The portions are huge, the chicken is good quality, and the oil doesn't upset my stomach unlike at other places. I have ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl special and the chicken katsu, and they were both fantastic. No complaints! If you use the drive through be prepared to wait; they seem to take the drive through order, then prep and cook the food, then have the person pay and give them food. It's quick but by no means "fast food" so you will have to wait while the orders in front of yours are prepared. I second the other person who said avoid eating here at lunch or even going inside thanks to the punk wannabe goth kids who loiter, make faces and gossip about people who come in. Overall this place has good food and I will be back. New lunch fave! read more

Since when is Kung Pao chicken breaded and smothered in sweet and sour sauce? I was highly disappointed...no spicy sauce, celery or water chestnuts as are traditional to Kung Pao. I did get 10 peanuts thrown on top of an overabundance of sweet and sour sauce. I actually told them they gave me the wrong order but they insisted that was Kung Pao...not. Wouldnt recommend... if you want real Chinese, go elsewhere. read more

Today I stoped into Teriyaki and Burger Stop for lunch, I ordered a chicken sandwich and onion rings. There was a bit of a wait but it was pretty busy and at peak lunch time. They called my name and handed me a brown paper bag covered in grease and I became quite excited. I opened the bag to find a mess of onion rings. This isn't like some places that give you a few onion rings, this was a full onion worth of rings. Golden brown and very crispy, they tasted like the fair. Then the sandwich was found buried below the rings and a hefty napkin. It came wrapped in a yellow paper wrapper. While nothing much to look at it makes up for it in taste. It's not the most flavorful sandwich, but the chicken has an excellent crunch from its crispy breading. It was fresh and hot and the meat was juicy but a little bland, but the pickles did give it a nice sweet/sour zip. Look forward to eating more items on the menu especially the teriyaki. read more

Teriyaki is alright, but this restaurant is very dirty. I would advise against this place if you value your health.

I was on my way home from work and craving a good drive in style burger. I used to frequent this place years ago when I lived in Everett but now I'm over in LS so it's out of the way but decided to swing thru. Typically I used to get the burger dip or teriyaki burgers but wanted a bacon cheeseburger and curly fries so that's what I had. The three stars are for friendly service, speed and the curly fries. Sometimes speed isn't that great, my burger was warm and the cheese wasn't melted. The patty wasn't very flavorful and when I opened the burger I thought they forgot the bacon but as you can see from the photo it's tucked in there. (Couldn't taste whatever bacon that was - I usually like drive in burgers for the big strips of fried bacon.)The onions were fresh but my favorite addition is tomato and these were mushy (see photo) I ended up taking them off. The curly fries were enough to feed a family and were hot and delish. I'll be back to see if the mini teriyaki burgers are what they used to be and hopefully add another star then. :) read more

I ordered the Burger Combo which is a hamburger with fries. The burger was absolutely delicious. Each individual ingredient was fresh, from the pickles to the crisp lettuce to the tomato slice. They obviously take great pride in delivering the best possible burger you could ever wish for. Then there were the perfectly cooked fries. They were cooked perfectly and so hot I had to wait a minute for them to cool down. They had a crispy outside but not so much you couldn't enjoy the basic potato taste of a good french fry. This place is worth driving a little farther for just to enjoy a great burger and fries. They also have a drive thru if you are in a hurry. read more

My son went to get me catsue chicken and fried rice. I about threw up. The chicken was old or spoiled, dry and no flavor. The fried rice was like glue. Not Japanese cooking but a non experienced cook. I've been going to this place for about 15 year's and No more now. It's updated for the worst not better. The grease needs to be changed as well unless there is dark grease for frying these day's. I am sorry to say but I don't know if I'll take the chance to spend 20 bucks there ever again. That food will kill somebody if they're drunk and order then eat it all if they're serving now spoiled chicken , old chicken or freezer burned chicken. I do not recommend Burger Stop any more unless you're starving. It's not enjoyable good food any more. My standards are higher. read more

Holy s*&#balls, the Spicy Teriyaki Chicken Burger is the jam. No, seriously. It's so simple in it's construction- basic bun, mayo, their delicious, perfectly juicy and spicy teriyaki chicken, and grilled onions, but so complex in flavor. Didn't have cheese on it, i'm glad it didn't. It like, almost blew my mind. Almost. At $1.59, it's a f*$%ing steal. Soon to become an obsession of mine. I had misgivings about a combination burger and teriyaki place but based on Yelp reviews I decided to try it anyway. My son cautioned me he had a bad feeling about this. I ignored him. We entered about 3 pm and all the tables were dirty. I started to leave but I wondered about all those positive reviews. There were pictures of food but no counter. We walked around the corner and found the counter. I ordered a deluxe burger combo. What I got was a thin slice of beef about the size of McDonald's smallest burger atop a cold hard bun with nice lettuce, onion and tomatoes. The tiny patty of meat did not fully cover the bun. I was in search of teriyaki and went to my trusty yelp. Thanks guys! sort of..... So my troubles started from the get go. I drove up. I said: So I hear you have great teriyaki!. Response: "So that's one teriyaki?" "uh.. yes" I said, then added "One cashew chicken please" The kid on the other end couldn't understand either because of the speaker system or he's not a talker. He's white american with no apparent Limited English so I'm not sure what the deal is. After a 20 minute wait I get a bag shoved out the window at me and a nod. Arriving home, I opened the teriyaki and yes! the best ever!!! I opened the Chicken cashew and was greeted by dried out over cooked chicken Katsu..... sigh... You know... either fix the damn sound system or get a new kid. So I take it back. I'm forced to walk in side.. Whereupon I'm greeted by no greeting just a slap of a box on the counter. I gave back the Katsu. I hope to God they weren't planning on recycling it. No one said sorry, no offer of anything for my trouble.. nothing. Worst sucking customer service EVER....... I gave them three stars solely on the cold teriyaki that I did get to eat. oh and the cashew chicken? Obviously, breaded sweet and sour chicken with cashews thrown on it. Even had bell peppers. Whenever I am in Everett area, which is only 4-5 times a year hopefully, i make sure to stop and get their Teryaki Chicken Cheese Burger. It has great blend of onions mixed into it too. I have ordered some randoms off the regular menu and all of which have been very happy with..... BUT, they are only place I know of that serves that unique $1.59 w/ cheese Chicken Teriyaki Burger. I also have tried just their regular burgers, but they are sort of bland for my taste. Everything else though, GO FOR IT! They are a real nice small family business and have a huge amount of local support b/c of how nice they are and how well they know their cooking. Oh, also, the french-fries are the special long-cut jagged ones that really fill you up. I like it the most b/c the teryaki burger and fries run me less than $4.00! read more

