If you've ever been walking through Sawgrass Mills Mall, bags in both hands, and thought, "You know…read morewhat would really complete this retail journey? Sushi... delivered by conveyor belt," then Sushigami is about to be your place. Let's set expectations properly. The sushi here is not life changing. This is not the meal you'll be telling your grandchildren about. On sushi alone, it's a solid three stars. Totally fine, very average, and honestly exactly what you want when you're eating raw fish inside a mall the size of a small country. But then the conveyor belt starts rolling, and suddenly none of that matters. Plate after plate of sushi cruises past you like it's auditioning for your attention. You lock eyes with one. You make a decision. You pull it off the belt, crack open the lid, take a bite, and feel like you just won something. No waiting, no awkward server check-ins, just instant sushi gratification. The pricing system somehow turns dinner into a game. You pay by the color on the rim of the plate. Blue plate is five bucks. Orange plate is eight. Before you know it, you're stacking plates, doing mental math mid-bite, and quietly negotiating with yourself about whether one more plate is "basically free." And if nothing rolling by is calling your name, the menu has your back. The salmon tacos are the standout. They're absolutely loaded with salmon, aggressively messy, and require a full commitment to eating like a feral raccoon. Delicious, sloppy, and worth it. So yes, Sushigami lands at three stars overall. The sushi is average, but the experience is fun, fast, and strangely entertaining. Where else can you sit in the middle of a mall, watch sushi parade past you, and eat until your shopping fatigue completely disappears? Not fine dining. Not a hidden gem. Just a good time, some decent sushi, and a conveyor belt that understands the assignment.

So this was actually my second time at Naori, and I brought my brother and my childhood best friend…read moreTatiana because I wanted her to experience it too. I had a great time the first time, and yep it's still that girl. Let's talk about the vibe real quick. The ambiance is everything. Modern, and just really well put together. From the furniture textures to the contrast in colors it all feels super intentional but still chill. Like, they knew what they were doing when they designed this place. 10/10 on the setting alone. Let's get down to the items shall we? What We Had Drinks ____________________ + Naori Signature Drink ($15) : 8.4/10 This one's made with Pisco Berries and Triple Sec. It's a layered, fruity cocktail that's a little more complex. Personally, I prefer the Pisco Sour it's cleaner and more balanced for my taste. But if you like citrusy and berry-forward drinks, you might love this one. Again, these are my reviews based on my taste buds. You might feel differently and that's ok honey. + Espresso Martini ($16) : 9/10 Strong, chocolatey, and gets the job done. + Lychee Martini ($16) : 8.6/10 Clean and balanced. Not too sweet, just smooth and refreshing + Pisco Sour ($16) : 10/10 My fave. Fruity, with this nice cold foam on top. Pretty sure there were peach or passionfruit notes in there. So good. * Shots - We also did a round (Don Julio, I think), and it kept the vibe going. Appetizers/Entrees __________________ +Nikkei Tiradito ($19) : 10/10 Thin tuna slices with a shouyu sauce that had a little citrusy kick. I could've had another plate just for myself. +Grilled Octopus ($20) : 8.4/10 This was good! Cooked well, had a nice char. Not my favorite thing on the table, but still strong comes with Peruvian corn and potato. +Arroz Chaufa Special ($24) : 10/10 Babyyy this dish was everything. Wok-fried rice, perfectly seasoned. That filet was so tender, and the shrimp just brought it all together. Easy standing ovation for me. * Dessert - I honestly can't remember what we ordered for dessert, but it was decent. Nothing crazy. I'd give it a 7/10. Overall Experience: 10/10 Customer Service: 10/10 Would I Be Back? Without a doubt. I even told my mom about this place and I think she went a couple months ago! This establishment has been Tamied™.

Just as fresh, decadent, and insanely good value as we remember. Chef infused some of the courses with local ingredients which made the tasting truly one-of-a-kind. You have to reserve ahead of time, and they kindly accommodated our limited availability. We literally fast the day of, because this is not a light omakase, you will leave full with a smile on your face! The sushi bar is tucked in the back giving you the cozy omakase experience, but behind you is the family friendly table area if that's more your style. Speaking of we met several of chef's family members that night, a testament to the love and care that goes into the food and service. Same as every other time we've been, several "regulars" swung by to thank chef after their meal. Our server was so friendly and helpful. This place is clearly a community staple. Can't forget dessert (included with Omakase), we went with the tempura cheesecake and ube flan, and they were sooo good. We are also excited to try their other location, Sticky Rice!
