My husband was suffering from a toothache on Sunday and was traveling for business Monday morning. After calling several offices Dr. Murphy was the only office that returned my call. She asked a few question and was so concerned with my husband traveling with a toothache. She let me know she was just finishing up lunch with friends and could meet us at her office in two hours. Yes, she charged an after hour fee but I was grateful for her coming in on a Sunday when she was already out for the day. There is not a dentist I trust more than Dr. Murphy. She treats my husband and I and today treated my oldest son for the first time after outgrowing his pediatric dental office. She explains things clearly but not condescendingly. She has installed two crowns in my mouth and I haven't had anymore issues with those teeth since. Her hygienists are also great. I had a large filling that came out of a molar. I was a cash patient, so I had to go back to someone I could trust. I knew I could count on Dr Murphy for she is thorough and knows what she is doing. She listened carefully to my concerns and referred me to an orthodontist for more specialized care, which I greatly appreciate. When I have had the chance to speak with Dr. Murphy she had seemed helpful, however has since been dodging phone calls or the office staff is just that awful. Had an issue that required the Office Manager. She was very under qualified to handle the situation. Scheduling policy is a joke and a bit of a hassle. A family member of mine had such a bad experience that they prepaid for a treatment that they do not plan on returning for. Owner and managing dentist is clearly somewhat newer to practice ownership and does not realize that a lot of her work would be alleviated if she would have a proper leadership team in place. Best piece of advice here is ...There is a dental office on every corner the reason we choose to go to one over another is our experience. Client experience is analyzed and delivered via a proper management team with experience and industry knowledge. To simply practice Dentistry is not enough. read more

I just moved to Temecula and had a loose crown and a broken crown. I was so fortunate to have picked Temecula Ridge Dentistry. The front office assistant gave me an appointment to get xrays and evaluated. Dr. Murphy gave me a comprehensive plan and was able to put me back together and even split the costs over 3 visits. I first went to Dr Murphy during COVID. She was one of the few dentists who remained open for emergency care. I was grateful to have a painful crown situation taken care. Since then my husband and I have done our regular maintenance as well as more dental work. In the past I've had dental anxiety however feel a little of that now as she is so compassionate, competent and I've never experienced pain. I visited Dr. Murphy's office to get a second opinion. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming and efficient from the start. Dr. Murphy listened to my series of recent issues with my mouth. The DDS I visited before Dr. Murphy was quick to tell me to get a root canal, though his x-rays were not taken on an angle that showed the root. Dr. Murphy's staff took a series of x-rays that revealed a root canal did not appear to be a pressing issue, so much as the cavity behind that tooth. As a cash patient her prices were very fair. She took care of my cavity, which turned out to be fairly large! I am so thankful Dr. Murphy's office took the time to be thorough! My issues have resolved since getting the large cavity addressed. My front left veneer fell off on a Friday night when biting into a piece of bread. There was some blood and swelling and I was freaked out because I had to climb on an airplane the following Monday to meet with a huge client. I placed the veneer in a container and started doing my research online. After searching online for a cosmetic dentist and looking at the reviews I was incredibly relieved to find Temecula Ridge Dentistry who was able to get me in on Saturday. The wait was minimal and her office staff greeted me with respect and kindness. When Dr. Murphy came in and instroduced herself I knew I was in good hands. She is an excellent cosmetic dentist who was able to reinstall my veneer quickly, painlessly and with total professionalism. Her ability to put me at ease and get my smile back in order made me feel awesome! The price was extremely reasonable and I highly recommend her! read more

My wife came here for a root canal and unfortunately we didn't have insurance. My main area for the one star was that we were quoted one price and it kept increasing. She quoted us for the root canal but then she'd constantly say oh this is now needed and this each time she'd come back and say that wasn't included in the original estimate. It was nothing special a root canal with a temporary crown and then a permanent one. I don't know why she couldn't be up front with us but it ended up being about three times of the original estimate. The larger issue is my wife a year later had to go back to the dentist this time with insurance and still pay a ton because apparently the root canal was done incorrectly!!!! So she had to get it corrected. Horrible experience wouldn't go back for anything. Do not recommend going here at all. read more