Honestly, I thought this place looked pretty scary from the outside, and the inside is nothing worth writing home about. However, the prices, the food, and the portion sizes are amazing. I got a Super Combo with pork, beef, and chicken for $8.75 and it fed two people, and I could have split it up into four if I didn't want to be stuffed. Everything I have ordered there has been pretty damn good, and consistent from visit to visit. I usually just call my order in, and go pick it up. They have always been very friendly. Friendly people run this place. The food is consistant, and good. The prices are reasonable and portion sizes generous. I highly suggest you give them a try. Some reviewer posted a negative review about waiting for their food. True, there is usually a little bit of a wait, that is due to them making your food AFTER you order it! If I could give ZERO stars in would. The food is very good but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I went and ordered Spicy Pork and Beef Teriyaki both with extra meat. Upon arriving home my husband pulled both cartons out. We received Spicy Chicken instead of Spicy Pork. When I called to notify them of the mistake, I was told NO Spicy Pork had been ordered today. Love that they have a drive through!!! (always love that option) the server was very nice, fairly quick. What drew me here was it is one of the ONLY places around that serves teriyaki on Sunday!!!! Stopped by here yesterday for a quick bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised! Sure it doesn't look like much on the outside and when we walked in there wasn't music playing and no one was in the restaurant but that did not deter us and boy am i glad it didn't! The service was friendly and the food was excellent! We were happy to see that it was fresh chicken and not just reheated like some places use. The teriyaki chicken bowl was awesome! I had extra veggies in it which were cooked perfectly with still a little crunch to the broccoli. yummy. On top of that it was only $3.99! That's cheaper than a grande latte at Starbucks! So I actually started boycotting this place because they take so long on their orders, and the quality of their food has gone down in the past year. The Mongolian beef and General Tao's are so dry that it's borderline disgusting, and the woman that's always ringing you up is really impolite. I have enjoyed this restaurant for many years but now with the coronavirus threat, when I ordered my usual terriaki chicken breast from the drive thru window today and got home I noticed the plastic fork they include is still of the unwrapped variety. I don't know if the person placing the order in the bag wears hand protection or not but in these times the fork they include should be in cellophane the way most other restaurants provide as a matter of routine. I don't know if the local health department is overseeing restaurant operations with the virus in mind or not but I will not be using their fork or napkin in the future, not knowing if all the employees wear hand protection or not. read more

I learned about this little place last summer. We went over and tried out the combination plate (I had pork and chicken). It was enough to feed me for two meals. The food was tasty, the service was nice and it was very inexpensive ($8 for two meals, and I am not a small guy). Later in the summer I took my wife. We had the same great food/service. This time we decided to try the super combination (it has chicken, beef and pork). It was larger than the very large portions before. It fed my wife and me, each two meals for $9. We've been going there for ages now and we love it. The place is clean, but older and worn, so if you're looking for something fancy go somewhere else! The drive though seems like a long wait (if you're used to Macdonalds etc) but this is not a fast food place so the wait is expected. I'll never go here again. They have a faulty, speaker in the "drive through" so we have to park and then get out to order. So after loosing our place in arrival order, we then wait to order, just to be told my brand new debit card, can't be accepted bc the chip wasn't working, which is a very common problem. My entire lunch break was wasted. I am a teriyaki hunter. I have teriyaki at over 50 places in my area. This is the best teriyaki by far. You can get a spicy chicken bowl for 4.50 that is so big you could split it. They put onions and broccoli in the bowl. I would suggest no broccoli as their brocc tastes odd to me. But for real... BEST TERRIYAKI I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! I am only refferring to spicy chicken bowl. Their gyoza is just ok and I've never had anything else.... wait ...they also have super cheap terriyaki chicken sandwiches... like a buck. Just go and try it, you'll be happy you did. read more

I am in love with teriyaki from Burger stop. I found this place a couple years ago and alway use it as my naughty escape if I'm really craving teriyaki. The best thing by far hands down is the teriyaki burger. This meeting of two cultures between a bun is mouthwateringly delicious and surprisingly cheap. You can easily grab two burgers and be satisfied with a meal. On top of that (if your feeling really naught) their milkshakes are delicious. I've only ever got the banana one and they even put in really chunks of banana with actual scoops of ice cream, no weird machine or anything. The place is typically filled with high schoolers from across the street, but they even service a drive through here! Be prepared to wait a bit in your car, but trust me it's well worth it. Next time your near and need a bit of teriyaki heaven stop by Burger stop and you will leave completely satisfied! read more
