Rose margarita
Karlee B.

Very busy on a Friday night which is great to see. Grabbed drinks and an app at the bar. The bartenders had a great attitude and were friendly. The restaurant is beautiful. The drinks were great and very happy with the food. Excited to come back and try more of the menu!

Went for a quick drink yesterday. I felt it is not the same as before especially the Rose Petal margarita which used to be my favorite before they closed down due to a fire. Also didn't see the guy who balances your drinks on his three fingers - that used to be a fun little touch to the experience. Our drinks were good but we weren't blown away as we used to. Their margaritas used to be the best in the city. Guac and chips were fine. I will surely come back for a proper meal and hope the food is still as delicious as before.

Yay! Tequilas is back open! I was uber excited to make my way back! So excited that I arrived early to locked doors BUT they graciously let me ! I ordered a cocktail and guacamole. For my entree- TINGA POBLANA (A CLASSIC STEW FROM THE HEART OF PUEBLA, FEATURING SEASONED CHICKEN, CARAMELIZED ONIONS AND CARROTS IN A CHIPOTLE SAUCE. SERVED WITH TWO MOLOTES). The restaurant was packed by 6:30pm! Patrons near by were talking to me expressing how happy they were the restaurant reopened after being closed for 2 years! Everyone appeared to be so happy!

Rice and beans

I've been to Tequilas many times over the last 20 years and was very excited for their return. Started with the chips and salsa ($10) and the ceviche. There's nothing special about the chips or salsa, for the cost it would be nice for the chips to be warm. The ceviche was delicious, the broth is packed with flavor and you'll eat it by the spoonful. Entree wise we had the conchinita and molcajete. The mojcaete came with a side of rice and beans of comical portion size, maybe 3 tablespoons of rice? The beef in the molcajete was tender and full of flavor. The conchinita was also flavorful, but the pork leaned into dryness. The tortillas that came with the entrees were fantastic. Overall the food is good, but aside from the ceviche and tortillas, nothing wowed me. Tequilas is an institution, they've been around since 1986 and it feels like they missed an opportunity when reopening to reinvent themselves. They don't need to try to be fine dining, there's no need for white tablecloths, etc. The service is always very good, the space has been refreshed and the food is good but with multiple Mexican options in Philly now, you can find the wows elsewhere.

Came here on a date night. Made reservations and thankfully I did. Saw signs about brunch which caught my attention and now I have to come back for the brunch. We had a friendly and attentive server waiting on us. I wanted to try a bit of everything but decided on the sweet plantain with beef and it was amazing. Everything I bit into was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The food was perfect and a great date night selection.

Best carne asada!

Tequilas= an elegant setting, great service, amazing food...consistently! Every single time we have come the food has been so tasty - love everything from the chicken tacos to the carne asada! The drinks are also a strong pour. Their outdoor streetery is great and their indoor setting is fabulous. Will come again, and frequently!

I went to Tequilas Reaturant for the first time during restaurant week. I was happy with the menu options and how they had meat, pescatarian options, and veg options. The place is gorgeous with high ceilings, chandeliers, and tons of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was very fun and friendly making the experience great! The food was good but not amazing enough for 5 stars. The chips and dips were great start of course! The enchiladas were described to be stuffed with crab, lobster, and shrimp but I just tasted crab. The sauces on top were okay but nothing to write home about. The steak and shrimp had more variety on the plate with rice, beans, steak, and shrimp. The shrimp were super flavorful and delicious. I asked the steak to be cooked medium rare and it came out just at well done. The desserts were good but I'd say the cocktails were the best part! I would come back to happy hour!!

Tequilas is by far the best restaurant for food, service and atmosphere. Every dish was delicious and beautiful! Not to mention they have the best margaritas in town. The staff makes you feel like you're a friend and the atmosphere makes you feel like you're at home. If it's your birthday, I highly recommend going to tequilas!

I came here with a colleague on a weekday evening and it was fairly busy, but we had a reservation and did not have to wait to get seated. It has an upscale interior and a festive ambience. It's definitely a place for special occasions since we heard them singing birthday songs every 30minutes or so. The complimentary chips and salsa were good, though the chips were pretty greasy. We shared the queso fundido and it was definitely a slice of cheese heaven, but a little too heavy for the both of us. I had the pescado tequilas. Our server recommended the dish and it was no disappointment at all. The fish was very juicy and tender. The garnish was delicious and the rice/veggies were cooked just right.