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. Please tell me why with in the first 2 visits, my wife and I have forked over $1,500 on our out of pocket costs? I'm in one of the best unions in the world and have great insurance. But these staff that work here just rack up charges and push sales so hard! They told my wife that she has severe gum disease and that she needs special molded trays to treat it. Those trays cost us $900 out of pocket and this was on her 2nd visit. Then they told me I have bad gum disease and got me to pay for some special syringe of medicine for my gums. I'm sorry but after 2 visits and $1500.00, they have scared us away they are so pushy with sales and appointments. Also they feel like they can reschedule your appointments last minute to their benefit. But if you miss or can't reschedule your appointment within 48 hours they charge you $50. But when you try to call to reschedule within 48 hours they don't answer or are not very happy when you do so. Sorry but this dentist is not for the patient. They are out for getting those checks in. read more

Like other yelpers I was brought here by their teeth whitening promotion and I am soooo glad I was. This place is just fantastic! The office is very clean and modern. They offer Saturday appointments which I greatly appreciate. My very first visit I received X-rays and was fitted for the teeth whitening trays (included in promotion.) I think Dr Murphy is so great and very personable. She greeted me upon first arriving and I thought it was so cool the way she was very patient with her staff and even helping and training one girl while doing my exam. I immediately had much respect her after seeing this as you will encounter many doctors who are "too good for the world", rude and impatient with their staff. Lisa gave me the most incredible and through teeth cleaning I've ever had. I was in and out easily. For my second visit I received my trays and whitening gel. Nikki took such good care of me. Very sweet and informative and did a wonderful job educating me on the whitening process. You can tell she genuinely cares for their patients and does her job very well! I was able to have this appt on my lunch hour and when receiving my trays they had to make an adjustment. instead of having me wait my whole lunch hour Sabrina offered to fix the issue and just let me stop by after work on my way home. They are SO considerate , detail oriented and genuinely treat you like a welcomed guest. I spent much time trying to find a dentist who will pay attention to our needs and wouldn't require a second mortgage on the house to pay for dental care. Dr. Murphy and staff are amazing. They pay attention to detail, and I appreciate the friendly and competent way they take care of us. The best part is the personal touch Dr. Murphy provides. Previously trying Temecula Bridge Dentistry I hadn't been to the dentist for around 18 months. The last dentist I attended was just trying to up- sale and trying to make me believe just about all my teeth needed fixing or replacing. At the time of this review a full exam is is less than $50. My old dentist had a $15 copay anyway. The treatment here was much better in my opinion. Amber, the hygenist was very gentle and kind. My wife had some issues with her teeth. We have only HMO insurance. Dr. Murphy is a PPO dr. We found it just as inexpensive to pay cash and use Dr Murphy as it was to use the HMO dentist. Dr. Murphy is very personable, professional, and does great work. read more

