We decided to try a new Indian place that opened here. We were near Tempe Lake and this place was not far. We went and ordered there through kiosk (that's the only option for onsite). A good amount of vendors available there overall. However, this place feels shady. Food gets delivered late as well and especially if you order from multiple vendors in same order like we did from 3 of them. The food tasted good but that again which vendor did you select. This place is more for food delivery needs and not a place to dine-in.

Quite an interesting spot. Tempe Food Court is a modern concept called a "Ghost Kitchen". Ghost Kitchens are popping up all around the USA, and they boast around 30 restaurants under one roof. Kind of like when I was in school, and I'd be offered different cafeteria options. Typically, these places are takeout only, but there was a cozy dining room with a selfie wall and even some board games to play while waiting for your food. The staff was friendly, and we ordered from 3 different restaurants on the tablet. These restaurants ranged from good to pretty mediocre. From the outside of this place looks like someone's house, and it kind of does on the inside as well. Definitely more confusing than the traditional food courts at malls, but it seems this type of thing is the new normal.

This was quite the experience for me. I enjoy my in person interactions when I'm out and this was not that. Upon entering the first space which felt like a mall food court, there are kiosk stands where one would place their order. There is a great selection of food and a vegan specific 'restaurant' available. (Heads up if you mapped this out and search vegan places, it may show up as a vegan spot but it's not all vegan) To continue, one places their order, receives a receipt and text about how long food will take. Then head into the next room, an even smaller food court, to wait. There is a simple water stand with small cups, bathrooms and plenty of seating. When the food is ready you will be notified and someone will place the food on the counter. Eat and enjoy! The human interaction was about 5 seconds of my visit. A woman handed my bag and walked away. So I cannot say much about service. The food was tasty and filling. Not bad. Not great. Would visit again if nothing else was open.

Interesting concept. You can order online or at the food court. The business share the kitchen and when your order is ready you get a text and pick up at the counter. It seems like this place is more geared towards take out however we sat and ate there. They have multiple tables and the ambiance is nice. I ordered tikka shack which I've tried before. Service was okay. I don't live near the area otherwise I might stop more often. It's a millennials dream to have as little human interaction while ordering food lol.

This place has been getting wrecked on Yelp and so I was not sure if I wanted to try it. But I'm glad I did, it seems they have worked out some of the kinks that people previously reported about a year ago. This place is essentially a ghost kitchen model for various businesses. They cater to delivery app orders, however they do direct customer orders as well. I don't use delivery apps so I've ordered from Tempe food court directly. So far I've tried 2 of the restaurants. I've eaten at Tikka Shack and Solar Vegan Eatery. I have ordered 3 ways- from their website, through Yelp, and in person on the tablet. Their webpage states: "Discover Options- We believe hungry customers shouldn't have to settle for one cuisine. Enjoy fresh new flavors from our rotating collection of multicultural restaurants. Eat Local- Many of our restaurateurs are first-time Arizona entrepreneurs with a passion for bringing their community together around food. Order Direct- Delivery apps can keep up to 30% in commission. When you order from Tempe Food Court, your money goes straight to the restaurant, not a delivery app." So this review is of the places I've tried and my overall experience of Tempe Food Court. I can't speak to all the options they have. Pros: - varied food choices. - Tikka Shack is tasty, ordered from them twice. - Solar is a decent Vegan option. - it's a good concept that helps small business restaurants launch themselves with lower overhead and it's a way for established restaurants to open another location, also again with lower overhead. - food is ready quickly. About 15 minutes from time of order to pickup. They send text messages for when it's ready for pick-up. Cons: - I confused the entrance of food delivery workers and the area for non delivery app customer orders/ pick-up. So, you need to pay attention for the first time you arrive. (You can pick up from both sides however the delivery side has a bunch of lockers and a tablet to sign in. Whereas the customer side has a waiting area and large dining room, and is of course "more cute" and a person greeted me for pickup). - Solar Vegan Eatery was tasty and provided large portions but damn it was expensive! I spent just about $50 for 2 people for essentially diner style food. I thought it was tasty but I wouldn't order from them again due to the price point.

