Love the bobo mango smoothie! I ordered online to pickup and the process was quick and easy. This location was actually located inside Ranch 99 food court with plenty of seatings and other stores, giving a nice hangout atmosphere. I was a little confused when I followed the map but they are the first store to the left. The drink was ready when I arrived and I loved it! It's fresh and filled with mango, tea jelly, and bobo.

+ Food: I got the QQ Milk Tea (Hot) with 10% sugar and Boba & Coconut jelly. The sweetness level was just right, and the tea was flavorful. + Service: I ordered at the terminal and received my drink in less than 5 minutes. Fast and efficient. + Ambiance: The Eat Up food court had plenty of dining choices and available seating on a Friday around 3PM. Looking forward to going again to try other drinks on the menu!

I got a mango and orange lili tea drink. It was light on the flavor but still very refreshing. The orange flavor was light but because of the pieces of mango, it tasted ok. My friend got a strawberry chichi smoothie. She liked the cream and said the strawberry flavor was good.

Recently tried the ESSJ location so wanted to see how it compared to the Cupertino location. This location is located inside the food court next to ranch 99. There was about 3 parties ahead of me and my order took 15 min for 1 drink. I got the golden leaf tea with lychee jelly at 30% sugar. The tea is very light and pretty watered down. The sugar level was definitely better than the ESSJ location(other location was way too sweet). I wasn't a fan how the lychee jelly tasted heavily of pineapple and since the tea flavor was weak, the drink tasted like a faint pineapple juice.

This tea place is located inside a food court right next to the 99 ranch, so location is great! They are right by the entrance, so you can't miss it! I saw the sign of the King of Mango Smoothie while I was waiting for my Taiwainese Fried Chicken steak next door, so I figured, why not? I was not 100% sold as I was hoping for more of a mango sago flavor drink. The drink comes with coconut milk, tea jelly, and fresh mango chunks. I will probably try something else next time if I'm in the neighborhood.

I am in love with this boba shop. Every drink is consistent and is made with quality ingredients. It's the very first stall you see inside of this Ranch 99 food court. With 100+ locations in Taiwan, you know it's the real deal. My favorite drink here is the King of Mango Smoothie, which is made with REAL MANGOS and packed with tons of toppings: tea jelly, pomelo pulp, and coconut cream. The combination is refreshing, creamy, and decadent. You also can't go wrong with the Tie Guan Yin Oolong Milk Tea. Dare I say... it's one of the best I've had! The tea is fragrant and doesn't have too much milk. Sooooo good. 50% sugar was perfect for me.

Recommend the king of mango smoothie if you like a mango dessert drink. It is on the pricier side but it's a good treat your self kind of drink. It's more of a dessert drink that a drink drink. Lots of toppings inside and the mango flavor is real (not artificial) Lots of sitting inside alongside a lot of other food court food. Good location to get multiple kinds of food at once

Im surprised they even got to America lol. Just discovered this store in Taiwan when I went back in 2023. They're known for the fresh fruits drinks, all fruit drinks are made with real fruits. The grape, mango and strawberry are my favs. Very filling dessert. Personally love their cream. Too bad a lot of ppl just sees them as another boba store (which idk if their teas are worth getting) but will stay for the smoothies

    Let's try this!

Found another decent Boba Tea Place! Reasonable price, good tea taste, and soft bobas. I tried their Peach Black Tea and it was a refreshing tea drink. You can taste a good amount of black tea and the sweet peach flavor. I went for light sweet medium ice and it's just enough sweetness. The kiosk looks neat and vibrant, located inside EatUp food court right beside Ranch99 Market. There are tables and chairs available. They have a lot of other flavors. I also ordered their regular boba milk tea and it's good too. Price point is around $6 - $7 per drink.

I was stoked when I saw Taiwanese-originated MACU was coming to the Ranch 99 Cupertino plaza. But my excitement died down quickly. MACU Taiwan's seasonal strawberry slush boba drink was my go-to drink when I visited Taiwan earlier in winter this year. It was so good that I couldn't stop thinking about it and was hoping they would have that in the Norcal MACU store (which they didn't). Their menu was pretty different from the Taiwanese version, but they have the basics like milk teas, fruit teas ("LiLi" series), salted cheese ("ChiChi") and specialty drinks like their "King of the Mango" smoothie (seemed like too many textural toppings for my taste) We went on a weekday 30mins within opening, and they had NO boba ready. The bobarista working the cashier stated that the boba was sold out. I feel like logistics need to be ironed out. How can you not have boba ready when you open? If you see other popular boba spots up here, they have their bobaristas FLYING through the orders and the toppings prepped well before they open. They also only had two people working, so that just shows you that their demand and hiring process is still slow. We went with their agar boba instead (the translucent ones), which were QQ but still would've hit different with their brown sugar boba. Their regular boba milk tea was aite, I mean 0% sugar is pretty standard across all other boba joints...and the agar boba was chewy. But if I wanted a standard milk tea, I would go to my fave TpTea for their delicious and aromatic teas. I wouldn't try MACU again, not within the first year while they figure things out. I was kind of disappointed, but I should have known that nothing will top boba straight from the Motherland. Good luck to MACU, especially since most stores in that plaza always end up failing.

