It's my first time trying Huaiyang cuisine and it is surely interesting! My fav is their sweet and sour fish and fried duck with taro puree. They taste flavorful and unique. If you reserved early, they can make food sculpture art as well! I saw on their website mostly bird related sculpture with fruit and veggies which is super cool!

They are not very clear with their price here. The menu says for 9.95 you get 8 piece wings with pork fried rice, but I was charge $13 because wings is considered a side order. You need to update your menu to reflect that. Nonetheless this food wasn't worth $13. The rice tasted stale. There's nothing aesthetically pleasing about the ambiance. It looks more like a takeout restaurant. The service is ok.

Food was super tasty, service was excellent and the staff really nice. This may have been the cleanest Asian restaurant I have ever ate at.. i had Kung Pao Shrimp with Chicken and added broccoli.. Hot and Sour Soup was really good and the fried won tons were super strips and lite and not greasy.. try it out, great place.

The tangerine fish is pretty authentic. Food are so sweet and pretty compatible with Asian flavors.

I can't remember how many times I have visited. This place is the place if you want some real high quality representative Chinese food. As a Chinese grow up in the northern part, I gotta say this place is better than any huaiyang restaurant I had in Beijing. You hear me right, it is actually weird to say that I had the best huaiyang cuisine experience in a lane city of Georgia. Just try it out and don't forget to toss away the general Tso menu (could actually be good tho since I never tried their American Chinese menu, but who want that when you have the access to the top quality authentic Chinese food).

Rare Huaiyang cuisine here at Firey bowl in Atlanta! ⁣I'm pretty sure this is the only restaurant. ⁣⁣ Huaiyang cuisine is one of the Four Great Traditions in Chinese cuisine and Firey bowl has some amazing specialties from this rich culinary tradition!⁣⁣ I give it 4 stars partly because of the unique dishes they have, more like 3.5 for the quality of most of the dishes. ⁣⁣ I recommend trying: 1. Crystal Stewed Pork: Dip it in Chinese vinegar, and it melts in your mouth, smooth and appetizing! 2. Signature Squirrel Fish: Crispy exterior, tender interior, and a sweet & tangy sauce that's pure perfection! Wasabi Shrimp: The presentation is impressive, and the taste is refreshingly delightful! 4. Braised shredded chicken and ham with dried tofu: one of the most iconic dish from Huaiyang cuisine! It should be a burst of flavor with shredded chicken, wood ear mushrooms, ham, bamboo shoots, all cooked in delicious chicken broth. While the ingredients were all there, the flavor was a little lacking for me. ⁣⁣ They also serve traditional dishes like osmanthatus lotus root and Lion's Head Meatball! ⁣These tend to be offered at other restaurants as well and I wasn't particularly impressed by either. Overall solid place if you want to try something new or craving some of those dishes! ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #HuaiyangCuisine #FoodieDiscoveries #FireyBowl

Under new ownership with a superb chef heading up the kitchen. The staff is super friendly but they still need to learn how to grow their business and attract patrons with their unique dishes. But when you see Chinese people dining inside, you know there's something about this place. I learned later they have a Chinese menu which are special dishes the regular enjoy. My plan is to use Google translate to get to the root of what's on this menu! However, the more Americanized dishes my family enjoyed were delicious. It looks like they do pretty good with takeout, but inside is very large with plenty of seating. Again, our waitress was really nice.

I've been wanting to go back here ever since I tried it a few months ago. I dream about the tofu, no kidding. A great mom and pop shop with traditional and authentic Chinese food! I love the homey atmosphere, and they have lots of vegetarian options!! I tried the vegetarian "duck" dish, but by far, the braised tofu was the star!! The crispy shell in contrast with the soft interior is absolutely delightful!

What a disappointment. I really was trying not to allow my biased preference of NYC Chinese food to influence this review - but yuck! With every bite it tasted like I was eating salt and nothing else. Underwhelming is an understatement, absolutely won't dine here again.

My best friend told me she ran into the chef somewhere I forget and he told her he opened his own restaurant. He use to be the head chef at Royal China but now has his own. Congrats :) She said I gotta come try this place.. and so I did :D and I'm sure glad I did!!! My favorites here is the Squirrel Fish. I loooove the way he cuts up and frys the fish! No matter how much it's soaked in the sweet n sour sauce, it's still crispy! Just wish he would make it spicy. The Westlake soup is soooooo good! Had everybody slurping! I like this way better than fish maw or any other soup. The braised pork belly just MELTS! The Beer Duck is A MUST!!! Love the flavors in it! The Walnut Shrimp has no walnuts, just pecans but I must say it's better than Mings BBQ (which is my fav) and actually, one if the best I've had in a long time. Dragon loves the Orange Chicken which is on 'the American menu'.. Chef finally got his Chinese menu up with pictures that you scan and look at because before he had a Chinese menu written in Chinese and didn't wanna translate it. I get it! It was a long ass menu! So I'm glad he finally got that up. As I'm writing this review, I think I'm funna go back and get that Whole Squirrel Fish and Walnut Shrimp today! And braised pork belly! This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants now for AUTHENTIC CHINESE FOOD!!!!! :)

Was craving for Chinese food and I came across this place. The owner of the place is so nice and welcoming! Such a hard worker too! This place is clean and the wait was about 10-15mins. I ordered the mu shu pork and fried rice with 8pc wings (not pictured). Both was soooo good with so much flavors! Great amount of food! I ended up bringing mines to work the next day to eat also! I definitely recommend this place!!

