I truly am a fan of good down to earth coffee. I find Pete's down the road to have great cold brew, but F*^k bud. This is some fine coffee, truly do recommend it. Not to mention the staff is warm and inviting. The atmosphere is trendy, which is what Folsom and ELDO is all about. I love this place already!! I walked in and a gentleman grabbed my attention by showing me the menu and recommending a drink. I went with an Iced Latte with Oat Milk and my best friend went with a Mexican Mocha, and we both loved our drinks. The sweet girl at the register with the awesome VW beetle tat really enticed us with getting a zucchini walnut muffin and boy it was delicious! I remember the first time I sipped on Temple was at one of their shops in downtown Sacramento (they have several locations). I thought it was love at first sip and always made time to grab a cup when visiting the area. Now that I recently re-located to Folsom, I was sooo happy to see there was a Temple so close by to where I live. The coffee shop had a bit of a different look to the store compared to the other Temples I've been to - in a good way. There are plenty of tables to study and get some work done, both indoor and outdoor. Baristas are all wonderful and super knowledgeable! Service is always great. Pastries are amazing but I'm a huge fan of their coffee selection. My go-to's are: Iced Honey Cinnamon Latte with oatmilk, Iced Brown Sugar Matcha Latte with oatmilk, and/or Iced Honey Cinnamon Matcha with oatmilk. There's plenty of parking in the area. Overall, BEST coffee in Folsom - a must if you're in the area! read more

I guess it was an off day. Went around noon, only one customer waiting. Three workers looked up as I walked in and just looked back down. No hellos. First time so I was confused how to order. I was about to walk up to the register by mistake and the blond girl with a pony tail just stared at me so i went back to the other end where I saw the other customer. Usually you order and pay at the register first. They finally take my order. I asked for my drink to be sweetened, sign said .85 cents(?) for syrup, whatever, annoyed blond pony tail girl says what kind, I said simple syrup, and then I walk down to the register. I hear some snickering and something about simple syrup. I ignored it. Second girl rings me up and walks way. Another girl makes my order. I get my drink and it's not sweetened but i let it be. No wonder I didn't get charged for syrup. I ordered a cappuccino and there was barely any foam, was bitter, and had no latte art. I think I'll pass for next time. read more

I have and always will be a fan of Temple Coffee Roasters. I have never been disappointed with any of the locations and I am so happy there is now one in Folsom! I always buy my beans here because 1. They are super fresh, 2. They are super delicious & 3. They have a super bean card (ok not what it's called but it's like a punch card and for every few bags of beans you buy you get a bag free!) I love supporting local coffee shops and roasters and definitely recommend Temple to all of my friends. My favorite drink here is their Mexican Mocha - perfect sweetness and perfect espresso flavor. Oh. My. Goodness. I need one right now. The baristas are all very pleasant and informative and know how to strike up a conversation without making it awkward. Best coffee I've had in the Folsom area so far! My dad recently moved to the area and this place had stellar reviews so I drove a bit out of the way to come here. I was not disappointed. My dad got an undertow (look it up, order it if you want to make friends with the baristas) and I got a vanilla latte. We ended up coming back again the next day because the vibe and quality of the coffee was fantastic. I didn't spend too much time in the shop itself but a lot of people were working or studying there (inside and outside), so could be a place I will hang out in the future when I visit the area again soon. Temple Coffee Roaster is my favorite coffee roaster in the Sacramento area. This is a third wave of coffee roaster focused on quality offering classic espresso drinks and a variety of small batch roasts. I prefer Temple coffee over Blue Bottle, Stumptown coffee, intelligentsia, and Sightglass. My favorite roast is Dharma which starts with a dark chocolate flavor and ends with a cherry flavor profile. Don't expect mocha frappuccino with a cherry on the top because you shouldn't be here to get sugar drinks. Come here for a wonderful latte or cappuccino, try not to put any sugar, and take in the true flavor of a well-roasted coffee. read more
