Had a great experience shopping at this store and so far loving the mattress we bought. Went in with my husband and toddler a few months ago. Greg helped us, and helped us figure out exactly what we needed. He was super helpful in explaining how a mattress and pillow configuration can help relieve pressure points on your body. My husband's a side sleeper and I'm a back sleeper, and somehow we were also able to figure out one mattress for both of us after trying a few. It was also great because they use disposable liners on every mattress that we tried, and the store is pretty much toddler-proof. My toddler had a fun time carrying all the dolls from bed to bed, pretending each one was sleeping which really let us relax a little. So far we're really happy with the mattress after 3 months, and it does feel like we're getting a better night's sleep. Thank you Greg!! read more

The customer service here is amazing! My review is specifically for Greg who was so knowledgeable and helpful. We had a day of visiting various mattress stores and Greg was by far the best individual we encountered. When we walked in, he asked us if we had any issues sleeping. I mentioned that I tossed and turned a lot. He immediately pointed out that my pillow and mattress setup wasn't right. I never even thought about this - I always thought I was just that kind of tossing/turning sleeper! He picked out two pillows for my boyfriend and I to use while we were trying mattresses. According to Greg, a pillow is 25% of the support - if a pillow doesn't feel right, then a mattress won't feel right. I have to agree whole heartedly with this because he picked out a low pillow for me and it felt AMAZING. I had been using high, fluffy pillows my whole life and I never realized it was causing me issues! I am a side sleeper, but I needed a low pillow since I have a smaller frame. We tried three mattresses and laid on two of them multiple times. For every mattress Greg laid out a paper sheet to lay on so it felt clean. None of the other mattress stores laid out this sheet or picked out custom pillows for us. (...I'm looking at you, Sleep Number, with your uncomfortable pillows and lack of mattress sheets...) Greg was incredibly patient and had so much experience in the mattress industry. It didn't feel like he was pushing us to make a sale; he really seemed to love TempurPedic and it felt like he was giving the mattress a glowing recommendation as a friend. The store itself is beautiful as well. It's so thoughtfully designed and feels incredibly comfortable to be in. Each mattress is in its own little "bedroom" - it truly feels like you can fall asleep in any of them! It had no side support on the left side, I documented this clearly with photos to their claims dept. this review is not written, or directed toward any particular store but instead Tempur-pedic as a corporation. I love their beds. I have two of them with an electric bedframe under one of them. But I bought a mattress topper and spent $250 on it and it was ordered by mistake. I called the company to see about returning it, and I was told that they do not take any returns or exchanges, except for defective material due to the nature of the product. this box has never been opened and I understand why they wouldn't take something back that had been touched but if it was completely still packaged and untouched, I think this is very bad customer service. This isn't an inexpensive item to buy and I was told I could give it as a gift. I don't give $250 gifts. And if I try to sell it, there's no way that I will get my full money back. I'm shocked that they don't make exceptions for untouched and packaged products. This is why you always want to order from Amazon and you can order Tempur-pedic through Amazon, they do not ever hassle you about exchanges or refunds. I'm a long-time fan of Tempur-Pedic, but after 10 years, it was time to upgrade from my older mattress (which retains a lot of heat and is no longer made by Tempur-Pedic) to one of the newer, temperature-adaptive mattresses they have. I had the good fortune of having an excellent customer experience with Greg, who is the team lead at the new Tempur-Pedic Burlingame store. The first thing Greg had me do was try out a few pillows before trying any mattresses. As a long-time expert on TP, he was familiar with my existing mattress and pillow, and immediately suspected that my TP pillow was too firm and high for me due to my stature. After asking several questions and having me try a few recommended pillows, I settled on a lower profile pillow which he said would keep my neck aligned with my spine and prevent me from tossing and turning all night to adjust my shoulders. After the first night with my new pillow, all I can say is I can't believe I was sleeping on the wrong pillow for 10 years. My neck and shoulders never felt better after a night of sleep. Greg's comprehensive line of questioning and diagnosis continued on for the mattress selection, so I am confident my new mattress will be a winner as well. (If not, there is a 90-day guarantee). Tempur-Pedic sales folks are not commission-based, so there's no incentive to sell hard to customers. That said, Greg's passion for Tempur-Pedic is quite evident by his detective-like investigation and skillful matching of sleepers with bedding products. I went in today to try the different types of firm Tempur-pedic mattresses available and Ricardo was great to learn from. In addition to asking questions about my sleeping habits and why I'm in search of a new mattress, he did a demo of the ergo base and made sure I was using the correct pillow for spine alignment. I came into the store to look at a bed recommended by a friend. He has a tempur- pedic in his guest room and when I stay there the bed feels so comfortable. I have back problems but wouldnt feel any pain sleeping in that bed. I decided to check the store and decided to buy the tempur- pedic luxe adapt firm. I literally look forward to coming home from work just to lie on it. My sleep and back problems have improved dramatically. Ricardo, the store manager walked me through the different beds and gave me a presentation regarding the different kinds of bed The bed is pricey but since Im older, there is no price tag on my health and comfort. Eric was very helpful, expeditious and knowledgable, and we put together an entire bed set over the phone in about 15 minutes. Turns out working with someone who knows the line and wants to help find the right bed, not constantly upsell, is a much better solution. You really can't go wrong with Tempur-Pedic mattresses either, so there's that. And they offer reasonable exchange policies, there's really no risk since you probably won't be returning it anyway. My last bed was a Duxiana 1001 and I won't be going back. Nothing against them, it gave years of good sleep, but technology is evolving. Highly recommend Tempur-Pedic Burlingame. read more