The food was good and most of the meals served had a large amount of food. We were a bit disappointed with the amount of food on the Snapper plate we ordered. I attempted to order the crab and spinach dip with the garlic bread like I typically do at other locations, and my server told me if I were to order it with the garlic bread, it would be an additional charge and I would only get two. I was shocked. I've ordered that and other locations, and that was my first time hearing that I would be charged extra to swap out the bread and then on top of that only receive two pieces. I ordered the Texas redfish pontchartrain with mashed potatoes. I asked if I could add cheese, and I was told yes; however, when it came, there was no cheese, and our server took so long to return, I didn't even bother. In addition, by that time I was already turned off with the bland fish that had several bones, minimal sauce, and overcooked shrimp. I was extremely displeased. I wish I would have just stuck with a fried dish, such as the chicken tenders and shrimp. That would be a safer choice. Both the fried shrimp and chicken tenders were pretty good, but know that they have a kick. The brownie dessert was pretty good. It was actually the highlight of the evening after a disappointing meal. I will never return to this location.

I recommend coming on a non peak time like weekday night if you want to enjoy a very laid back and server attentive with friendly customer service. Amy (sp?) was super helpful and friendly and brought the whole experience together. As far as the food goes, the seafood boil was fantastic! We ordered combo B and added a crab, pound of shrimp, corn and noodles a la carte and the portion was generous and enough for some take home doggie bag so I could share with my wife and kids at home. We went with the Cajun butter hot seasoning sauce and to be frank at first it was a little spicier than I expected but as we dug into the meal more the spice level balanced out and it was a truly fantastic and memorable meal. I might suggest mild or regular spice level for those who do not have a high spice tolerance. We ordered a pitcher of the premium draft IPA and we really enjoyed ourselves to seafood boil and a pitcher of fine refreshing ice cold brewskies! 5 star night, 2 thumbs up experience, and a solid 5 star for Mama's Crawfish and Wings of Suwanee!

The oysters were very fresh and large with a mild briny taste that was refreshing. We decided to try out the seafood boil as well and opted for one of the premade combo B because it had our favorite green mussels. The combo also had shrimp, snow crab, crawfish and 2 each potato and corn. Perfect for splitting. The boil was cooked to perfection. The craw came out easily and whole, the corn was sweet and so juicy it ran down my hand. I ordered a side of cream noodle to go with the boil. The noodle price is more expensive for a side but the amount is enough to split. When we stopped by it was a Thursday evening, and the inside was pretty empty, just one or two other tables while we were there. The restaurant is nestled between a few hotel/motels and not too far from the highway so I was surprised to find it wasn't super busy. I did notice they did quite a few take out orders. Inside is the standard seafood boil decor, think ocean and fishing. Service was very fast and our waiter was very nice. He kept coming back to check and see how we liked the food. We will definitely be back, i hope to try the wings next time!

The table was decorated with little hearts and a card to wish us a happy anniversary. Our servers were a team made up of Deija, Celia and Jackson. They were all very attentive and friendly. Deija was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and when we had any questions she was able to answer them without missing a beat. They brought out their warm rolls with a side of butter. Those were very good. We started off with an appetizer of their fritto misto. This dish was fried lightly and very delicious. I wanted a caesar salad and my husband mentioned sampling some of my salad. Deija overheard this and split the caesar salad which I thought was very thoughtful and nice. I couldn't have imagined eating it in addition to the bread, appetizer, entree and side that was ordered. So I really appreciated it being split. For our entrees I ordered the double cut filet mignon with shareable mashed potatoes and my husband ordered the bone in ribeye with the corn soufflé. My picture of the ribeye came out blurry so it is not pictured, sadly. We really enjoyed our steaks, they were phenomenal. The char, temperature and the way they were cooked were very delicious and to our liking. After we finished up our entrees we were going to ask for their dessert menu. Celia brought out a cheesecake with strawberries with a plate decorated in chocolate that said Happy Anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised and thankful for the dish. Deija mentioned that she hoped it was a good choice based on some food items I mentioned to her I could and could not have. We were excited and happy with the surprise dessert, it was delightful. We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant as well as the food. The entire occasion was heavenly. We will definitely be back in the future.
