Spicy Teriyaki Chicken with obligatory Salad!
    Michael L.

So I have been going to this place for years. Fun fact the original building was famous for its chicken... Now that they are re opened after a fire DESTROYED the business, I can enjoy them again! I can say I had my favorite "spicy chicken teriyaki " it was dang tasty. The sautéed onions were a huge surprise! Large portion of protein, rice done to perfection. There was just enough sauce to make it perfect, at least for me. The inside was nice, very clean and bright. The person working the after lunch rush was super attentive and on spot. To go order was ready in very short order! Yum!

So grateful this restaurant is back after the rebuild! It's looking and feeling really nice! Reminiscent like it was before, but with evening being brand new. It was busy but not packed when I was there. The food was fantastic. I got the Korean short ribs and the flavor was great on them! Also got brown rice and it tasted like really quality rice. I ate there (most ordered to go) and the tables were clean and I got my food pretty quickly! Also thought that, for being short ribs, that they were well priced!

I was bummed. This place used to be one of the best teriyaki spots. The portions were on the smaller side and the taste was not hitting. Maybe they'll get better with time.

    general tso chicken

I ordered 3 different dishes, regular chicken teriyaki, spicy chicken teriyaki and general tso. I ordered extra sauces on side but I guess it comes with it so that was nice. The taste of each dishes were average like other shops. and portions were pretty good. I recommend you preorder on phone if you dont want to wait because they were busy. I will definitely go back bc of price, taste, good service.

    EXTRA SPICY chicken teriyaki.

A distinct building you can't miss. And DON'T! They're exceedingly friendly, and the food is great! All that, and they're incredibly fast too! My dilemma, was I walked in looking for spicy chicken teriyaki, but then saw their menu with all the delicious options available. Spicy chicken teriyaki, or curry katsu? Spicy chicken teriyaki, or curry katsu? WHAT DO I DO?? Well I have to come back again.

I love teriyaki. Love it so much and it is near and dear to my heart. My family used to own a teriyaki shop when I was younger so it's a very nostalgic meal for me because it reminds me of my childhood. I live in West Seattle and this tends to be in my way home in Georgetown when I am going home from work. They teriyaki is always well marinated and well cooked, with a nice char on the chicken to give it some nice flavor. Their salad dressing is light and tangy which is a nice contrast to the chicken teriyaki and goes together perfectly. They also have a chili garlic hot sauce that's really good. I usually get the spicy chicken and they stir fry the chicken in a chili garlic sauce and gives it a bit of extra kick which I really appreciate. They give big portions and a good serving of rice with the food so definitely so get very full off this meal. Definitely recommend!

Yum! I can officially say I also Luv Teriyaki after my first meal at this place. Their teriyaki sauce is a bit sweeter than I expected, but really delicious. The chicken was grilled to perfection, and had a really smoky flavor. The restaurant in itself is very cool. It gives off a vibe of "I'm small, but my food speaks for itself!". We didn't however eat inside the place, but that gives me an opportunity to shed light on their To-Go. Called, and it was ready in about 10 minutes on a Sunday! Pretty awesome considering most of the other Asian restaurants I wanted to try were closed on Sunday.

I was looking for lunch as I waited for my car to be finished and wandered to a street with two teriyaki places across from one another. I decided on the prettier looking building with outdoor seating. Chicken teriyaki: (+) amazing value and taste, best price for teriyaki in Seattle I've seen so far (+) liked that the salad was packaged separate (+) good sauce for chicken and for the salad (+) friendly service Gyozas: (+) I don't normally preferred super deep fried gyozas but the filling was really good If you want good chicken teriyaki at a fair price in SoDo, this is a good spot to try!

I agree with another reviewer (I had the seared salmon bowl when I first went) and I loved it - but I am a minority because I know the quality of the salmon was super high and I don't require a lot of sauce to enjoy it. But every time I get the mixed chirashi sushi donburi, it is just "beyond expectations." I have now gone almost a dozen times, and it feels like a treat to bring people there - Georgetown in itself is a bit of a surprise, parking is tricky but there is parking lot and the hours are great (I think till 9:00 daily) and the people and service are wonderful. My friend who speaks Japanese talked to the owner and he started this restaurant in Japan and brought it to the Seattle area about 5 years ago. It feels totally authentic, Japanese owned and run, and the quality is consistent every time.

