Used to be very good. But something happened during summer time for unknown reason. They went to rental property I managed to repair AC. Yelling to tenant without any reason. Tenant called me about the yelling thing and AC still didn't work after repairing. I called Temp Tech and they asked me to pay because they spent time to repair regardless it is still not working. Devin came out quickly and diagnosed the problem - bad motor. He had the part on his truck and installed the new motor. We had heat again within the hour. Timely, enthusiastic, and professional to a T, Lenny and his crew worked together to save us from freezing. I called Temp Tech on a Sunday near the recent holidays, as our furnace was making some very odd noises, and Lenny came out and quickly diagnosed the issue (essentially recommending a full furnace replacement, as ours was 23 years old). Lenny detailed out the different furnaces that he recommended as a replacement, as well as details, differences in costs, and additional options. He was also able to book a crew to come in and install the new furnace the following Saturday, which was very convenient, as my wife and I both work. When the crew arrived, all of them were very professional, and definitely showed their enthusiasm for the job. They were very willing to answer questions, and were very respectful of our family and our house. Furthermore, after the installation, they explained in detail what processes I needed to take on to keep the furnace in shape, which was very welcome. They also stayed later than expected to ensure that a series of tests was done on our new furnace / thermostat. Called them out yesterday January 10, 2017 to install my new nest thermostat. Charger me 99$ and left. Next day we decovered the furnace was cycling on and off every 2 minutes. So we called to have them come back out. The owner called back and yelled at me. I never raised my voice, I never asked for my money back, I was trying to get them to come out and do more work, I would have paid more money if they found out I needed something else. I couple quotes for you reference. "I did you a god dam favor installing that thermostat. You should call nest it is not my problem. I have no time for f***ing ignorant people. Turned out have a cracked heat exchanger, joke is on them I am buying a new furnace from another company and they never once yelled at me when Iasked them to come out and look at my furnace. read more

They do not deserve even one star. They did a wrong diagnosis that my fan motor was blown (which I confirmed with a second opinion). They did not want to refund any money and started yelling when I was trying to sort it out fairly. Do not engage with this company at any cost. They are incompetent and unprofessional. read more

My furnace still had heat problem after I had service call and paid $481.00 to technician Lenny for replace a control disc. I called back to Lenny. He told me to fix heat problem that I have to pay him in addition of $500.00 to replace another parts. There is no work guarantee. read more

Former employee of Temp Tech and now owner, Joe Doyle, was a great assistance as a employee of Temp. Tech. as he was willing to work on the side. Now as the owner, he has progressed into not understanding business and how it is run and developed. Joe referred a friend to assist with a bathroom remodel I was doing, wanted someone who knew plumbing to feel more secure about what I was sealing behind a wall I didn't want to have to reopen if I did it incorrectly. We, as any good home owner would, haggled with this referral over price for plumbing and separate price if he wanted to stay and help with tiling. He could have just done the plumbing and walked, but he agreed to the price. We also knew neighbors that were in need of his services. So as part of the pricing was we would secure additional work for him, and we got neighbor to hire him to the tune of up to several thousands of dollars in his pocket. I did all the tile cutting with my wet saw, bought all the materials, cleaned up afterwords and prepared the work area for the following days work and once tub was installed and first 3 courses of tile was set in the shower, I completed the job (I would estimate that I did approx. 70% of the work). The referral was always late and frequently left early as he did not have a car. Make no mistake, he was helpful and I trust his plumbing. However he isn't the most reliable contractor. Unfortunately, as most independent contractors aren't reliable. Thus brings me back to Temp. Tech. and Joe Doyle. I am now in need of a new furnace, coils and A/C condenser. Right up Joe's alley, now owner of Temp. Tech. I asked him price for install if I purchased the furnace, coils and condenser. Joe does this work but won't warranty the equipment...understood, but wouldn't warranty his labor as well. This set me back a little, but it was what he wanted to discuss that really caught me off guard. He wished to discuss how we treated his referral a year ago on low balling the pricing and that the referral had called him to complain. Joe advised that "I don't appreciate that treatment of someone he referred. Maybe you should chose a different HVAC company" I thanked him for his time a hung up the phone. I am not one that is going to explain the above mentioned work by his referral stated above or that we secured his referral additional work. Joe chose to be a "Big Man", now that he's the owner, and behave as an employee rather that a business owner. Taking the opinion of an unreliable referral and not attempting to hear the other side of the story is a demonstration of a arrogant and rookie business person. In this service industry, as in many, word of mouth is golden. Passing up work in this economy also demonstrates Joe's lack of understanding of how to treat customers. I will never be referring Temp. Tech., and will advise against if asked about them or if someone was going to use their services. Top down, they are unprofessional. Keep in mind, it was OK to steal work from the owner when he was an employee, but now as the owner, how would he feel. Indicator of character and professionalism to begin with and now he choose this path; I wouldn't use them because of unclear path they would take if asked to stand by their work. read more

Can't even give this company one star! They are inept and unprofessional. Came to vacant property of ours to fix a heating issue. They took over a hour to figure out it was the batteries in our thermostat. We had them do a service call anyway. They didn't put the jumpers in the right spot and because of that my air conditioning unit is running in the winter time... and may burn out the compressor. We asked the owner to check this out and he agreed (in a very aggressive and defensive manner). Long and short ... he has never gone to the house to check. But he has called numerous times to harass us to pay the bill (within the first 30 days of the billing cycle!). He is unprofessional, yelling, and hanging up on us when we are trying to get this matter settled. So rude and unprofessional. Wouldn't have my worst enemy use this guy! read more

Since I've used them in the past with great results, I called them last night when my furnace stopped working. He offered to come out that night but I said we could wait until the next morning. He came out today and repaired the furnace quickly, cleaned it and serviced the humidifier. Everything work great! Great service, reasonably priced. I write this review with a sense of sadness. I've been using the services of Temp Tech for over ten years. The owner generally is a good person. I called up this evening 8/17/2016 to report a problem with the air conditioning. The company was just here on 7/19/2016 which they cleaned the unit and checked cooling fluid - 'Freeze-on'. When I called to explain the problem, when un-characteristically the owner went very negative. "I'm not coming out for there for free!' As a consumer, it REALLY hurts to feel like 10 years of loyalty means nothing to companies in today's competitive economy. So now a small business loses a loyal customer and the consumer is left to fend for themselves. :( read more
