Needed something super quick before my next work session! I wasn't feeling anything "fast foodie" related and have been wanting to increase my protein intake sooo.. ofc I naturally went for Teriyaki Madness! Did I need or want the extra veggies with the rice? Nahh.. i'm particular in how my veggies are cooked. But, just the teriyaki chicken with rice in a junior bowl was enough to fulfill my lunch slump hunger! I didn't even need the extra sauce it comes with! Ooh! a tip on adding veggies though that I think would be amazing IF they had shredded lettuce as a veggie side since it would soak up that yummy teriyaki sauce! Teriyaki madness, ya feel me on that? At first we assumed Teriyaki Madness wouldn't have gluten free options since teriyaki sauce typically includes gluten; however, after looking online we were pleasantly wrong! Most of Teriyaki Madness' options are already gluten free without making any requests or modifications. The menu is easy to read and straight forward. Build your bowl, choose a protein and a base - vegetables are included in all bowls. We got their basic chicken teriyaki as our protein and upgraded the base option to fried rice. The bowls came out hot and everything tasted great. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the fried rice was very tasty, had good size pieces of egg throughout, and had a nice fluffy texture. The veggies were mostly broccoli and cabbage and had a nice crunch while still being cooked. I'd be more than happy to go back to Teriyaki Madness! The chicken was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly -- the sauce had that ideal balance of sweet and savory without being too heavy. The portions were generous for the price, and the rice was nice and fluffy. The service was friendly and fast, even during a busy lunch rush. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the veggies could've been a bit fresher and the dining area could use a little more atmosphere. We came in for dinner. The menus were so high near the ceiling, we could not read them Also, with no lighting, we couldn't read the menus because they were in the dark. (Why have menus placed where folks can't read them?) We did see a smaller menu on the counter, but it was stuck to the counter. As my family are huge fans of Teriyaki Madness I feel that this location could use some improvement. My mom ordered Teriyaki Madness for my family for dinner through UberEats and when we got our order we discovered they had given us NO napkins NO teriyaki sauce and then to top it all off our food was cold. And my family has never had this problem with Teriyaki Madness before and my logical guess is that they let food sit out on the counter turning cold while waiting for other people to get their food. But our food tasted good and never has let us down before. But I think Teriyaki Madness could at least give you sauces and napkins with each order and that would seriously be a good improvement indeed read more

My review will be based on the fact that we have tried the other location in Marina many MANY TIMES and absolutely loved it. We were extremely excited to hear that they were opening one up here close to our house the first time we had tried it. It was late in the evening and we didn't feel that was giving them the best opportunity to shine. We went late they had just opened their doors as a new business, so we put everything aside and decided to try them again mid day after they have been open for a while I stopped in yesterday about 2 o'clock. I would like to say the girl at the register was extremely sweet and this review is in no reflection of her because her service was good she was sweet and she was very courteous. Now let me get to the food, we pretty much get the same thing every time and like I said, we have patronized theMarina location many times ... with that being said we thought the food was actually horrible. There was no sauce and when you order it yakosaba (spelling) style that means that the vegetables and the noodles are cooked together with the sauce as you can see are dry Ramen noodles, and barely cooked broccoli was not the case. They did not hive us the teriyaki sauce that comes with the bowls. Also, when I placed the order, I asked for less noodles and more vegetables- I'm pretty sure we were charged for more vegetables and a second protein in my medium bowl and that's ok if that's what we got. We didn't.The Rangoons were pretty burnt kinda disappointing due to those being my favorite. 60 dollar lunch and very very disappointed. read more

I want to thank Teriyaki Madness for offering gluten free teriyaki sauce. My daughter has celiac and it's very difficult to find food out that she can safely eat. We just visited Teriyaki Madness for the first time a couple of weeks ago while we were traveling home from central coast. The food was good and my daughter was able to get a chicken and rice bowl with teriyaki sauce. I looked them up and found they have restaurants in San Jose too. Yay!