Tequila's has been a mainstay in Philly since 1986. I stopped by for a Winter Restaurant Week 2023 dinner at the bar, realizing it has been far too many years since my last visit. The bar area was very lively. Since it was also Happy Hour, I was able to get a discounted Daquari. It was perfectly mixed and I'll just say I didn't stop at one. Soon after i got my first drink a plate of chips and salsa arrived. This comes with the meal. It kept me satisfied as ordered and waited for my meal. The restaurant week menu was impressive. I opted for the TAQUITOS DE POLLO appetizer. It's chicken wrapped up in a corn tortilla topped with salsa. A tasty appetizer that got the meal off to a good start. My entree was the ENCHILADAS PLAYA. It's a steal at Reataurant Week prices. It's crabmeat, lobster, shrimp, and peppers wrapped in a flour tortilla and then covered with melted cheese. It's an outstanding dish. I devoured every drop. If it's on the restaurant week menu moving forward you do not want to skip it. It just happened to be national chocolate cake day when I was there, so I got the CHOCOLATE MOUSSE cake for dessert instead of the Tres Leches, which I have had before and remember it being very good. I was happy with my decision. A delectable dessert that is a unique take on the chocolate cake. At the end of my meal I felt really silly for letting so many years go by without going back to Tequila's. I will not make the same mistake again!

Steak and shrimp! Generous portions for restaurant week and soooo good. Also came with a side of rice and black beans

Incredible food for restaurant week, and great service and ambiance. We had the following dishes for restaurant week ($40 dinner), plus some extra dishes: - Ensalada cesar - my friends loved it, but I didn't think it was anything special. It was good but nothing to rave about. All I thought was that it had good crunchiness lol. - Mar v tierra (steak and shrimp) - so good! I had the rib eye steak cooked medium rare, and it was flavorful and tender. Shrimps were huge, buttery-rich, and flavorful. The portions were incredibly filling and generous for restaurant week, and there were sides of rice and black beans too. I was impressed--normally, portions for restaurant week can be a bit skimpy, but at not this place! - Fish tacos - delicious, warm, and very tasty - Ceviche - okay. Just not a big fan of that dish in general. - Tres leches cake - amazing! The cake was very fresh and soft, and the frosting cream was light and not overly sweet at all. - Chocolate mousse - meh. I love chocolate and normally must have chocolate-containing desserts, but I'm also not a big fan of mousse's soft/fluffy texture. Tres leches cake was definitely so much better, and I'm glad I got that one instead.

I didn't expect to enjoy this arcade as much as I did. I went this past Memorial Day and…read morethankfully, it was not packed AT ALL, it was basically empty. I do think if I went on a day where it was packed, I would not have enjoyed it as much. The racing simulators are pretty cool! The chair shakes while you are racing in order to give it as much real effects as possible. As your driving/racing you have to pay attention to the guides on the floor in colors red, green & yellow signifying you to slow down on certain curves and turns on the different tracks. When you pay for a race, five rounds of racing is included. You can pick your level of difficulty for each round. I went with "rookie" for all of my five rounds and each track was different. It was neat not knowing what to expect each time you began and it was cool to know you could enjoy it even at the most basic level, which is rookie. The food was not bad, but I could've done without it. The fried chicken sand-which was kinda salty, but I was a fan of the truffle fries. The prosecco was good, light and extra bubbly (not pictured). I think the interior was very nice! Being that there was barely anyone, I got to capture some pics which was nice! I see this as being an arcade you enjoy, when it's not many people, as couples and with some friends. Not a place to frequent often, I think.

Very disappointing experience at F1 Arcade Philadelphia during NBA Finals Game 3…read more Our group of eight professionals chose F1 Arcade to watch the game, order food and drinks, and support a local business. With approximately five minutes remaining in the game, the TVs were suddenly turned off without warning. We initially thought there was a technical issue, only to be told that everyone had to leave because it was after 11:00 PM. The issue wasn't that the venue was closing--it was how the situation was handled. No one informed us beforehand that the game would be cut off before it ended, and when a member of our group respectfully expressed his disappointment as a repeat customer, the security manager on duty, Dante, responded aggressively, used profanity, and stated that he "didn't care" because he makes more money than any of us anyway. Customer service and professionalism matter. Unfortunately, the manager's behavior turned what had been an enjoyable evening into a negative experience that left our entire group questioning whether we would return. We hope ownership takes this feedback seriously and addresses both the customer service issues and management conduct at this location.

We went with a group two nights in a row, and everyone had such a great time both nights, which I think says rather a lot. It is not every place that earns an immediate return visit, let alone the very next evening. The music was good, the drinks were great, and the staff was super nice and friendly the entire time, which made the whole experience even better. The place was also really clean, and it never felt too crowded, which was especially appreciated with a group. There was room to actually enjoy ourselves without feeling packed in or shouted over. The rooftop was absolutely the crowd favourite and was so nice with the great weather. It really gave the whole place an extra bit of charm and made it very easy to settle in and stay a while.
