If I could rate 0 stars I would. All around terrible experience. Insane wait times, rude staff, overpriced, overcooked, underwhelming food, dirty kitchen. Save your time and money and go literally anywhere else. We arrived at the restaurant for Sunday brunch around 12:20, we were told it was a 30 minute wait (I understand this is a ballpark estimate on their end) we waited and were told "soon" by the rude host when we asked again around 1:30. At 1:55 we were brought inside to be seated, leaving us all of 5 minutes to check out the brunch menu and order before it ended at 2. Got our order in and then waited again.... Around 2:45 I got my plate of food and my friend's plate still hadn't arrived. They seemed to have forgotten about it when I asked about 45 minutes later where her food was because I got my plate that was now cold 45 minutes prior. Another 20 minutes passes and my friend got her meal. Portions were very small, food was underwhelming, overcooked, and way overpriced for what you get. We ate quickly because at this point we were so hungry from the nearly 3 hour wait to eat, then waited for our server to come with a check so we could get out of there and she never came back. We had to go up front and ask to pay so we could leave. The table next to us had all the same issues and were also very disappointed in their experience and cancelled the rest of the food and drinks they ordered after waiting over an hour for 1 plate and 1 tea, there were 4 of them, 3 of them sat with no food or drink for over an hour. When these issues were brought to the host/ waitress she laughed and said nothing. No apologies or explanation as to why everything was such a mess. She was rude and didn't seem to care at all. I'm a patient person who understands that Sunday brunch is a busy time for most restaurants, and often allow so much grace for restaurants and their wait staff, but this was just too bad. Their lack of consideration and communication was a huge turn off to this restaurant. We actually left here and went to chipotle because we were still hungry after paying $30 each for our tiny portions of food. Chipotle was great as usual, awesome service despite there being a line out the door, quick as always, delicious food, and only about $12 total. Take note, it's really not that hard. read more

Temsib pad Thai is so good, they made it with big wide rice noodle. It is different from other Thai restaurants. You feel the texture is different from normal pad Thai noodle but it is so yummy. This classic fried rice is so delicious. I tried so many Thai restaurants I haven't find one same like in Thailand yet. And I love the way they cook with Chinese broccoli as well. Really delicious food and great service! The menu had the staple Thai dishes but also some interesting dishes that I've never heard of before. We ended up ordering the Duck Mango Chutney, Crispy Garlic Chicken, Kow Pad Man Goong Savoey and Gai Yang Gorlek, and the waiter was nice enough to point out before we got the dishes that the Crispy Garlic Chicken didn't come with any rice and needed to be ordered separately. My favourite was the Kow Pad Man Goong Savoey which was a fried rice dish with a soft omelette on top. I rarely order fried rice dishes but it seemed like a cousin to omurice and decided to give it a try and boy oh boy was it tasty. The shrimp is a nice addition but the rice stands on its own. So rich and full of umami. I definitely will be returning to try some of their other dishes - it's just a little more on the pricy end. read more

I came here with a group of friends and thought it was ok. It's located one block from the library and there are some street parking as well as garage parking as well. We came with 5 minutes of happy hour left so we were able to grab a few things off the menu which was nice. Food: -fried salmon belly - interesting, fatty, and flavorful -salted egg fries - flavor was ok, but fries were not crispy and the salted egg made things very messy -volcano chicken - pretty, big (can feed 2-3 people), almost like rotisserie chicken, meat was kind of dry. -lotus root veggies - tasty, flavorful, small portion for the price Service was good. they were attentitve, filling our water on a regular basis, and food came out fast. I'm so happy to have this new and nice Thai restaurant so close to the office. Their dinner menu seems more unique and their lunch menu has more standard Thai food (which is probably the preference for the lunch crowd). Employees have been great each time and the lunch has been good. I've also enjoyed the soft shell crab. I'm a little bummed the steak tartare is no longer on the menu but it was a little bland the first time I tried it. A little more spice consistency when it comes to the steak salad would be nice, though... the first time it was delicious (and not spicy) but the second time (maybe a week later) it was so spicy I couldn't even taste anything. Creative, authentic, just plain good. Is how I would describe the food here. 2nd time here and this review is for the Happy Hour which runs 3-6pm throughout the whole restaurant. We ordered practically the whole HH menu, but our favorites were the Crying Tiger and Grilled Pork Shoulder. So good we had double of each of those. Nice balance of char meat with a sour sauce with a bit of heat. I can eat those two dishes all day. The Chiang Mai Sausage was also good and be my 3 third favorite HH dish and it packed some serious spices. To me the wings and salmon belly weren't special and both could be a bit crispier. Service was on point, attentive and friendly. I'll be back for sure, for HH, dinner, lunch or whenever I crave some of the better Thai food on the east side. read more

