Got the chicken teriyaki and beef teriyaki. Chicken meat was decent but didn't like the beef. Also, didn't like the sauce too much.

We picked up an order to go. The chicken teriyaki + gyoza combo was great. We'll be back.

The restaurant itself is pretty bland and typical of a Teryaki spot. There's nothing on the walls, and it was pretty quiet while I was there, no music, just the sound of the guy cooking in back. The lady at the cash register seemed very nice. I wanted to give this place 4 stars but it's just so generic there's nothing at all that stands out. Parts of the menu have fallen off or are sun bleached out of legibility.. a few meal items are just missing a price altogether. My meal was $17 and I got a can of Dr Pepper for $2. 4 people came in to get to-go orders while I was there and all of them seemed like me; on a whim for Teryaki. Felt right at home and was a short distance from my place too. The miso soup brought me back to life after a long day working!

My husband and I have been wanting to try out Teriyaki Wok for a few years now after moving close by but never got around to it until recently. Sadly, we weren't impressed and wouldn't return or recommend. The teriyaki chicken was really dry, and the sauce didn't taste as expected - maybe not as sweet as your normal teriyaki sauce? And the salad it came with just looked sad (see photos if you need a visual). The chicken katsu was a bit better with tastier sauce. My husband also mentioned it was pricier than other teriyaki spots too? Not sure though since prices have been going up at other places during Covid too. Portions were decent (maybe too much rice actually) - comparable to most teriyaki spots. Anyways, wished we could continue to support this local spot, but we'll be traveling a bit farther from home instead when we want teriyaki again. read more

It was unbelievably slow. I was the only person in the restaurant and it took FOREVER to get a simple teriyaki chicken. Hate to rate low, but if you're in a rush don't choose this place. When the food arrived the Teriyaki sauce had a different flavor than normal which wasn't for me. read more

I got beef with veggies and it was awful and I felt sick for two days after! The meat was tangy-- not fresh and onions tasted and smelled like they were cut days before - very not fresh! It's an average spot. The prices are high and the place is sparse. The counter girl was nice but overall experience was average at best.

This place is legit teriyaki. Yeh it's a little run down but the food is grub and fairly priced. It's our go-to for teriyaki!

Poor prep. Teriyaki chicken is cold and drenched in warm bbq sauce. Edible if in a bind but def don't recommend.

It was ok. Like other reviews, the price is high for the portions we get. I got the special for the day which was Mongolian chicken and teriyaki chicken and asked for the spicy kind and it was not spicy at all, it tasted like regular teriyaki. The sauce on the teriyaki was super sweet and thick as well. The katsu was good though. I asked for no rice but add more salad but i should have gotten the salad to get my money's worth cause the salad that they gave me was not that much more. Doesn't look like much from the outside (nor from the inside mind you), and my low expectations weren't particularly tempered by the fact that the menu seems more intent on letting you know that everything and I mean everything costs extra (ie sauce, refills etc) than giving you food options. I'm surprised they don't charge extra for the luxury of having the cook wash his/her hands after restroom breaks (god I hope that wasnt on a part of the menu I missed). Nevertheless, I suppose you get what you pay for and the place was decently clean and so was the food (i hope!). I ordered the spicy chicken and it tasted quite alright. The soda machine looks like it came from the sputnik era and half its soda spouts were malfunctioning, so at first I thought they were joking when i saw the giant "WAIT! 50¢ for refill!!" signs posted everywhere. But alas it was no joke, but as they are lightning quick to inform you if you so much take a second glance with fleeting longing at the soda machine after finishing your first tiny soda cup in one swift gulp on the Puget sounds hottest day of the year. Teriyaki Wok is the jewel in the crown of Hawks Landing! We always get #7 white meat chicken with rice, crispy clean salad and fresh egg rolls. Pros: Totally delicious, affordable and relatively not UNhealthy. I mean, don't be a hog and you're ok. But that's every thing you eat, right? Cons: None. For people crying about the employees not being NICE enough, please wring the tears out of your dress. These people rule teriyaki. You don't need a big warm hug. It's called ambience. It was A-OK. This is a to go order review. We ordered the Mongolian beef, combo fried rice and dumpling soup. The smells were all there, I opened up my to go box and it smelled wonderful! Yum. When I tasted the Mongolian beef, it was a little too salty yet when I tasted the fried rice, it was bland. So I decided to mix them together to balance the taste out. I shouldn't have to do this with Chinese dishes! I was disappointed. Also the eggs in the fried rice was really salty for some reason..was it to compensate the blandness of the fried rice? The dumplings soup was okay, and it came with only 4 dumplings. The soup is filled with eggs, celery, cabbage, etc. The to-go box didn't come with napkins nor spoons :( read more

