I thought I couldn't find fresh Iranian style bread anymore. Behold, Yelp lead me to this market with fresh Barbari bread (oval shaped Iranian bread with seseme seeds). The owners are very nice and welcoming. I was able to get hot out of the oven bread and my favorite Danish feta. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the grocery store side of the store was quite small and I had to turn sideways to navigate through items. Me and my mom just moved away from Orange County, where we were used to going to Persian grocery stores to get food we miss from Romania. But in Temecula, our favorite foods were difficult to find If you are from Eastern Europe, this small family owned store is a godsent, especially since there aren't any other stores that import food from Eastern Europe or similar foods from the Middle East in the area. They have Bulgarian Feta, eggplant and tomato spread similar to zacuscă/ajvar, French biscuits I grew up with (Faurre), and fantastic fresh flat bread. If you grew up with Turkish flatbread, this is similar, but bigger. The owner is very kind, welcoming, and happy to help you. I am sad because I do not like to post bad reviews about small businesses but I really had the worst experience ever, this is my second time to visit this place, a year ago when I moved to the area , I went there and the man who was there whenever I asked about something replied by saying that no one sells this item in the USA and I did not find the things I wanted So I was ofended he was fooling me as I moved from Rancho Cucamonga and I used to buy these items from the local market and the big one in Claremont!!! So I switched to the other Restaurant who sells the same thing on Jefferson too. Then I found a post about the place saying that they changed the owner and they have more varieties now so I gave it another try. I bought lot of items and paid $203 . Went home and found that the Karish cheese smells extremely bad with mold,I also ordered the pistachio mortadella, found it cut in two different brand, the bottom is fresh pink , the top is dark with brownish edges! I called them and they said to bring them back, I went back to the place and that was the shock! They treated me bad claiming that they gave me the best things and I even told the lady smell the cheese, can you feed your kids with that!!! She said ok I will refund you , she said that she weighed the item and wrote some estimate refund as I had already removed the bag it was in .The receipt is not detailed and it just shows the total amount so there is no way to know the real amount I paid for each item. When I got back home , I had to look back in my trash to bring the plastic bags they have wrote the prices on for the Deli and I found out that I paid more than what they refunded me! I understand that mistakes sometimes happen but I can not tolerate dishonesty!! read more

My uncle and I went to the market to buy some Afghan bread and Afghan food for iftar. I was a bit iffy to even try it out because there is nothing like authentic Afghan food unless it's made at home or in Afghanistan. We bought Afghan bread which was actually super yummy, Afghan plates with chicken and beef, and baloney. The baloney comes with potatoes or with gandana in it and you can choose if it is spicy or not. The employees are very friendly and welcoming. They show true Afghan hospitality. My first time here. I ordered 2 different types of kabobs for dinner. Their food is afghani and on the spicy side but very good. They bake fresh bread to order. And their bread is delicious. The owner is very kind and very helpful. I told him it was my first time there and he spent a few minutes telling me what they offer. The dinners are very reasonably priced as well. It's a great choice for take out in Temecula if you're craving middle Eastern food. There were several people in front of me waiting to pay. The owner offered to carry a customers groceries to her car and she said she was fine. He offered again. It was very nice to witness that. Even with a line he cared about each and every customer. There are only a couple of tables outside to sit down so it's more of a carry out type of a place. We will def be back! read more

My husband who is part Middleastern was complaining a few months ago that he can't seem to find middleastern ingredients around. I did my part by searching and searching. Up until this store was opened, we would get our middleastern spices and breads from the farmer's market or driving to LA for them, but now this place is just a few miles from our house. It makes it so much easier for us! They also serve halal pizza and breads, so stop in here for pre-prepped meals as well. I recently got the pistacchio nougat to enjoy at home.