So disappointed. All the beautiful pictures and good yelp reviews I think had my hopes too high. First off their health rating posted is just "OK" which is not okay. Started off with the fried crab app, crab was not cleaned properly and that weird yellowish goop still in the middle. Tasted not so fresh and then the rice balls with crab had no flavor just tasted like Deep fried rice...so For 13$ That was not worth it at all. Presentation was nice. Garlic fried chicken was decent tasted like Anywhere else's. Koi mai was okay not the best I've had and I saw a hair on the chicken. Dessert was interesting and beautiful presentation. First of all, ambiance is great. It's very nice. While the service is OK. Not great. Will explain later why. For the food, it's 50-50. My friend brought me here and tried their tom yum soup and their pork belly string bean something. The pork belly was great! I do like it. The tom yum, not great. Twas ok. Too strong! And too thick! I brought a friend here to try the usual thai dishes like curry, pad thai, thai milk tea and etc. Thinking might be great. Usually, we'd order tom yum too but that's out of our list already since the first visit. We ordered calamari and it was not really cooked inside. We asked the lady who works there if they can cook it longer for us, like we were really nice but she was a little bit arguing and her expressions were off. She said like "Oh well if we cook it, it will be burned on the outside" We did not want to argue but, calamari should not be like that if you haven't cooked it in a extremely hot oil that will burn the outside and leaving the inside that's not quite cooked. Anyway that's that. The pad thai was awesome except from shrimp. They were not too cook as well and a little bit fishy. The panang was not great, too strong! And did not like the consistency. Too thick! Now, it might be there style. However, I visited Thailand multiple times, their dishes were amazing no matter how the consistency is, not overpowering like this one. I've been here pre-pandemic and it was memorably delicious - but maybe that was because I was a bit too buzzed at the time - Ha! This time around it was still good and decent. Staff are attentive and polite. Food came out fairly quick. They have patio seatings available but we chose to eat inside. We ordered the crab pad thai, the soft-shell crab appetizer, and the Kuay Teaw Kua Gai. Crab pad Thai had an abundance of crab meat and looked beautiful! It also came with a deep fried soft-shell crab. The Crunchy Crab appetizer also came with 3 arancini balls over a coconut curry sauce. Very flavorful curry with a nice kick but the arancini was a bit meh. Everything was nicely fried though - not overly oily. The Kuay Teaw Kua Gai was a bit too salty. It's basically a pad see ew flavor but with squid and shrimp. We asked for no chicken for this dish even though it was listed on the menu. Nothing special about this dish so I'm not sure why it's considered one of their specialty dishes. There are plenty of street parkings available but we ended up parking in the Ten20 garage under the restaurant. The entrance to the garage is in the alleyway when you turn right, at the corner of the restaurant. It's free for 2 hours if I remember that correctly. I wanted to order fire chicken but they were out so I ordered similar half chicken and it was good. We made a reservation for 9 on Wednesday at 7 and had no problem getting seated. They were packed and had a limited staff of 2 ladies at the time. We ordered 8 different main dishes and 4 appetizers. Each plate is quite small, and the food is tasty, but not exceptional. It was almost too small for sharing in a large group, for example, not everyone was able to get a piece of grilled pork and/or calamari. My favorite dish was the crab fried rice! It has good sized pieces of crab and had a great presentation. The Thai tea crepe cake was good, the flavor was not as strong as I had hoped I had maybe. A small bite, I don't really eat dessert. Other honorable mentions are the green curry! The spice level of 3 was a true medium spice. For the price, I probably wouldn't return. Follow signs for the "Ten20" parking garage on the side of the building. There's an elevator that takes you up to the first floor. The service was pretty good. They never really refilled our waters, but they were friendly enough. Bathroom was clean. Came with a friend and we got the salted egg fries ($9), chicken pad thai ($13), pork pineapple fried rice ($13), tom yum soup with chicken ($12), and the thai tea crepe cake ($9). - The egg fries were definitely salty, but they were good. The fries aren't really coated in egg. There's just egg yolk pieces sprinkled onto the fries. First time trying this type of fries. I would give the fries like a 3/5 personally. Comes in a really cute wooden bowl thing though. - Pad thai was really good! Probably should mix it up when it arrives because it got kind of dry. I think pad thai usually does that though?? The portion was good for the price and had a lot of flavor. 4/5. - The tom yum soup was really good too. We got level 3 spice (out of 1-5), and it was definitely spicy. Had a lot of flavor and size was decent. 4/5. - Pineapple fried rice was bomb! Pretty biggg portion. 4/5. - Thai tea crepe cake: SO PRETTY. Smothered in tons of thai tea sauce. I came in to the restaurant at 10:56AM and the door was open, then the lady came to me and said that they're closed and opening at 11AM, I don't understand the logic of opening the door and not let people in when only 3 minutes left to opening, then lock the door in this case?! I have been here a few times and each time it gets better! An awesome mix of Thai fusion. The food is always very good and the drinks... spectacular! I have lived in Bellevue for a little over a year and have tried numerous places. Who would have thought my favorite place for evening drinks would be here. By far the best Old Fashions I have had. Then I found out the served brunch on the weekends. I figured since they haven't let me down I might as well give it a shot. I'm very happy I did. The house made pork belly bacon is absolutely amazing. I'm sure it's not the healthiest but well life is too short. I had the pork belly Benedict and it was awesome. The bacon was so good I ordered an extra side. The atmosphere is great. The staff is very friendly especially now that I am a regular. I would recommend the fried rice with topped with egg ommelette called Kow Pad Man Goong Savoey. The wok stir fried green/eggplant tofu dish. We tried the salted fries with egg yolk sauce. It sounded interesting so we had to try it. The fries were crispy, but it tasted like any other fries. I expected a yolk sauce over the fries. The yolk is mixed with the fries and deep fried. The spaghetti dish with mussels, shrimp, and scallops was delish. It was garlicy and a bit spicy. The way I like it! For dessert, the Thai tea crepe cake is a must. I haven't tried anything like it. Moist and tasty. Not too sweet! It's a bit pricey for the signature dishes, but worth a try. read more

