Chicken Teriyaki Bento with fried chicken dumplings, vegetable spring rolls, and noodles
    Teddy S.

So far so good! All items are fresh and made to order. Ordering is a breeze either online or in person. You choose your add-ons and everything right up front and then move down a line to the pick up station. You can see the grill masters working through the steam, but you can't actually see the food being made. The smells though are incredible. I got the Chicken Teriyaki Bento and it came with two vegetable spring rolls, three fried chicken dumplings, and a salad. It normally comes with white or fried rice but I substituted noodles for an extra dollar. This is my favorite kind of teriyaki. It wasn't sweet at all. It was charred and smoky and had a nice nutty flavor. The spring rolls were light and had a nice crunch. The dumplings were okay. I think the other items overshadowed it. I didn't get much flavor from them to be honest. The salad was just iceberg lettuce with that dressing which I never know what it is and I should probably ask them before finishing this review. The bento box was solid and it was a good price. I'll definitely get it again. They also offer sushi rolls and poke. Their beverages are a mix of coke cans, ginger, ale and seltzers. They also have Snapple and water. They just opened literally this week but there seems to be a lot of buzz. I think it's a great addition to the neighborhood. Stop by and show them some love!

It's just a fast food sushi joint. I got the teriyaki steak teriyaki and a spicy tuna roll. Everything look fresh and and the food looked delicious. However, I don't think I was eating real beef. it was very chewy and rubbery I mean, how can I get real steak for $10? Made no sense pile on the rice, I can't trust the meat I cant trust glue meat

    Chicken Beef Bento with shrimp

I had been craving a bento box and decide to treat myself to lunch. I looked up a ton of reviews and their portion size was hefty for the cost. Cause y'all know once you add on all the Uber fees and tip, you're pretty much paying for an extra meal. lol What first stood out was the fried spring roll and dumpling accompaniment. Usually, I really appreciate the shumai or California roll because it adds a freshness to the meal. So even though it was tasty, the dumplings and spring rolls were very greasy. And sometimes...the point is a greasy cheat meal so if you're into that this is for you. The side salad had a dressing that reminded me of the special sauce on Big Mac, not the traditional carrot ginger dressing which I actually really love. And for meat I got the chicken & beef with shrimp add-on. I will say, they do not skimp on the meat! You get a lot and it's filling but it was missing that teriyaki sweetness I like. You know how you go to mall food courts and get that perfect juicy piece of chicken teriyaki, this was not exactly it and I added my own sauce to the meat. I mean reminded me of a stir-fry with a light sauce but wasn't covered in that glaze sweet sauce. One strange thing though, the rice had this interesting smell. It reminded me of peanut butter or peanut oil which is strange. It honestly through me off when eating it but when I smelled the meat, it didn't smell like peanut oil or butter. I didn't care for the rice. The rice grains were loose and it wasn't sticky sushi rice. So overall the meal was hefty and it was a large portion. It was on the greasier side for me and I had trouble figuring out why the rice specifically smelled like peanut butter/oil. Do with that what you will.

Not great, not terrible, right in the middle at what we call decent. I had a moment of weakness the other day and decided to order out instead of cooking. In retrospect, I should've cooked cause the meal wasn't all that. You know the DoorDash guilt you get after you spend $30 on a meal that would've costed you $15 in person? And I literally could have walked because they aren't far from me, I was just lazy and it was ridiculously hot that day. Anyway, I got the Chicken Teriyaki platter with no veggies for a whopping $12 and a Cali roll for $8. Total with fees and everything came out to $26. Like I said earlier, it was decent. I asked them not to put sauce on the rice so they just opted to not put sauce on the chicken too which was... a choice. Can't complain though cause if I had gone in person, I would've been able to explain better. I just wanted my chicken on one side and rice on the other. I hate when my rice gets soaked in sauce cause I like to control the ratio. But this way, y'all can see what the chicken looks like when it's not doused in teriyaki. Not bad but no flavor. And their sauce isn't that flavorful either so it was just okay. The Cali roll was saltier than the chicken but it got the job done for me as far as sushi goes. It was exactly what I needed it to be, lol, I'm not a real sushi person. If you're a connoisseur, it might not be all that for you. I put some kimchi on top of each piece and it was yum.com. Would I eat here again? Sure, if I went in person.

