Teriyaki chicken breast with veggies and noodles.

Friendly service with hot and quick served food make Teriyaki Madness a great stop for quick dinner. We ordered dinners to go, and they were ready in less than five minutes. The dining area is casual, and while small, I would think people rotate in and out quickly. Our food was packaged nice and clean, with no worries of spills in the ride home in their plastic bowls with secure fitting lids, which is a nice touch. My husband had an order of the orange chicken with stir fried veggies and noodles. He liked all of the components separately but said he didn't think the orange chicken and noodles were the best combo, but he said it was his fault and should have ordered it with rice. Overall, it was delicious. I had the teriyaki chicken breast with veggies and noodles and loved every bite! The chicken had perfect char and remained juicy. The vegetable mix contained cabbage, broccoli, zucchini, carrots, and onion and were cooked without becoming soggy. The sauce they pack with the to go order was perfect to drizzle across the top. I feel like the prices are average but the value is great. The serving was plenty large enough for two meals. I would recommend giving them a try for a quick to go dinner.

The JR steak teriyaki bowl- gross steak was mushy and looked like dog food while the noodles were uneditable. Gross gross gross.

I am very honest when I do my reviews. I do my best to not exaggerate because I don't want false hope. This is my 3 rd time giving this place a try. The 1st time I didn't remember how many things went wrong and how the food tasted so not up to par. The 2nd time I ordered it was just my daughter and I and I thought I remembered good and yummy meal but one bite with my 3rd time today and all the memories of the taste and smells came flooding back. This food is by far one of the worst hibachi fast food places EVER. Our meal was close to $40. We ordered 2 JR meals - 1 chicken breast w fried rice and one steak with noodles minus the veggies on both, we also had 1 reg chicken breast w noodles and veggies. I also ordered a side of fried rice and 2 orders of edamame. So 1/2 JR meals was correct but the chicken was rubbery and flavorless and the JR steak looked like cat food (my 11 yr olds words not mine) and it was less then 1/4 cup of meat. The noodles was dry and rubbery. The REG chicken breast was prepared correctly but chicken was rubbery and cold and noodles where kind of crunchy but still editable. The extra fried rice was more of the dry noodles- so that one was wrong. As as far as the edamame they were not very hot and really puny pods w tiny beans and incredibly salty. I am sorry I don't know if it's the staff or the recipes or maybe a little bit of both but for the price and promises I expect a much better quality and quantity of food. Needless to say my family will never return to this chain again. My only hope is someone reads this and does something to change it or it will not last long in our town. We are a bit of food snobs and don't want to pay for bad food. If I could have given this a zero I would have. Oh I almost forgot when I placed my order it was correct but when I received my email receipt it had extra food added onto it. Not sure if this was an error or a scam. I did call the company and they corrected it. Well they said they did and I should see a refund in the next few business days. I'll be watching for it. If I don't receive it then I will think it's a scam. But for the good of people I hope not.

The fried rice is so good! The original chicken teriyaki is just so good. The smallest size you can order is called a "junior." I love that I could get a small portion since I don't normally eat a whole lot. The Yakisoba is just okay but it tastes better than the other Yakisoba I had. And they have a free teriyaki sauce on the table which is great!

Old chicken katsu and way too much salty cabbage.

The food was old, cold and plain gross. The food was overpriced. I was highly disappointed. Never against

I have to say that the staff is amazingly outstanding:) but the food in my opinion does not do any justice as far as taste, flavor and presentation:( I tried the spicy chicken, a very disappointing experience! The spicy chicken is spicy with no flavor other than lots of sugar, teriyaki and a somehow someone let it burn, because it had a lingering burnt after taste! My husband had teriyaki beef which was over cooked beef loaded with sugar and teriyaki:( the vegetables are advertised as diverse and fresh? Mostly cabbage:( Please cook fresh with flavor

Good food. Sad to say won't be going back as workers didn't wear face masks. Do they care about us?

Stopped in with the family after church, made a drive out to Madison because the wife wanted Ramen…read moreand we'd never been here. Kind of a hole in the wall place - seating is limited, one comfy four top and then a lot of stuff mostly designed for 1-2 people. The booths can hold 4 people, but it will be a tight 4. They will hand you a menu when you come in, but you will order at the counter when you are ready. Water and unsweet tea were self serve and free, they had canned Coke products (no Coke Zero) -- all the dishes were served in togo/disposable containers. Employees were extremely friendly. We ordered a variety of dishes to sample everything; shrimp katsu plate, chicken gyoza, chicken katsu, beef curry rice and tonkotsu Ramen. Prices are reasonable for Huntville - Curry or Ramen dishes are $15, Katsu plates $12, and Kids (Keiki) are $8. Portions were good and food came out quickly. Wife is half Asian and said all the food was food for the most part. She enjoyed her Ramen and my Curry. I was not a fan of the gyoza (might have been it being chicken and not pork) and felt the sear was light. Vegetables in my curry were huge, but that's a nitpick. Both my kids ate their ketsu and rice without complaint; chicken ketsu I stole was moist. Definitely give it a shot!