Balls in your mouff. When it comes to balls, Cupertino's ball came is strong... Boba balls that is. Cupertino is a hub for Taiwanese food and boba shops so it's no surprise that Macu Tea opened one of their first US locations here (they also opened a location in E SJ the same week). T H E B R A N D In 2008, Macu Tea was established in Taiwan and currently has over 330 locations. Their specialty is Fresh Fruit Teas and Drinking Desserts (smoothies w/ various toppings). L O C A T I O N Inside 99 Ranch's Eat Up Food Court. Right when you enter the food court, Macu Tea is to your left (replaced Vampire Penguin). O R D E R I N G For now, in-person ordering only via one cashier. M E N U Series: Li-Li (fresh fruit), Chi-Chi (salty cheese foam), Fresh Milk (tea lattes), Milk Teas, Macu Specials (yakult, wintermelon, lemonade), Drinking Desserts (smoothies, tiramisu). Prices: $5.25-$7.50 Sugar: 0%, 10%, 30%, 50%, 80%, 100% Toppings: Boba, coconut jelly, green tea jelly, agar boba, etc. (-) Menu doesn't specify what toppings are in some of the drinks. Ex: Strawberry smoothie incudes tea jelly and salty cheese foam. (-) Some drinks have fixed sweetness + toppings that can't be adjusted. I understand fixed sweetness but they *add* toppings when your drink is being made. Not being able to opt out of them is a deal breaker for me. D R I N K S * Chi-Chi Golden Leaf Tea, 30% sweet ($6): https://tinyurl.com/3ta3db4r I wanted to order their Signature King of Mango Smoothie but it's fixed sweetness and you can't opt out of toppings so I went with something more basic. The Chi-Chi Golden Leaf Tea (oolong) had weak tea flavor, lowkey tasted like a watered down chrysanthemum tea. The salty cheese foam was airy and creamy with a nice saltiness but IMO, there wasn't enough of it. * Mango & Orange Li-Li Tea, 30% sweet ($6.75) My friend didn't care for it and when I took a sip, I knew why. It was way too sweet, tasted like 100%+ sweet...juice. Couldn't taste the tea that would otherwise cut through the sweetness. S E R V I C E Cordial. Poor cashier seemed very overwhelmed. After paying, you're given a pager. With 3 people ahead of us in line and 3 staff preparing drinks, it took about 15-18 minutes for our order. A M B I A N C E Modern food court with shared seating. P A R K I N G Busy parking lot during peak hours. Overall, maybe it's a matter of opening kinks, personal preferences, or we choose wrong but Macu Tea's drinks are not my jam (I like strong tea flavor). I'm obvs in the minority. But, with all the stiff competition in the area, 3 stars is fair.

    Wintermelon tea with fresh milk.

Located inside the food court plaza right next to Ranch 99. The employee told me they've been opened since November so fairly new. The workers are super friendly and let me sample some teas which I appreciate because I'm really picky with my milk teas. They're either too bitter or not sweet enough. The worker let me try a peach tea and an oolong tea. Both weren't to my liking so I got a wintermelon with fresh milk and it was so refreshing! Just right and perfect flavor. Their cups with the Peanuts collab is also cute! I think they use real fruit for their smoothies so I can't wait to go back and try those next time!

Fresh Taro milk and Bo Bo (clear boba)
    Christine L.

The marketing posters for the tarp milk got me!! This is inside a food court by Ranch 99 where there are other Asian food options. Ambiance is just generic cafeteria style with lots of seating available and I've never seen the place too busy. Loved my taro drink! Pleasantly surprised you can really taste the fresh taro and I like that it isn't too chunky! I got light ice but they crush the ice and it's sort of blended into the drink so I'll probably get medium ice next time because I would like the cold to last longer as I drink slow. I asked for less sweet but the man mentioned it is a set sweetness but isn't too much anyway. He was right and the drink was perfect! $7 ish for fresh taro milk drink but the quality tasted very high and there was the perfect amount of Bo Bos (their name for Crystal or clear agar agar boba. Definitely would get this again and willing to try other drinks!

We read reviews ahead of time and saw it was recommended to order online and come and pick up andi felt like this was a MUST DO, if you didn't want to be waiting all morning. I came to pick up my drinks about 25 min after opening and their running count for drinks made that day was already nearing 100. We tried the strawberry avocado smoothie and the mango avocado smoothie and both were great! I would recommend getting the mango if you had to choose between the two. We got 30% sugar (recommended) and I would say that was perfect! We added the oat pearls, and they were good. Different than the typical boba. I may prefer the other kind of boba, but my husband liked the oat boba better. I would love if they had both options to choose between and would love a few more non caffeinated options. Those are my two recommendations for change. We will be back!

It's quite different from a typical boba shop, focusing more on fruit-based and creative specialty drinks, with several unique combinations that you don't see very often. This visit, I ordered the Avocado Snow Ice drink, the signature milk tea, and a durian drink. The avocado drink was probably the biggest surprise of the day. It tasted like real avocado rather than artificial flavoring, with a rich and creamy texture. The grains and seeds at the bottom added an interesting layer of texture, making it feel more like a dessert than a drink. The signature milk tea had a noticeable tea flavor and wasn't overly sweet, making it easy to enjoy. As for the durian drink, it delivered exactly what durian lovers would hope for--strong aroma, rich flavor, and a texture similar to a durian milkshake. The packaging also deserves a mention. The designs are distinctive and eye-catching, giving the brand a unique identity and making the drinks great for photos as well. Prices are a bit higher than your average boba shop, but the quality of ingredients and creativity behind the menu make it feel justified. After trying boba and tea shops for years, it's refreshing to find a place that offers something genuinely different. Not every drink will be everyone's favorite, but the menu is memorable enough to make you want to come back and explore more. Overall, a solid first visit, and I'll definitely be back to try some of their other specialties.

I believe you can ask for the whipped cream in a paper cup instead and get a small package of pecans. They automatically do this for online takeout orders. The Snowy Jasmine is phenomenal! It's fragrant and floral, you can tell the tea is high quality and not watered down. I absolutely love the pecans topping, so unique and yummy. I used to think their super thin straw was just a gimmick, but the tea honestly tastes better through the small straw than a regular straw. 4 stars because the Tongmu Lapsang Bubble Tea is just OK, nothing special.
