My entire family and I have been coming to Dr. Wong for almost 20 years. My kids have grown up with healthy teeth, served by Dr. Wong, hygienist Gina, Traci and Estella at the front desk... the latter two providing EXCELLENT customer service. As the decision maker of healthcare providers for my family, I have NEVER once thought about leaving and going elsewhere... until today. I called to reschedule an appointment that the staff had cancelled earlier this month due to staff shortage. Someone named Margarita answered the phone, told me Traci moved, and proceeded to ask me to spell my name five times while trying to find my chart. When I pointed out that we'd been on the phone almost five minutes and all I've done is spell my name and I want just want to get the appointment scheduled and on with my work day, she said, "If you're going to be nasty, call me when you're not nasty," then hung up on me. WOW. I called back three more times asking to speak to Dr. Wong or Estella and she hung up on me THREE MORE times. I demand Margarita be reprimanded for her horrible customer service demeanor and apologize to me. That's just NOT how you EVER treat a customer that's been frequenting your practice for almost two decades with her three kids. IF Margarita is reprimanded and apologizes to me, I will return and edit this review to reflect the terrific service we've received by all on staff... until TODAY. I will not EVER accept being treated the way Margarita thinks it's okay to treat patients on the phone. read more

First time to see Dr. Wong today after a suggestion from my hott fiancee....He was the best!....I don't like going to the dentist., but Dr. Wong and his team made it the best it could be....my tooth/filling was falling out and he was able to xray me and get me in the chair within an hour of my appt....Nice! The only negative I have is that I didn't find Dr. Wong sooner!! He is the best dentist EVER!!!!! And I have been to a few. My mom and I were referred to Dr Wong and his amazing staff via my aunt, when my mom needed a dentist who was more into his patients than the insurance they carried (yes, I am throwing shade to her former dentist), also someone who was pain free. Fast forward several visits later and my mom and I couldn't be happier to be a part of Dr Wong's patients family. Dr. Wong's caring nature, gentle hands and professionalism is so top of his game. Hi Everyone, Dr Wong is awesome! I trust him. He has integrity. It is obvious he has passion for his work. His staff are gentle and caring. I have been seeing him for more than 20 years. Over the years I made suggestions about things I like in a dentists office and he implemented them. I lived in London for 19 months and saw him on my visits back to the US. Twice he has come in on his days off with no one else in the office and fixed my dental emergency (chipped tooth, lost filling) . Gina is my favorite hygienist and has been cleaning my teeth for ages. She is focused, determined, gentle and thorough. Best Dentist ever!!! I've been seeing Dr Wong for 17 years and Gina (Hygienist) for 16 years. I've moved out to Stockton, but still make my way back for dental work and cleanings. Dr Wong is very professional, always provides clear prognosis and gives you several options for any work he recommends. How exciting that I am the first to review Dr. Wong! I have been a patient of Dr. Wong since 1990 and I would NEVER consider leaving this practice. I have not 1 bad thing to say and I have 19 years of experience as his loyal patient. My entire family and many friends are his patients as well and he is equally loved by all. Dr. Wong is very conservative and he absolutely will not recommend treatment that you do not need...in other words he is not trying to make money from you but rather he is trying to build a solid reputation as an honest dentist and that he has! I've been seeing Dr. Wong for a couple years now and I've been very happy with him and his work. He definitely has a conservative approach to dentistry and doesn't do things just so he can bill you. For example, I had a tooth that wasn't quite a cavity, but had the potential. Instead of filling it he recommended a more rigorous brushing/flossing routine. Most other dentists would have insisted on filling it so they could bill my insurance. I've had no issues with any of his staff. My only complaint is with the scheduler/scheduling - a few days before your appointment you will receive an email asking you to confirm/cancel your appointment. I kind of got reprimanded for cancelling via this email vs. calling to cancel. I think if they want you to call to cancel/reschedule then they shouldn't offer a digital solution. read more

Dr. Wong is the best! On my first visit I was 1 hour late due to traffic and commuting from Mt. View. I have to pre-medicated for dental appointments and was really bummed I'd have to take the medicine again in a couple weeks for a new appointment. Dr. Wong understood my frustration and cleaned my teeth causing him to stay late on a Friday night. He didn't make his hygienists stay, he stayed. He is a great man and I am so appreciative of his kind heart. During my cleaning he was gentle and made me feel at ease. The office is clean and welcoming. Tracy, the wonderful lady at the front, is so kind and helpful. She clearly explained my incentive insurance plan and made sure to book me a Saturday appointment for my next cleaning. After searching for a new dentist on Yelp, and reading all of Dr Wong's 5 star reviews, I visited Dr Wong's office for a cleaning last week. I was already won over by Tracy during the scheduling process over the phone. Tracy is such a genuine and kind spirit. Even though Dr Wong was fully booked, instead of shooing me away, she found a cancellation and got me in for an appointment the same week. I hadn't been to the dentist in a while and required a deep cleaning over 2 visits. Gina was the oral hygienist who did my cleaning. When I tell you she's the best ever, I may not be giving her enough credit. She was very detailed and thorough, and ensured I felt no pain by numbing any sensitive areas. I happened to find Dr. wong by a person who came to the office I work. at the time, I was looking for a good qualified dentist who I can trust. Because I had a numorous probelems with the previous destists I had been. Most of dentists tried to sell their business as soon as they diagnosis your teeth. Some of them even lied me that I have 3 dental cavityies that I'd better fix asap otherwise, it's going to be a big problem later. I have been his office for apporoximately 12 years I have never ever problem with Dr. Wong. He wont tried to make money on your teeth unless it's necessity. Second, his office is so clean. Dr. Wong and his staff are simply amazing!! Kind and courteous, they put me at ease when I had to have 2 extractions and a bridge done. Very accomodating, excellent bedside manner, and the gentlest touch! Dr. Wong's nerve block was all the pain relief I needed! And after two major extractions, hardly any swelling or discomfort. I've been going to Dr. Wong for a little over 5 years now and never had a negative experience. His hygienists are the best. They're super nice and very talkative which can be a little awkward when you're mouth is wide open with a water pick running through it, but they will give you a break to answer or chat back with them. I called Dr. Wong about my 2 year old chipping his front teeth on a Saturday night at 6:45. I didn't know if his chipped teeth were an emergency situation because I've never had to deal with it(I only have one child). When I called, I left a general message just telling the doctor what happened and to call me when he got a chance.
