Place is clean and inviting, a bit small but honestly seems like food is fast. As far as the food goes we ordered a katsu donburi and 2 chirashi donburi, the ordering "menu" had options for changes and choices, but I just stuck with a basic orders. We grabbed a table and the girl brought out our drinks, then the katsu came out and the girl apologized for the delay with the chirashi bowls. Few minutes later our chirashi bowls came out and the girl apologize for the delay. Awesome awareness on their part!! As for the food, my boy enjoyed the katsu bowl, as for the chirashi bowls, the fish was at a good cool temperature and the rice was perfectly warm - something that real sushi restaurants understand. For me and my chirashi bowl I don't really care for sushi rice, I prefer plain rice for my donburi, an option I will look for next time we visit - and we will definitely make it a regular stop when we visit Seattle. Various fish was fresh, and in abundance. Nicely done chirashi bowls at a reasonable price.

There was a little parking lot we parked in. There is a screen you place your order at. It's good for dine-in or takeout. We decided to eat there. You can sit anywhere and they'll bring the food to you. I got the salmon poke and added eel and my friend ordered the traditional katsu don. We both loved our dishes. I liked mine so much I definitely ate more than I should've. I'd recommend this spot!

FOOD: 4.5 - 5.0: Filet Mignon with Foie Gras. Melted in our mouths. - 4.5: Tempura Morel Mushrooms Risotta. The tempura coating was not as light as what we were used to in Japan, but excellent nonetheless. Wonderful cheese. - 3.5: Vichyssoise with Smoked Scallops (appetizer). Very good, but we would have preferred a more generous scallop quanitity. - 4.5: Soy sauce ice cream (dessert). Unique taste that was surprisingly good. We are glad we had it, and will be ready for this taste again in 6 months. DRINKS: 4.5. The owner's recommendations were all spot-on. In addition to a bottle of rosé, we had: - 5.0: Plum wine from Japan: Izumibashi Umeshu Yamada Juro. Pricy but the Japanese person who adores umeshu rated it very highly. - 4.5: A dessert wine from Italy that the owner recommended as pairing well with the soy sauce ice cream: he was correct. SERVICE: 5.0. Excellent advice and very attentive. AMBIANCE: 4.5. Comfortable. We had window-side dining table seating, which provided a nice west-ward view over Seattle.

My boyfriend and I finally had the chance to visit with one of our friends who have stopped by here saying that the food here is really good. I got their pork tonkatsu with omelet set A, my boyfriend got their chicken tonkatsu, and we got a ebi curry udon to share too. The service here is friendly. They do check up on you every so often, especially for water refills. The space is quite big and they can seat lots of people, they even had a big party of 10 when we dined in but without enough space to walk around and still seat many in booth or chair seating. Food didn't take too long to arrive which was nice as we were starving. The food portions are pretty big! The breading on the katsus were crunchy and flavorful. The udon was perfect: gooey hard boiled eggs, huge ebi katsu, chewy noodles and the same comforting curry. The chicken katsu was good but the chicken was on the dry side for me. My boyfriend was very pleased with the curry and katsu saying that we had to come back and try the other dishes. The iced green tea was refreshing, the salad's dressing for the side salad was pleasant and the miso soup had tofu, seaweed and green onion so it was excellent! Definitely recommend this spot to those who enjoy Japanese cuisine.

Thankfully dine-in is back open again, so we got here on a Saturday morning around 11:20am to indoor seating that was nearly full and a small line that was forming at the front counter. Walls have a bunch of photo frames, and overall place felt very homely. They have a ton of Hawaiian style plates and even burgers and some seafood, though we and most others got the former to eat. I ordered their chicken and pork combo Hawaiian style plate, and my bestie got their chicken katsu Hawaiian style plate. Portions are huge for both plates and both also came with macaroni salad. They give you sooooo much meat no matter what you get. To go in slightly more detail: - Chicken and pork combo: both meats were flavored very well, and a little sweet too though pretty salty without using the rice as a palette cleanser. Chicken had more depth in its flavor; the pork's flavor was a little too much for my liking, and was slightly harder to chew. Both meats had some sauce hat went onto the rice itself. This didn't detract from my overall experience here, though. - Chicken katsu: we both agreed this was our favorite after exchanging pieces of each other's dish. The katsu is crispy and crunchy, and the chicken itself retained a lot of its juiciness. Katsu sauce on the side is honestly optional since the meat itself is already salty enough. This place does share extremely limited parking with Cakes of Paradise next door, so get here early or be prepared to drive around the area to find some. Just get here, it's a place you can't pass up when you hit up Georgetown!