My wife and I went to the store to get a mattress. I didn't want one, but she did. Their Covid procedures are excellent. I felt very safe in the store. On the first day we were helped by Willet. He was very nice and informative. We weren't sure though and decided to wait. The next day we went back. Willet wasn't there, but Greg F. was. He was outstanding. He was friendly and informative. He didn't mind us spending a lot of time laying on the beds. We purchased 2 beds and 4 pillows that day. We had to go back a week later for an exchange of bed sheets and was helped by Ricardo. It was a semi-complicated return that was handled well. All 3 of the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Our beds are great too. We sleep longer now. read more

I've been shopping around a while to find the right and perfect pillow to match my Tempurpedic mattress. Decided to go this Tempurpedic store instead of looking at pictures online. This is where my boy Greg F comes out to greet me and assist my shopping experience. Greg is a super friendly and honest salesman. Super down to the earth guy and super chill! He greets you like if you were one of his close friends that he knows for quite some time. We were talking and joking around like best friends. He patiently listens to your needs and concerns and ask you questions to try to help you narrow down the decisions. In short he truly cares about your sleep quality. He wants you to get the best sleeping experience as much as possible. Greg gladly shares his recommendations to you based on what you told him and his own sleeping habits/preference. He gives you as much space and time you need or want to take. Yet he never ever pressures you or seems to get annoyed by your presence. I went there several different times to try out many different pillows. Yet he was never bothered or annoyed by carrying a bunch of pillows back and forth around the store. It felt like we were building a pillow fortress lol! With this pandemic, he lays out a clean sheet above the mattress and pillow so you can feel more confident and safe while laying on it to try it out. Greg even recommended a few places where I might be able to buy the pillows cheaper. He also recommended me to buy from Amazon for bedsheets that are just as good quality like the ones in his store. In short he truly looks for ways to help you save money when possible because he really wants you to save money. Not too many salesman these days really go that extra mile for you. He never ever pressure me to buy it from him just so he can make a sale. Finally I had found the perfect pillow that suits my needs. When I had found a better price or deal at a famous department store, Greg happily honored the sale price at his store. No questions asked at all. He just verified it with me and requested me to screenshot the competitors sales ad for his manager to see. Huge shoutout to Greg for finding me the perfect pillow and price matching a competitor's sales ad to save me a lot of money in the same time.
