WOW.. a pleasant surprise! Delicious flavors, properly prepped & presented. A step up for sure & thankful to have Asian in town. Only thing would like abit more "sauce". Especially impressed by the gracious "curbside delivery"!

I was hanging out at the state park in Blaine. Afterward I got hungry. So I looked up what was nearby and called them on my phone and ordered from the park. By the time I drove over to pick it up my order was ready. The lady who worked there and brought my food to me was very nice and sweet. I got a chicken bowl. Comes with teriyaki chicken, rice and veggies. Also a honeydew flavored bubble tea. I haven't had a bubble tea in years, use to get them all the time. It was delicious. They had lots of flavors to choose from. She gave me a menu to take home and they have lots of other tasty sounding dishes as well. They are only open for pick up orders right now. So when you arive call the number on the door and they will bring the order out to you.

Great flavors, generous helpings with curbside service! A winner for sure, especially the "lunch time" selections...

Please note my review is on take out food and I did not go inside the establishment. I got the chicken breast teriyaki and was really pleased with the flavors, portions and textures. The rice was sticky and flavorful, the veggies were cooked yet still crisp, and the chicken was well seasoned and quality. The teriyaki sauce was great on top, although I would have liked a little extra. I'll ask next time. I felt the price reflected the portion and quality. I had leftovers for sure!!

Coming back from Canada we stopped here after waiting 2 hours at the border crossing. Overall not a bad place to eat for the location. The gyoza and egg rolls had an odd lemon taste. Either they had to much lemongrass in them or the oil they were cooked in had lemons in it. Not sure. The teriyaki and steamed veggies was mediocre the chicken breast was dry so I had to drown it in save to eat it. The boba however was fantastic coconut boba with jelly was fantastic. I will but be visiting here again.

The prices are steep as each sushi roll is about $20+. The food tasted delicious, and there is also live music from Thursday to Sunday! It's a good place to get Asian food if you don't feel like driving elsewhere after spending a good amount of time at the NEXUS office.

HOLY MOLY SUSHI-ROLLY!!!!…read more I totally did not understand the restaurant name until the arrival of our sushi to the table. It was MONSTEROUS!! I would recommend ordering 1/2-1/3 you usually order. It's so big you will need to lift weights for a week before to pass your plates! This is an entertainment experience. I give a 4+ for entertainment. It is sensory overload, in a good way. Who doesn't want Lisa the robot to bring you your food? The piano live entertainment was great and the decor takes you to a "land" Disney never knew it needed. Service was great and friendly. The sushi size was great but I felt the quality was not as great. It may be the fact that on such a large scale the flavors don't mix as well. I did not like the roll with the smoked salmon either, I would much rather have a quality fresh salmon. The "cherry" roll with scallops, I did not see scallops, I think they were minced? It was very nice having free soups and free soft serve dessert. That certainly added to the value. The sour soup has too much vinegar in my opinion, go with the miso its much better altho did not taste quite traditional (darker broth). All in all, everyone should go here at least once for the experience! Oh and as last mention, the menu is huge!! If you don't like sushi or even asian they have hamburgers and even pizza on request! Def one of the most diverse sushi bar menus I have ever seen.

MaguroGuy had decent reviews and was not too far off the highway, so we decided to detour there. We overordered (as you can see from photos) but since we're used to things being tiny and unsatisfying, we had no idea what we were getting into. The lunch special is great, and my companion didn't need the extra rolls with it, though they were really tasty. I ordered a smattering of rolls, and was quite full. The fish is good, there are slightly heavier on rice than other places, but at least there was a good variety to choose from. We opted to skip the sashimi platter as it was $80, way higher than anywhere else we normally go. The parking is fine, it's in a lot, and it was daytime but had a decent number of lights. Service was quite friendly, and the ambiance of the restaurant was very cozy, despite it being a decent size. There are a hundred other sushi places in the area to try, but MaguroGuy was a solid experience and I would go back.

The hamachi nigiri was large, with a strange yellow/orange coloring (I have had hamachi hundreds of times and never ever seen it look like this). The texture was mushy, the flavor unlike any hamachi I have had before - a tough one. The salmon oshi was cold and the salmon tasted fishy/old (again, have had this many many places, so it isn't like I am judging against the first time trying oshi). Lastly, the old owner used to have a Banana Crunch Roll that was the bomb. Why this owner didn't learn how to make it and keep it on the menu is a head scratcher. On a positive note, the size of the fish portions were generous.