Hot New Business, Tem Sib Thai Food Reimagined is! We've been to Tem Sib twice now for Happy Hour. And we are fans, so much so, we've introduced our friends to this place! Located in a not so busy section of Bellevue, parking can still be hard to find. But you can park in the garage behind the restaurant for 2 free hours, just enter off NE 11th St. There is still some confusion about when HH starts,(3 or 4?) but it ends at 6pm, and it's throughout the restaurant; since you can sit throughout the restaurant, you can bring your kids! A nice bonus for families. As far as the drinks go, the liquor selection is good, we've have their draught beer and wine on the HH menu. But the real reason I choose HH places is for the food. And Tem Sib delivers different takes on Thai food. I think we've had almost everything on the HH food menu: Crispy Salmon Belly, Duo Wings, Krapao Quesadilla, Salted Egg Fries, Spicy Salmon Gravlax, Thai Corn Salad, and Crying Tiger salad. And, honestly, they were all really good!!! I would easily choose those all over again, without hesitation. As for service, it can suffer. Our first time we sat at the bar and had great service from Diego. Our second visit we sat at a table, and service was less than ideal, but it was a bit busier on this visit, so I can overlook it. On my next visit I want to try that Volcano chicken!!! read more

We ordered the crispy salmon belly and the "toss-a-ring" fried shrimp donuts to share and for entrees I had the crab pad thai and my brother ordered the green curry. Service was attentive at first but once our food was dropped off we were never checked on again. I wanted to ask for chopsticks and extra spices but wasn't able to get anyone's attention and I had to go the meal without...which was unfortunate because the food desperately needed the added flavor. Everything I ate was extremely bland. While they are pretty generous with the amount of crab meat on the crab pad thai, the crab was dry and tasted like nothing. My brother however said his curry was on par with other curries he's had so maybe try their curry if you go? The food is really pretty and plated nicely and the free parking garage is a plus but, overall it was an underwhelming experience and I'm not eager to go back. read more

We came here on a Tuesday during happy hour and we were the only ones dining here. It was pretty quiet since it was literally just our party of 3 and their staff members. My husband and I were visiting and our friend who's dined here 2 times prior and liked it took us here. He did however say that all three times now that he's dined there, the menu items have come out differently. He has consistently ordered the pad thai and crab fried rice and every time, although good has been inconsistent with slight adjustments to the way it was made. I wonder if they have different chefs or rotating styles? We each ordered a thai tea, pad thai, crab fried rice, a pork broth noodle soup, salmon carpaccio, and chicken satay. My two favorites were the pad thai and the crab fried rice. The crab fried rice came with this really good green sauce that I could see being good with so many different things. Their pad thai came more on the wet side with thick noodles. It's the most unique variation of a pad thai that I've ever had and was very tasty. The noodle soup was good but kinda on the sweet side. The salmon carpaccio was surprisingly really good but really just tasted like it was dressed in asian fish sauce. Chicken satay was drenched in the peanut sauce and was just ok, a little on the drier side. Overall everything was pretty good and we'd definitely return if visiting and wanting Thai food. read more

I love a steaming bowl of curry noodles on a chilly day like this. This kow soi Chiang Mai from Tem Sib in Bellevue is heavenly.  Their pad thai is good too, but you gotta try the kow soi. What is kow soi? It's a bowl of northern Thai style egg noodles in rich, flavorful curry, topped with a bit of fried noodles too. Tem Sib takes it to the next level with a whole entire slow-cooked chicken quarter, plus pickled mustard greens, red onions, lime, and chili oil. Perfect combination of creamy, tender, spicy, crunchy, and fresh. What's not to love? And don't be afraid to get kow soi takeout. They meticulously package everything separately so the fried noodles stay crispy, and the boiled noodles don't get soggy. read more
