Shout out to the beautiful lady that took my order, very kind, very pleasant, very sweet! The restaurant was extremely clean and it look like some things were wrapped up in plastic in the back -lol.... But I ordered the Chinese vegetable soup and the vegetable lo mein. All of it was very yummy, the soup was over the top filled with veggies and bursting with flavor. This place is not too far from where I currently live and I can definitely see this soup going into my weekly rotation whenever I decide to eat out. It's my first time trying Huaiyang cuisine and it is surely interesting! My fav is their sweet and sour fish and fried duck with taro puree. They taste flavorful and unique. I've been here twice and ordered take out each time. I am happy with the food and service! I ordered something different each time. For my first time I had lo mein. My second time I had Singapore noodles. The food is always piping hot, not soggy when I get home. I live 15 mins away. I would declare that this is the best Singapore noodles I have ever had!! Under new ownership with a superb chef heading up the kitchen. The staff is super friendly but they still need to learn how to grow their business and attract patrons with their unique dishes. But when you see Chinese people dining inside, you know there's something about this place. I learned later they have a Chinese menu which are special dishes the regular enjoy. My plan is to use Google translate to get to the root of what's on this menu! However, the more Americanized dishes my family enjoyed were delicious. When I arrived, I could see that it was very clean on the inside and they have 91 health score. The gentleman that rung me up was also very nice and welcoming. The food was so fresh. I literally did not eat for about 30 minutes after picking it up and it was still piping hot. This is some of the best egg foo young I've ever had. I can't wait to try their other items!
