Their food is good for being in Canfield Ohio, but not authentic. BEWARE a mojito is $9 and isn't priced on menu and they were snotty when I asked why. $9!!! Wasn't even a stiff one. read more

Tried Tequilla Jalisco on Thursday around 12:30pm and wasn't busy. I agree with other yelpers that their service was Excellent, it couldn't have been better, their food also was excellent and the restaurant was clean like "Spotless"! My wife used the restroom and she said that also! I would Highly recommend Tequilla Jalisco to anyone who wants authentic Mexican food. "Tequila Jalisco" Easy access, just west of SR 11 on 224. Large, clean parking lot and beautiful building. I was immediately greeted and seated, even the servers waved and acknowledged my arrival with a smile. The staff was neatly dressed, the dining area was roomy, modern, dimly lit, with low Mexican music in the background. There were several large TVs in the corners but were not a distraction. My server Ramone arrived, was knowledgeable, helpful, and he actually seem to enjoy his job. Dinner prices were around $10, beer prices $2.75, mixed around $4.00. Custom orders are OK: if an item is listed as steak or chicken, they will gladly substitute ground beef if requested. I judge a Mexican restaurant by its beef burritos, as I have been making this south of the border entree at home for 40 years. I must say, their jumbo burrito is probably the best I ever had. It came out hot & fresh, the meat is seasoned to perfection, unlike any I've ever had at any other restaurant. The side vegetables I added were cold and fresh, and the beans & rice were excellent. Can't wait to go back and try the tacos! I wrote the condensed review above in April 2013 on another site. I revisited 2 years later Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Ramone no longer worked there so my server was Alissa. This time I ordered wet burritos, (3) tacos to go, one lg. draft beer, and the total came to $20! Ate here for lunch. The service was great and the guy waiting on us had some pretty clever jokes. They give plenty of refills on chips and salsa. Margaritas are delicious. Atmosphere was pretty good and the food tasted like authentic mexican food. I would eat here again. read more
