    Lunch Special #1
    Laura L.

Fast and friendly service at lunchtime. My food was hot and delicious. I absolutely loved the Lunch Special #1 for only $6.75! One chile poblano, one taco, rice or beans, lettuce, guacamole, and tomato. With the complementary chips and salsa I was full!

Popped in here last weekend, for a quick sit-down lunch before playing golf at a nearby course. Service was prompt and attentive. The meal started out with a complimentary basket of chips and salsa...the chips were warm and their salsa had a slight heat / kick with a thinner consistency. They were a nice combo. I ordered the chilaquiles lunch special was quite tasty with plenty of plump chicken, chips, sauce and cheese. The platter was served piping hot, so the dish stayed warm for quite some time. The meal was served with seasoned rice, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce and diced tomatoes. It was a ton of food for a very reasonable price. I would definitely return here if I make it back to the area.

Okay... HANDS DOWN - the best Mexican food I have had in my life. As I'm writing this, I'm currently in Indy wishing I could move back to Ohio and enjoy this food every weekend. The fajitas have so much flavor. The margaritas are strong. The queso is unique. The food is cheap. The service is quick. Everything you want in a restaurant this place has. There is no better place, especially in Ohio. Recently tried fajitas at a Mexican restaurant here in Indy and couldn't believe how flavorless they were. Tequilaville, you're one of a kind!

This place is underrated! Bomb margaritas any size you can think of, especially for you dreamers out there. Beans, chips, salsa, salsa Fresca, quest, tacos de carne asada. All so f*con delicious.

It was ok, food was pretty bland obviously the typical gfs beans just add water. The chicken chimichangas were ok, and the fajitas the wife had just seemed bland.

My favorite Mexican in Newark-Heath-Granville area. Great for quick lunches at reasonable price.$6 -$7 lunch. 8 person group and everyone was happy with meal. I Suggest the Chile relleno and enchiladas. They do have party rooms available. Great place for families with children.

The food was very bland/tasteless. Found out why they are liked so much, the large strong margaritas lol.

Great food and service, a good alternative to Puerto Vallarta that is closer to Granville.

Enjoyed various dishes but really loved tuna app- very fresh and light. Overall had an Mexican dish possible- really enjoyed and recommend

Service: waiters are friendly, but normally a younger crowd so can give off that "just doing my…read morejob" attitude at first. Sometimes a little slow and can find yourself waiting for water at times. Ambiance/Atmosphere: the inside is very nice and although narrow doesn't feel crowded or stuffy. Lighting is dimly lit enough for a nice date night, but not at all to dark. Food: The pocho burrito was amazing the first time I had it, followed by the second and third time even. Just a delicious burrito with an amazing habanero cream sauce and packed full of all three meats. I'd genuinely argue from my memory that it was the best burrito I'd ever had. That being said, I'd highly recommend skipping to go. The last 2 times I had it which has been over a year because I simple could not return it was just that disgusting. I was disheartened to have wasted my weekly cheat meals on it not once, but twice in arrow of dining here. The shrimp was hard, bland as if nothing was in my mouth, but still disgustingly fishy. The habanero sauce was tasteless and the avacado most definitely was not fresh. The chicken, steak, and peppers along with the tortilla still tasted good, but it was almost impossible to enjoy it pushing past the disgusting shrimp. The enchiladas were ok, but definitely a waste of money and calories. Not at all special. It seems that now this place is doing a bit better and has back to back 4 and even 5 star reviews. I'm giving Pocho's a 3 regardless of how awful my last two experiences were due to the fact the Pocho burrito was truly that delicious the first few times I had it. I raved about it and went back 3 weeks in arrow and even told my friends about it who loved it all the same. I used to even get two dining in and all three times getting it to go. Maybe it was my fault for trusting to go orders to much, but the first time it was just as amazing as dining in. I may give it another try as I truly do miss that delicious burrito, but I've discovered much better Mexican and don't want to risk wasting my time. Only time will tell if I give this place another shot.

What a train wreck…read more.. I have given very few 2 star ratings in all the reviews I have done over the last 10 years but this was bad. We wanted to try something new in Heath and Thiango's popped up so we tried it. The interior is nicely decorated but it still had some Christmas decorations up in mid February so that should have been a clue that something was a little off. When we got seated and settled in we realized that it was really cold interior restaurant - like 60 degrees cold. The waiter, Shawn, was horrible forgot our drink order - 3 times. He suggested having the seafood so that is what we had. I had the seafood platter which was OK - the salmon was over cooked and they forgot to put the crab in it. When I pointed out the lack of crab they told me they would get me a side of shrimp? Wifie had the salmon platter with linguini covered in rose vodka sauce which the salmon was over cooked but the rose vodka sauce was really good. It took forever to get the food out and the waiter stopped by so infrequently that our drinks spent more time empty than one could imagine. They offered to bring us more bread but they ran out. The bread was good also. This would have been a great place to dine if it was not for the poor service, the overcooked fish, the cold temperature of the resturant, the forgotten crab, the empty drinks, this lack of bread, ...

Our experience was great! Short review summary: Kids eat free on Sunday made the process awesome,…read moreservice was very good, and food was pretty good. Decor was fine despite the remnants of the old brand still there. More info, for those that care: In my type A personality I noticed a lot. Sure there is still decor that needs attention, like Christmas lights still up (must be a choice on purpose), a few paint locations need touched up, and yes, three surfboards still mounted to the ceiling from the old restaurant, but it didn't change the ambiance much. Music was nice (smooth jazz was playing) and most of all, food was pretty good and price was great. The free appetizer bread was really good, my Chicken Marsala was good, and my wife's Chicken Alfredo was really good. The kids spaghetti and Alfredo cheese ravioli were good too. Nothing tasted like Olive Garden, it had a unique local taste (BTW if you didn't know OG pasta is just bagged and boiled- as someone who works in the kitchen, they'll tell you). Overall the food was cooked well, sauce tastes handmade - salad dressing on my side salad definitely did (balsamic) and despite there being some generic things like iceberg lettuce and generic mushrooms, it tasted pretty good. I think what made it the best was our service, which was outstanding. The place was a ghost town, there was one other party there and us. So we should have had great service. The main host/waiter was great though despite the good timing (he welcomed us and responded to anything we needed quickly). Finally, the price was awesome! We got 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals, with kids eat free on Sundays, so our bill was $43 before tip. Overall we hope to go back and try another time. If you haven't been recently, you should definitely go back and try it again!