Let me start off by saying that I have not been to a dentist in well past 20 years. I checked around for recommendations for a personal dentist who was not only great as a dentist but would also be able to manage my situation with my not having been to a dentist in such an extraordinarily long time. I was not looking for some big dental group where you are just another body and you are moved through their system nearly mechanically without them really even being able to know you and treat you personally or where they just want to make money off of you. I also didn't want someone who would take advantage of me for not having been to a dentist in soooooooo long and tell me I needed a ton of bogus procedures just to make more money. Now, I honestly DID expect that I would have a few serious issues that would need to be addressed, but I've heard the horrible stories of so many people being told they need massive amounts of dental work or highly expensive dental work that they never actually needed. The ENTIRE staff at Temecula Ridge who work with Dr. Murphy was outstanding! EVERY SINGLE ONE I came into contact with that day treated me not only like a person and not a number, but they did not treat me like I was just a way to make money. They made me feel comfortable about every thing they were doing. The HONESTY of Dr. Murphy and her staff at the end of the day absolutely was a great massive cherry on top of an overall GREAT experience from the moment I entered their office. Dr. Murphy could have told me I needed extensive and expensive work done since it had been so long since I'd had dental care and I would have completely believed her!! She did not take advantage of my situation at all and no one there shamed me or made me feel badly about not receiving dental care sooner. When I first started going to Dr. Murphy I was happy enough. But then I had a nightmare experience with her and her office, and no one seemed to give a crap about it. I woke up one Monday with a throbbing in my jaw that made my eyes water. I called her office to get an appointment but got voice mail. I left a message, asking for an emergency appointment. No one called all day. That evening, I sent her e-mail---one to her Yahoo account and one through her Web service. Still no response. I kept calling throughout the week. Nothing. I e-mailed intermittently. NOTHING. The pain was unreal but I couldn't get a hold of her and I had to keep working so I couldn't get to the office. I finally drove there on Saturday morning, explained to the receptionist what I had been going through, and the moron scheduled me for the following Thursday! Seriously. I told her no, I've been waiting all week, and I want to see Dr. Murphy today. They squeezed me in, I got some antibiotics to stop the throbbing, and I told Dr. Murphy about the issues getting in touch with her office. She kind of smirked and said, "Oh, do you have Frontier phone service? Yeah, for some reason we don't get messages from people with Frontier." That's got to be one of THE stupidest excuses I've heard, so I asked if she got my e-mails. "Yes. Didn't the receptionist contact you? I'm surprised." You're surprised?! That's it? A patient is in pain, trying to reach you for DAYS, and you're surprised that your office ignored said patient? At this point, all I can say is I am very glad to have found someone PROFESSIONAL to handle my dental needs. I would never go back to this office. read more

Awesome Experience. I am one of those that hates going to the dentist! I found Dr Murphy by purchasing a whitening kit for my teeth at a discounted price. My old dentist moved so I no longer have one, But now I do indeed have a new dentist. Everyone was extremely friendly. Fantastic dentists are few and far between especially when they have patients who suffer from anxiety or dental phobia. I am one of those patients. The staff was wonderful, they listened to my fears, my past experiences, and moat of all they made me feel like I wasn't crazy or taking up too mich of their time. Dr. Murphy explained in both medical and laymen terms. She educated me on what needed to happen for the right now. She said after I heal and have sometime I can come back for a routine cleaning and then we'll discuss a game plan. I wanted to provide an update since my last visit back in 2016. Dr. Murphy is now our primary dentist for the entire family. My husband is extremely happy with the new crowns that is he getting. Dr. Murphy is such a great lady, she builds rapport with people so easily! Prices are much better too. The office calls insurance to make sure you know exactly what it will cost and there is no surprises. Love it. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well my daughter did during the visit. She is only 6, so as mom you always worry and want to make sure kids are not afraid of doctors.. As soon as my little one popped in the chair I heard her and doctor chatting about school and things she did over the summer..I think my girl didn't even realize she came to see a doctor, her visit went great and she told me she would love to come back..Finding a doctor who bonds with your kids really makes a huge difference in how willing they are to come back to get any dental work done. Recently I had a tooth pain and wasn't sure how soon I would be able to get in to be seen. I was amazed when I called and was able to speak to dr. Murphy right away. To my surprise she remembered my name..and she said "oh yes, that must be your number #19 tooth"....which it was... as I found out when I was able to be seen same day! Even though Dr. Murphy was closing at 6 she still made time to see me right at close.. As I was leaving the office it was late and dark in outside so the doctor kept the front door open just to make sure I get to my car safely. Incredible experience. I've never really been comfortable in a dentist's office - I knocked my 2 front teeth out when I was 8 and still remember the experience in the chair. I have to admit that Dr. Murphy as a way with people, she certainly calmed my fears. I'm sorry, I don't remember the name or the young lady who cleaned my teeth, but she was gentle and pleasant.
