Highly recommend ordering ahead as the waits can be pretty long. I was quoted 25 minutes but ended up waiting an additional 10 minutes when I got there. Even when ordering in person, there's signs saying waits can be 30-45 minutes which caused some people to walk out. Wow is located along other shops and a gas station. You'll notice then with lots of smoke coming out from the roof as they're nonstop grilling. Parking is easy but can quickly run out. Upon entering, all the tables were occupied but no one was eating - everyone was waiting for their orders to go. I ordered a chicken teriyaki and the portion was large (looked like about 3 chicken thighs) which makes it worth the $17 price tag. The chicken is pretty charred so if you like that then you'll like wow. What's different about wow is that their chicken is drizzled with a thicker teriyaki sauce and a watery teriyaki sauce is provided on the side. Overall, wow teriyaki was good but I prefer Toshi's in the area more (personal preference). read more

Overall, I was disappointed with the service and delivery of the food. I placed an order online at 6:28 pm and with the ETA of 6:40 pm. I got there at 6:35 pm and the employee 1 said they were still working on the Yakisoba noodles. However, the Teriyaki was already in the to go bag. I checked in around 6:45 pm, and employee 2 said they were still working on the Yakisoba noodles. I checked in at 6:53 pm (employee 1 has been eating her Teriyaki somewhat hidden but at the front counter) and employee 2 said my order was done. I asked why she didn't call my name, but she had no reply. I was disappointed as the Teriyaki was cold and I waited unnecessary. There was no apology. read more

I've been looking for good teriyaki in the lynnwood area and this one is awesome. Tried here for the first time and the portion size of the Chicken Teriyaki was so good. It was the perfect amount of food and had a nice little salad on the side. The woman at the counter was very friendly and was super quick and packed my food with all the proper utensils and napkins. This review is for a delivery order, so I cannot speak to the ambiance or even service per se (though everything was prepared quickly and packed professionally). I'm focusing on the food: really hit and miss. The yakisoba was some of the worst we have ever had anywhere. The noodles were mushy, and none of the ingredients were stir-fried at all. We ordered one with tofu that was not remotely charred, just soggy. And one with chicken which was a touch better, but the noodles and veggies were still limp and mushy. We got different teriyaki versions. The /mild/ chicken breast was much hotter than the /medium/ chicken thigh. The chicken thigh (regular teriyaki) had more of a teriyaki flavor, too. The heat level seems to come from gochujang, which has a distinct, strong flavor. Just something to note. All of the teriyaki had a nice char on it. The salad was decently fresh, but the dressing was like sugar glaze in both texture and flavor. If we ever go back, we will get regular chicken or chicken breast teriyaki with no spice. The portions are absolutely massive, and perhaps this partially explains such a high average rating. I'm sorry to say our experience didn't match it. read more

I've been coming here since I was in middle school. Chicken fried rice has been my favorite food ever since I first ordered it here. Even to this day, the food is amazing, and all of the staff are very kind. I remember a time I came to get food with a good friend of mine. It was very busy, so we ended up waiting a little longer than usual. About 15 or so minutes later, an older woman came out from behind the counter, looked at the two of us, and asked, "are you still waiting?". When we told her we were, she not only assured us that our food would be ready very soon, but she even let us both have a can of soda, on the house. That gesture, as well as the amazing food made that experience all the more memorable. I hope to continue ordering from this place for a very long time. read more

I've seen the reviews and I wanted to see for myself. We were met by a friendly greeting and I could see that she's (Didn't catch her name)busy, so we went ahead and used the kiosk to place our order. This was around 12:30pm or so and inside wasn't too packed or busy at all (must've missed lunch rush luckily). Inside the restaurant was roomy and full of tables. Very cleanly setting. We ordered the Regular chicken teriyaki & Spicy Teriyaki (very hot option) to go since i wanted to eat at home and watch a show. We opened our orders and WOW is definitely a fitting name for this place. The portions did not disappoint at all! The flavor and char of the chicken was perfection. I only ate a quarter of it with the salad and had to set it away for later. Food coma incoming. This place will definitely be my #1 to go to and well worth the drive. WOW Teriyaki is a somewhat lowkey fusion spot that I stumbled upon while on the hunt for burritos. I'm a fiend for teriyaki burritos which were a popular lunch in high school on Highway 99. Fusion burritos around Lynnwood are great and that includes this spot. However, because teriyaki is in the shop name, I would recommend coming here for teriyaki that everyone else is raving about. Also, support local! I believe the owner helps support local students with scholarships for college so by supporting WOW Teriyaki, there's an opportunity to benefit the community as a whole. I do wish this was more public or we could hear from the recipients however. I was very grateful (and fortunate) to have financial support from other local groups on my own college journey. Krispy Pollorito - the bottom of the tortilla wrap is fried for a greasy crunch but it also helps keep the burrito from falling apart. While I enjoy cleaner, healthier burritos, I see the benefits. The chicken katsu seems to be made of chicken breast so it is rougher because there's less fat. Besides that, there's lettuce and rice for a simple, clean burrito that is balanced by the fried tortilla. I'm very picky when it comes to teriyaki - my parents owned one growing up. Some teriyaki's I have tried is pretty dried, but this one is tender and juicy. I needed a quick late lunch and stopped by Wow Teriyaki based on lots of positive reviews. Park right up front and order either via touch screen menu or at the counter. I didn't want anything fancy and just went with a chicken teriyaki and rice plate, which comes with a small side salad. They do certainly have a WOW menu though with tons and tons to choose from. I think the WOW comes from the portions for sure which are immense. You may need a forklift to carry your box out. Heaps of sliced chicken, gobs of rice, and a decent amount of sauce (I recommend asking for a couple extras on the side given the portions). I'm a 6'3 200+ lb male and this thing fed me 3x over. Worth the price tag. If you want a hot, quick meal that will be sure to provide some leftovers the next day, give them a go. read more

Came to wow teriyaki from a coworker recommendation. Was able to order off of the kiosk which was quick and easy. There were a few waiting in the restaurant for their togo order but the phones were ringing off the hook to place orders before the restaurant closed at 8:30pm. Ester (owner) surprised us, letting us know we could grab two canned sodas for free! Currently they have a promotion of a free soda with each meal! How sweet! Had a conversation with the lovely owner and she let us know that there are a couple fan favorites on the menu (1) chicken teriyaki (2) spicy chicken teriyaki and (3) beef or Katsu-ritto.