This place is really average. The cashier was really nice but everything about the place was ok. The decorations the pictures. What I really wanted was a roll but they didn't have those which was really disappointing. They don't have a ton of options so I got the classic teriyaki chicken to go. Nothing special. Bad Food Bad Value Bad Atmosphere I had the spicy chicken. A better name for it would have been dry and salty chicken scraps. They have OK white rice and the typical lame iceberg lettuce salads that old school Yaki places have. The portions are large, but with food this bad, I don't know that it really matters. If you want good Teriyaki go to Teriyaki and More in Issy. The atmosphere at this place is old and tired. I went here 20 years ago when I lived near by, the interior has not been updated since. The food has only changed for the worse. Their sauce is one of the worst I have tasted. It tastes like bad store bought sauce. **Expensive **Bad dry, bland Food I find it incredulous that they got some 5 star reviews! This was the WORST (hands down) teriyaki food I have ever had in my life! I like to support small business and cut them some slack, but this place sucked. I ordered Chicken teriyaki and Chicken Katsu to go. I was the only one in the place at 4pm-- and it took FOREVER for my order. Plus it cost WAY MORE than my normal Teriyaki haunts. It was like $11.49 for each of them--- my normal place charges $8.50. The chicken was pale and dry. Had an off-putting flavor like it had been frozen for a while, was really old, then recently defrosted. Other than that taste, it was bland. No color at all, only a tiny bit of teriyaki sauce. And unlike my other two fave joints who give you one container of sauce with the chicken-- they gave none. Katsu came with an awful sauce, tasted like from a jar. My hubs and I were hungry, so we ate it (most of it), kind of choked it down, but then finally threw it out. So bad. Visiting WA for a week with the wife, and were debating on what to get for dinner one night. Decided to go ahead and try out Teriyaki Wok, and we were very pleased with the food. Didn't have to wait too long for our food, and the prices weren't too bad either, especially considering how much food that they give you! We both got combo plates, I got teriyaki chicken and teriyaki beef, and she got teriyaki chicken and teriyaki pork. Both were delicious! The rice was great too, and mixed well with the food. We also got some dumplings, and some eggrolls as well. We weren't expecting the eggrolls to be as large as they were, but they were delicious too. Crispy and lots of flavor to them, and the dumplings had a lot of flavor too. For everything we purchased, we were both surprised at how much we got for what we paid. Paid far less than expected for the amount and quality of food we got. We will definitely go here again when we're in WA once more. read more

I should have listen to the reviews but wanted some teriyaki on my trip to Seattle. Service was nice but too a long time. Then chicken was ok but beef was awful. Craving some teriyaki so I stopped in at this place, my second time coming to this place. Both times I've ordered spicy chicken teriyaki and both times I've been disappointed. This last time was the last time I come here, the chicken was burned which I normally enjoy, but the chicken was also dry. There was no spice at all, I couldn't taste a hint of spice. I went up to the counter and mentioned that I had ordered the "spicy chicken." They said I was eating the "spicy chicken." I had to coat my chicken in sriracha to get some spice to it. I've been here twice now and their teriyaki is definitely their forte its not really worth it to try anything else on the menu. Their chicken and beef teriyaki are both great with yummy flavor and good portion size. This time I opted for won ton soup and gyoza. I did like the fact that their won ton soup had egg, lots of veggies, and broth was definitley homemade stock. I was disappointed in the fact that their was (i think) two won tons in the soup, I say I think because the soup was so hot when served that by the time I got home the won tons had completely opened and were more just like shreds of noodle floating in the broth. I have been going to this restaurant for the past 15 years. I call in an order when around lunch if heading North or South on the 405. probably have eaten there 40 times. It has been a great spot until my last few visits. The salad dressing is fantastic. The last two time the spicy chicken had been very very dry (overcooked) and chewey. I tossed half the chicken just today. for $12.00 the chicken should be fantastic since there is $.20 of rice and $.50 of lettuce given The prices have jumped with the new ownership. You do get a heep of chicken but if it is dry and chewy it is definitely not worth it. I usually order spicy chicken with doubleheader salad and no rice. Will not order from them again. read more