Unfortunately a lot of overpriced food at one location and it's not really a food court it is more of a bunch of restaurants you order from an electronic menu....and there are a few tables in that area if you want to eat it there but seems like it was more made to go... Somebody else arrived here as I was reading the thing and they were like what is this...I told them order from this tablet and I think somebody brings it out....they were like this isn't what I thought I said me neither and I left and that other group of people left at the same time.

GHOST KITCHEN! WHO KNEW?! This whole concept is so crazy I love it! For those that do not know, this is a pick up/order delivery "food hall" where you can order from up to 50 different restaurants. I read some of the negative but didn't have any of the issues. I did my order online and got a text immediately saying that my order was received and would be ready in 20 minutes. All off it was true! This trip I ordered from Moonbowls and got a yummy Korean Bowl. While there I was told they have outdoor ordering and seating now. Will have to try that next time! When in Tempe and need quick food, order from Tempe Food Court- eat local!

We came in search of the Hawaiian Bros ... and dole whip. Unfortunately they don't have that at this location but this food court concept is really interesting! The food court is found in what feels like an industrial area of Tempe, and looks like it was an old school or office building... easy to miss if you're not watching the map. I imagine this place was created to meet the growing needs of Uber eats options in the area because it feels like one of those ghost kitchen concepts. As many have mentioned, you walk in and place your order on a kiosk. Then hang out until your order is ready. High top seating is available. My order was ready in less than 5 minutes and they brought it right out to me. Would love to try other spots here at some point!

This place has an unusual location in the middle of industrial district South of Tempe Marketplace. It does have its own parking lot. There are some photos already of the ordering area. The problem here is that if you do not order ahead of time with Grubhub or Uber Eats then it is difficult to order and it takes along time to get the food. We walked in and tried to order which was difficult and then the order took over 30 minutes. The Food Court needs to make ordering more efficient. We ordered food from Santos Japanese Fuzion. The menu is small but the options are creative and taste great. The surfer roll was excellent and everything else was as expected. Bottom line food was very good but need to improve the ordering process for the Food Court

On Saturday, Dec. 12th, I ordered dinner via Grub Hub from Umami Tokyo Curry at Tempe Market Court. (Please see my review for Umami.) Tucked away in an industrial area is an older building that hosts several food kitchens that cater to take out only. Similar to "Kitchen United" in Scottsdale this ghost kitchen is giving Tempe mom and pop restaurateurs opportunities and exposure! Some want to test out a new food item, test a new concept or grow business from their food truck. The parking lot was bustling with Grub Hub/Door Dash drivers but is easy to navigate when picking up the order yourself. I enjoyed the cuisine last Saturday so much, that I'm looking forward to returning and supporting the other local businesses as well!

I order a cucumber roll with available and edamame it took 45 mins to get my order there was no one in the bldg and I asked several times no response just said it was coming I politely asked for a refund or a discount. And response as no

Apparently this is a thing!!! That I didn't know about, Ghost Kitchens preparing food exclusively Togo or for food delivery services like Grubhub, Postmates, and Doordash. GENIUS!!! The Tempe food court is located in an industrial area, but don't be discouraged the food options are plentiful for all tastes, dietary restrictions or preferences. The Tempe food court has at least 2 dozen different restaurant kitchens that you can order from a kiosk in the lobby and pay for it with your CC. Wait a few moments in the pick up area, they call your name for you to pick up the order. In the first lobby there are tables and chairs if you wanted to stay and done there or you can take it home to enjoy. The other option of course is to order from your favorite food delivery service but then you don't get to experience this cool building and friendly staff. Restaurant hours vary with some offering only breakfast and others available late night only. One way to describe this concept is like one big food truck festival in one location. Try a little bit of this and that until your satisfied. We need one of these where I live! Check this place out in person, support local small business as often as possible. Enjoy!
