Spicy pork teriyaki $8.49 soooooo good
    Erica W.

I decided to try out Door Dash, and Teriyaki Plus was my lunch pick. I ordered the spicy pork teriyaki. I liked it so much, I've made Teriyaki Plus my GO TO teriyaki spot in the South end of Seattle. Recently, I called in an order, and asked what the daily special was. It was chicken and gyoza. I went with that. It was $9.99 and even came with a drink! I was happy with my choice. Their chicken is really good. Good quality, no fatty pieces and good sauce! The service is quick, the teriyaki is great & I love the daily specials!

Pretty good food. Went in during the lunch rush and still got my food in about 5 minutes. I got a chicken and beef kabob, and side if gyoza. 4 star because the meat was interesting not bad, but probably not something I'd order again. Kinda wish I just got teriyaki, definitely will next time. The service was fantastic. Friendly and quick to the flavorful variety of people that I saw come and go the times that I was there.

Service was worst than the food. Dining area was clean which is the only reason they are receiving two stars.

I agree with another reviewer (I had the seared salmon bowl when I first went) and I loved it - but I am a minority because I know the quality of the salmon was super high and I don't require a lot of sauce to enjoy it. But every time I get the mixed chirashi sushi donburi, it is just "beyond expectations." I have now gone almost a dozen times, and it feels like a treat to bring people there - Georgetown in itself is a bit of a surprise, parking is tricky but there is parking lot and the hours are great (I think till 9:00 daily) and the people and service are wonderful. My friend who speaks Japanese talked to the owner and he started this restaurant in Japan and brought it to the Seattle area about 5 years ago. It feels totally authentic, Japanese owned and run, and the quality is consistent every time.

The taste was unfortunately very bland, no significant sear in the salmon, and the soy sauce didn't add anything memorable to the bowl. The Una-Gyu Don wasn't bad, but the broiled eel with sukiyaki just wasn't special enough to make you crave it again. The location has a parking lot next door at least. Internally the dining space is narrow and fills up quickly at opening times in the weekend. Order at the counter or kiosk, and they'll deliver the food to your table, which you bus yourself at the end.

They don't take phone calls or reservations online - very old school. Which I think makes it more desirable. We ended up getting a special room with a "chabudai" style table! I was super excited because I've never experienced it before. What I did find pleasant was that although it was a lower table, there was an opening beneath the table that allowed your legs to hang rather than having to sit Indian style. Tyson was an amazing server. Was attentive, accommodated our allergies and was thoughtful with us having a young child. He was so pleasant and polite! We enjoyed the following: Baked miso glazed eggplant - YUM and melts in your mouth. Black Miso Cod Collar - this was pleasantly surprising and so delicious. Eat bite was tender and flavorful. Simple yet so appetizing. Sushi rolls were both fresh and well prepared. The nigiri was also great and fresh- not fishy. We additionally ordered takoyaki - which I normally don't love but this one was very tasty and I enjoyed the texture. Lastly karage chicken which came with a creamy slaw. Overall it was such a pleasant experience and we look forward to coming back!

Established in 1904 in the heart of Japantown, the restaurant relocated to the ground floor of the NP Hotel after its original structure was ransacked during World War II, when Seattle's Japanese community was relocated to internment camps outside the city. The hotel where Maneki now resides served as repository for family heirlooms that were left behind during that embarrassing and tragic period of American history. The joy of dining at Maneki goes well beyond the restaurant's incomparable history. The traditional Japanese menu has something for every taste, from delicious Nigiri and Maki Sushi to noodle dishes and local seafood. Pair your meal with a classic Japanese cocktail or a cold bottle of Sake, and you'll understand why this is one of Seattle's best culinary experiences. Highly recommended.

Parking is easy with a small dedicated parking lot for the restaurant. We got a lychee martini off the regular menu and got the rest of the food on the happy hour menu - spicy crunchy California roll, deep fried spicy tuna roll, salmon skin roll, spicy garlic fried chicken, and salmon skewer with noodle. The cocktail was fairly good - I am not a fan of the small chunks of ice but I liked the presentation with the addition of the chia seed The rolls were okay. $10.99 for 5 pieces in the first round is not any cheaper than a standard roll at other places, but there were 6 pieces in the deep fried spicy tuna roll in the second round. I like the spicy crunchy California roll but there was a bit too much spicy mayo. The garlic fried chicken is basically karaage with ginger garlic sauce so cross checking the regular menu, you're not really saving any money. The salmon skewer in noodle is okay price as the portion is really small. The salmon is good. Service is good as we were the only table so we could flag down a server when needed, though sometimes they are at the back so just walking a few steps is needed to get their attention.