Funny thing about Huntsville's food scene is that it's really hard to find local spots that 1. Last…read moreand 2. Are worth mentioning. But... Where they exist they're embraced. People started mentioning Miso Happy to me a solid year and a half before I finally went. Then it was a... Tsunami. I've always brought no less than 4 people and thrice now there's been groups of teens on tatami mats and gallons of boba. I think what makes Miso Happy is it's ability to be approachable but also fairly authentic in its offerings. This building was... something else. This restaurant used to be called Edo, like the old world Japanese capital and a ton of American Japanese steakhouse across the nation. It looks like a traditional sukiya-zukuri which really has a casual but refined "vibe"... Great for friends and family alike. If you have a group, there's tatami and seiza setting --be advised: drop your shoes and your butt closer to the floor. There's also an embrace of this anime wave as Totoro motif that somehow fits. The staff is inviting and works to accommodate changes as they come up. Now I haven't tried every sushi roll in the place yet but it's reliably fresh and tasty. There's no euphoric or transcendent experience to be had as far as I've experienced BUT... They don't miss, either. There's also donburi and hibachi, bento boxes and lots of "comfortable" dishes to make everybody feel at home. And then there's the ramen. It's among the best in Huntsville... and that's considering even some favorite ramenya in town like Kamado and new comers like Kyuramen. The broths are distinguishable, deeply flavored and has something for just about everyone: shoyu, tonkatsu, beef and veggje/miso options in deep tetsu bowls with a really nice aesthetic. I tried the big wave poke bowl last time and they're also satisfying... Further pushing the idea that Miso Happy is a great Japanese generalist in town. Food: 4.5/5.00 - near tops in the genre locally Atmosphere: 4.25/5.00 - a melding of worlds done well Service: 4.25 - never had a bad visit X-Factor: 4.5 - such a vibe regardless of what you're expecting Overall: 4.375/5.00 Ps: There's a little garden to the left of the entrance that's worth just stopping to admire, especially in good weather.

The exterior alone is adorable! A traditional Japanese building with little figurines and even a large Totoro in the garden. It felt whimsical and nostalgic. I was seated right away and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, checking in without being intrusive. The owner even stopped by each table to make sure everything was perfect but didn't linger too long. I started with the takoyaki, and it was one of the best I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and the octopus was tender. The sauce and bonito flakes were just the right amount. For my entree, I ordered the curry chicken katsu lunch special, which comes with a soup or salad. I chose the miso soup since it was cold out and it was absolutely the right choice. The katsu was perfectly crispy and paired beautifully with the rich Japanese curry. I especially loved the big pieces of mushrooms and onions in the curry. Before heading out, I ordered a lychee green tea with boba and lychee jelly to go. The boba was perfect and didn't get tough sitting in the cold drink like some places. 10/10 would go back and would recommend to anyone who is looking for an authentic and fun Japanese restaurant.

The California Rolls were well made, tasty, and satisfied my desire to drown them in wasabi. The mild flavors tickled my palate after my wasabi dive! 5/5 Black bean noodles, aka Jjajangmyeon was delicious. My only complaint was it didn't taste quite as good as the first time I ate them at Four Leaves. They were saltier this time but not so salty I couldn't eat them. If you read my reviews, I do not care for food with too much salt. The noodles were great and I will buy them again. 5/5 The nice manager from my previous visit still works there too! The staff was nice and timely in responding and checking on the table. The tiger roll was really good! Love a good roll with shrimp tempura and eel sauce. The fire mountain was okay but not my favorite. I didn't expect the salmon to be cold maybe the picture was deceiving and I don't read the description well. The red fish was okay. Lightly breaded not really seasoned in my opinion but cooked almost perfectly. It was a pretty display how they batter and fry the skeleton but the sauce that came with it compensated for the lack is seasoning on the fish. General Tso's chicken never disappoints. Classic Chinese dish over sticky rice was really good and the broccoli was steamed to a great texture. Overall good experience here. Never had a bad meal or service from this place.
