And I have committed myself to finding the best bang for my buck out there. Well of course I had to try it out because well it was right around the corner from our office. It was located on a strip mall next to a massage parlor, the tattoo shop, and a turntable repair service. No I'm not going to make a judgment call about the neighbors, I will say this that is worth cruising around the parking lot to find a parking spot to get the goodness that lays Within. The place is pretty straightforward, you can order a bowl or plate, a couple sushi rolls, and a plethora of other items. But the real star of the show is the combo beef and chicken plate. I have to tell you, for $9.17 you get a ton of food. And I'm not even talking about the Casual solid that is thrown and they're off to the side. There is so much rice in teriyaki beef and chicken, that you'll be filled up and just wonder why they put the salad in there in the first place. I have to say this, I think the chicken is exemplary. It is cooked perfectly, has enough charger, and just tastes amazing. The beef at times can be a little chewy, but honestly? I really don't care, because it's so amazing. Not take my advice, you're going to want to add extra teriyaki sauce to it. They are a little bit skimpy on what they put in the box, but they'll give you one of those red ketchup condiment servers to squirt teriyaki sauce until the cows come home. I'm not kidding, they look at me like I'm robbing their life savings by how much teriyaki sauce I put it on my food. I honestly wish I had taken pictures of my food to post, but I'm sure other people have posted pictures worth seeing, my problem is, I actually ate the food and then remembered I should have taken a picture. Located off State College and Orangethorpe, with a Subway sandwich, a Tattoo place, and a cell phone repair company is this tiny mom n pop place, tucked in the corner of the strip mall. First off, remember to check in on yelp to get a discount. I forgot to check in until after I paid, and well, that was too late. The menu is pretty simple, and the bowls and plates are meat, rice with /without veggies and no fillers for a decent price. Based on the photos I saw on yelp, I went with a simple chicken and veg bowl, brown rice (extra cost I think), and requested no carrots and no broccoli (so cabbage only) and it came out exactly how I wanted it. Karen got the same but with white rice. Total for 2 bowls and 2 sodas came to under $17. The place closes at 7:30 pm, so it's not open late.