It was a Sunday afternoon and I didn't feel like cooking once I got home so I was in my neighborhood and didn't want to pay Uber eats a million bucks so I wanted to try something new and stumbled across this food spot I was craving a salmon bento box (I used to always get that when I worked in the city) this place looked appealing so I decided to try I ordered my food took it home and was amazed food was fresh , tasteful and very filling I took a nap just after eating my bento box lol then woke up and ate the rest of my angry dragon roll, service was great cashier was nice and kind to me and the guy that prepared my food was sweet this is definitely my new go to food spot. The ambiance of the place was cool , spacious and clean I didn't stay because I wanted to eat at home but you can definitely go here with a nice size group of friends definitely recommend this place happy it's in my neighborhood

Food: 3/5 I'm a huge sushi fan, so I was excited when I saw a deluxe sashimi set on the menu. Unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark. The scallop was thinly sliced and lacked the rich texture I was hoping for. The salmon and other cuts were decent, but short and oddly shaped--chunky yet small, which made the whole presentation feel a bit off for something labeled deluxe. We also tried to branch out and ordered the short rib entree. For $21, it was shockingly small--definitely a single-person portion, not sharable. I added extra ikura to a salmon donburi bowl for $2, but it was barely a teaspoon's worth--just enough to say it was there. Oddly, the salmon slices in that bowl were thinner than the sashimi we had just eaten, and overall, it left me still hungry even after sharing a maki roll. Lastly, my husband ordered a green salad, which somehow took the entire meal service to arrive. When it finally came, it was just plain romaine, cucumbers, radish, and dressing. For a dinner that clocked in at over $150 (after tip), we definitely left underwhelmed. Service: 3/5 This part wasn't bad, just confusing. We were seated quickly, but the pacing of the meal was strange. Our seaweed salad and soups came out promptly, but the green salad came last, after the hot dishes and nearly after my husband finished eating. Also, a small thing--but when I'm paying $16 for four oysters, I want to know what kind they are. The menu just said "West Coast oysters," but our server couldn't tell us the variety or origin. Not a huge deal, but it added to a general lack of polish that didn't quite match the pricing. I don't think I'd return. For the price, there are better sushi options in Brooklyn with higher quality, better portions, and clearer service. Still, I appreciate new spots opening up in the neighborhood, and I'm always happy to try something new. Hopefully they refine the menu and service with time.

We started with the salmon belly carpaccio which I'd say isn't really a carpaccio because the salmon isn't sliced as thinly as you'd expect. But! I mention that just to set expectations. Nomenclature aside, it's an excellent appetizer. Served in a truffle and ponzu sauce, the salmon is lightly seared which yields two different textures to the fish. It practically melts in your mouth. Highly recommend this dish. For my entree I went with the trio don, which is 6 pieces of sashimi served over your choice of plain or sushi rice (sushi rice for me). The fish was fresh and flavorful. The portion was perfect for me. My boyfriend ordered a yellowtail roll and enjoyed that as well. We also shared a carafe of the cold house sake. I'd definitely come back and try more items on the menu. It's great for sharing and trying new dishes. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable.

Lots of people came in and out for takeout orders so that seems to be more of the target audience. Service was quick and polite, we were there until 9:30 and they definitely seemed ready for us to be out of there before the 10PM closing time. As for the specialty rolls, there were some pretty creative options - don't shy away from seemingly odd combinations because the flavors really do work well together. I appreciated the rice:fish ratio on all the rolls, the rice was a thin layer letting the flavor of the other ingredients really come through. The plain spicy tuna roll on the other hand was filled with spicy tuna mixed with something crunchy - maybe puffed rice? It seemed to be an unnecessary filler, I would have preferred just fish. I enjoyed the Lovers Dream and Golden Sunset roll the most. While I was debating it while ordering, in hindsight I would definitely get two rolls per person, maybe more if you're really hungry.
