This review is for the party trays...I went to two gatherings within a week of one another, and both served the teriyaki chicken (sauce on the side) that was piled so high for $118. Says it serves 16-20 people but we saw so much left over even after the 20 of us were filled on chicken, veggies $68 for full try and 1/2 tray of rice. I decided to order for my recurring Sunday gathering, but they are NOT open on Sundays! So with some prepping and batching, you can still take advantage of these tasty and hugely portioned trays. About an hour before serving time, Reheat at 300 with tray uncovered for 20 minutes. Stir or move the top layer of chicken around and put back in oven for another 10 minutes. Re-Cover with their foil and drizzle their teriyaki sauce right before serving so the meat doesn't get dried out. Veggies and rice trays/ batch reheat in microwave with wet/damp towels covering them. This place is a nice quick service spot if you need something fast. There's a little bit of seating inside and a few tables outside as well. It's not my favorite teriyaki spot but in a jam it'll do. We ate here mid day to save $ before heading to Disneyland. They do have decent portions so you'll definitely hit your protein macros for the day! I ordered the mixed plate and my friend ordered the mixed bowl. The portions on the plate were exactly the same as what the bowl offered except for some greens that were thrown away. The chicken tasted much better than the beef and the price was good for the bowl, but I wouldn't recommend the plate. It kills me to have to write this review. I have been going to Tikiyaki for YEARS. Food has always been amazing and the staff are great. They know so many of their customers by name and are always so friendly. Their teriyaki is the best I've ever had. Unfortunately, I ate there this past Friday (12/5/2025) at around 2pm. I ordered a standard teriyaki chicken bowl to go and ate in my truck. I ate probably half the bowl before I noticed a small, sharp piece of metal in my food. It was slightly twisted and thick. I could not straighten it with my hands and it took pliers to straighten (did this to see how strong it was and what type/where it could have came from) it was so sharp that when I picked it out of my food, it cut my hand and I was bleeding. Because of the size of it, I could have easily swallowed it without ever knowing. This is a serious health issue. Due to the fact that I ate half the meal, there was fear that I could have swallowed another piece of the metal that could have been there and I ended up in the emergency room. Because of the size of the metal fragment found, the doctor said a CT scan or X-ray would most likely not find anything that may be inside me. I was told that the next few days were critical and all I could really do was monitor for symptoms. The physician said that if I did end up with symptoms, that it's very dangerous and I would likely end up needing emergency exploratory surgery to find the metal causing damage. He also informed me that this injury as well as the surgery to fix it could cause other long term issues like lack of gastric motility. Because of this, I have no other choice but to write this review, and contact the health department. For anyone eating there, please be safe and keep an eye out for anything that may be in your food. I sincerely hope that this (or worse) does not happen to anyone else. read more

I'm so glad I ran into this place. I was recommended this location through Reddit r/orangecounty. I dropped in during the week around 7 PM. I was a little overwhelmed with the menu initially and I think the owner noticed. She was super sweet and walked me through the entire menu. She made recommendations of what's most popular. I landed on a combo plate. She also hooked it up with some extra sauce and chili, knowing that it's most of her customers prefer. I waited no more than five minutes for my food. I was so pleasantly surprised. This was some of the best teriyaki I've had in a long time. Huge portion that actually fed me for dinner and I split the rest with my husband for lunch the next day lol Definitely will be back. Just the owner's time and patience was super appreciated. It is in the OC area absolutely some of the best teriyaki bowls I've ever had pricing 10 out of 10 you get so much food for the price. I honestly thought the shrimps tasted okay. Nothing special about them. They tasted like the frozen coconut shrimps from Costco. The brown rice was cooked well, and the egg roll was delicious. 2) Chicken & Beef Plate - My partner ordered this. They were very generous with the protein! The chicken and beef were marinated well and had lots of flavor. I liked his plate better than mine lol. Pricing: The Chicken & Beef Plate was $11.99, and the Coconut Shrimp Plate was $12.99. It was like Panda Express Orange Chicken but better - crispier and not as sugary, just a great flavor with good quality chicken. For less than $9 this is a steal! My husband liked it so much that the next day when we were out running errands, he suggested grabbing lunch there again. He went with the orange chicken, and I tried the Teriyaki Chicken and Steak Bowl. Again, the portions were large and we saved half for lunch the next day.
