This is my go-to spot if I don't bring lunch to work. It's a quick four minute from where I work and I always order online to pick it up. Whenever I get there, my food is always there and ready to go. The staff here are also very kind and caring, which makes for great customer service! I have ordered other items besides the chicken katsu before and everything is quite tasty and satisfying. The prices are definitely reasonable. I decided to try out Door Dash, and Teriyaki Plus was my lunch pick. I ordered the spicy pork teriyaki. I liked it so much, I've made Teriyaki Plus my GO TO teriyaki spot in the South end of Seattle. Recently, I called in an order, and asked what the daily special was. It was chicken and gyoza. I went with that. It was $9.99 and even came with a drink! I was happy with my choice. VERY disappointing. Customer service doesn't exist here. I recently came in to try their teriyaki, when I attempted to adjust my food order from my white rice to fried rice, they gruffly told me "No! Your order had already been put in!" Mind you, this was literally seconds later. I also was willing to pay MORE for the adjusted order. Food was overpriced and underwhelming . If I could give this place a 0 I would. lady at the front counter charged me 3 times for one meal and then swore up and down it didn't go through. I tried to show her the money came out and she waved me off and continued to help the next person... not only that, but I asked to use Apple Pay and she said they didn't have it but then pulled out a newer scanner for the guy behind me and let him use Apple Pay.. they have 2 scanners behind the counter! one for scamming customers like me and the other for people they like. Ususally I can get two -three lunches out of a meal of teriyaki. not today! Wouldn't of minded paying $19 for the usual servingt size cause I realize costs have increased but the carton wasn't even half full of what I ordered. I got a chicken and beef kabob, and side if gyoza. 4 star because the meat was interesting not bad, but probably not something I'd order again. Pretty standard Teriyaki place, much frequented by employees of local businesses. I had a beef and chicken skewer combo. The rice and salad were pretty standard teriyaki joint fare. The chicken was a little dry, but fine. The beef on the other had was tough and chewy. You had to work at it before you could swallow what you were eating. It's just a case of poor quality ingredients. The folks who worked there were friendly and helpful, but I can't get past the poor quality of the beef in the beef skewer. read more

I come from across town at least once a month to have lunch here. They get my vote for best lunch in town. Great selection, fair price, quick service. I like the fact that chicken it's not smoothed in a thick, sugary sauce. Instead it's a nice flavorful sauce, light with just a very little sweetness. The daily special is all ways a great deal. The place is always neat and clean, smells good, service is friendly and fast. They do get VERY busy at lunchtime, so plan to stand in line to order and to wait for your food. read more

You can get a large chicken teriyaki for $6.50 which is a great price and the portion is huge. They do a great job and the place is always full when I am there. If you find yourself on airport way, check out this little place. Super super clean restaurant, with very tasty teriyaki, and appears to be a cool family run affair. I will be dropping in here again on my way to Costco. Unlike a couple of other reviews on here, my service was very friendly. I think it was the same woman too, because I think she does the counter, and her parents are in the kitchen. An Amazing place for teriyaki. I've eaten here many times, since I work just a couple blocks away. The food, while mediocre, is filling, sufficiently tasty and mid-range price (all of their entrees are under $10 and now other places are pricey these days.) The boneless teriyaki and chicken katsu are consistently good for me. I love their salad and dressing. I wish I know their recipes! And today my co-worker ordered Yakisoba Tofu as the first time, WE LOVED it, seriously. The way they put it all together just shows that their food is quality and by far superior to all other teriyaki places in the SODO area. They always cook-to-order, so the food always comes out fresh, I believe. I will start out by stating that I have not eaten the food here. I was too disappointed with the rudeness of the woman at the counter. I had to run up to Seattle for work at the last minute today and had to bring along my 4 yr old. After an hour and a half in the car she urgently needed to use a restroom. There aren't a lot of options along the way so it was kind of a desperate situation. When we first walked in to the restaurant through the door with the glowing "open" sign there was no one in sight. After looking around for a minute or two to see if I could spot a restroom and/or anyone to help us, someone finally came out. I asked if there was a restroom my daughter could use to which she replied, "No, they're for customers only." I had expected that much and told her I would purchase something if my daughter could use the restroom. I repeated myself about 3 times and she simply ignored me. Finally, I sharpened my tone a bit and she pointed us to the facilities. I did keep my word and bought a can of Sprite for $1.49. I understand why businesses use a customer only policy, but you would think exceptions could be made for a young child. And to be blatantly ignored when offering to make a purchase is just ridiculous. read more

The food is decent. Not the best teriyaki I've had but not the worst either. But the encounter I just had with the young women at the counter tells me it's time to move on from this place. Unfortunately for teriyaki plus there are too many options of teriyaki restaurants around for them to treat their customers like that. I'm stunned by the some of the lower marked reviews. I'm new to commenting on yelp, but I do know Teriyaki and Teriyaki Plus on airport is the best in Seattle . Most teriyaki is super fatty bad cuts of meat but at TP is top notch. I love the small family who owns the spot and they know me by name and customer service is the best (when compared to other teriyaki). I usually call in my order to avoid lunch lines (not that bad), I'm a little impatient. I love the #5 chicken kabobs. The salad dressing is out of this world. I put it on everything. I also purchase the house salad dressing and house teriyaki sauce right from the counter (a little known fact) to make my own dishes at home. Give it a shot if ur in the area.