The taste was unfortunately very bland, no significant sear in the salmon, and the soy sauce didn't add anything memorable to the bowl. The Una-Gyu Don wasn't bad, but the broiled eel with sukiyaki just wasn't special enough to make you crave it again. The location has a parking lot next door at least. Internally the dining space is narrow and fills up quickly at opening times in the weekend. Order at the counter or kiosk, and they'll deliver the food to your table, which you bus yourself at the end.

Thankfully dine-in is back open again, so we got here on a Saturday morning around 11:20am to indoor seating that was nearly full and a small line that was forming at the front counter. Walls have a bunch of photo frames, and overall place felt very homely. They have a ton of Hawaiian style plates and even burgers and some seafood, though we and most others got the former to eat. I ordered their chicken and pork combo Hawaiian style plate, and my bestie got their chicken katsu Hawaiian style plate. Portions are huge for both plates and both also came with macaroni salad. They give you sooooo much meat no matter what you get. To go in slightly more detail: - Chicken and pork combo: both meats were flavored very well, and a little sweet too though pretty salty without using the rice as a palette cleanser. Chicken had more depth in its flavor; the pork's flavor was a little too much for my liking, and was slightly harder to chew. Both meats had some sauce hat went onto the rice itself. This didn't detract from my overall experience here, though. - Chicken katsu: we both agreed this was our favorite after exchanging pieces of each other's dish. The katsu is crispy and crunchy, and the chicken itself retained a lot of its juiciness. Katsu sauce on the side is honestly optional since the meat itself is already salty enough. This place does share extremely limited parking with Cakes of Paradise next door, so get here early or be prepared to drive around the area to find some. Just get here, it's a place you can't pass up when you hit up Georgetown!

Parking is scarce, so plan ahead and be patient. We came on a Wednesday and happened to score a parking spot right in front of the bakery. Once you arrive, get in line immediately--there will be one. The woman taking our order was incredibly peppy and friendly, even while juggling everything: taking in-person orders, answering phones, serving customers, and bagging food. Seriously impressive. All the seats were filled, so we ordered everything to-go. We got the famous crispy ginger chicken, spam musubi, and chicken long rice. I was hoping for oxtail soup and asked about it--she explained they only offer it on certain days and recommended calling early in the morning to check, then getting there quickly because it sells out fast. Can't wait to come back and try it. Back at the hotel, we feasted. The crispy ginger chicken is famous for a reason--so flavorful, perfectly crispy, and somehow even better the next day. The chicken long rice was packed with noodles directly in the soup (not separately) so the broth had mostly soaked into the noodles, but it was still deeply flavorful and comforting. The spam musubi leans on the sweeter side, which is great if that's your thing. Overall, this place is all about heart, hustle, and seriously satisfying Hawaiian comfort food. Come early, expect a line, plan for parking--and you'll be rewarded.

I love that they had over 9 different versions of their burgers. You can order online, using their kiosk or through a person. And you can customize to your liking. I got their Wabi Wasabi katsu burger which includes a crispy natural beef katsu topped with pepperjack cheese, wasabi mayo and tonkatsu sauce. It has a hint of spiciness which I enjoyed. The katsu was moist and fried perfectly. All their burgers come by default with pickles, red onion, tomatoes, and lots of shredded cabbage. I got it without tomatoes and it was perfect for me. Everyone enjoyed their katsu burger. Besides their delicious katsu burger I also have tried their fries and wasabi coleslaw. They have different versions of their fries, including nori fries. I got the regular sea salt fries with a wasabi aioli. It was pretty good. The wasabi coleslaw is probably the only thing I wouldn't get again. I did like that it had edamame in it but I didn't taste any wasabi. I also didn't like that it had bell peppers in it. The burgers took some times to make but it was well worth it. This location is pretty large and has plenty of places to sit and eat. They also have their own lot so parking was easy. If you are looking for an affordable Japanese fusion spot then this is definitely it. I would come back again and again when I visit Seattle.
