We ordered: - spicy chicken - taro slush with boba For a regular order of teriyaki, it was like $10-11. For the spicy chicken it was closer to $13. I'd say to save a few bucks, order the regular teriyaki and go home and put some sriracha on it, and you've got yourself a spicy chicken teriyaki! The upcharge for spicy isn't worth it to me. As for the food, I found it to be tasty, but nothing really to write home about as they say. Cody found it to be a lil too saucy. We had 2 sides of plain teriyaki sauce we tasted but didn't use, it was ok. I liked the cabbage slaw it came with, Cody did not. I also tried the taro slush with boba and their boba was not great. I ordered the Spicy Chicken & Beef Combo with Brown Rice this time around. Price came out to around $20 after tax/tip. Adding spicy to the meat and brown rice to the dish added about an extra $4. They are a few dollars more than some of the other local places but well worth the money in my opinion. The quality of the chicken and beef were great and cooked perfectly. Nonetheless, the entree was freshly prepared, well-seasoned, and very tasty. Picked up dinner here last night for the first time and thought it wasn't bad...went with the standard chicken teriyaki meal that comes with a small slaw salad. Initially I thought this place was a bit more expensive than other teriyaki joints, but after receiving my meal, it seems like a fair price. You could probably eat the whole meal in one sitting, although I was ok with making two reasonably sized meals out of it. The place was busy, the chicken and salad were good, but some of the rice got a little soggy and the chicken seems like it my have been weighted or pressed too much. The meat was pretty flat and could have been a little juicier. I'd eat here again for sure, but nothing to drive out of the way for. The place wasn't busy, and the food arrived relatively fast - ten minute wait for two plates of teriyaki. I ordered "chicken teriyaki" $9.49 (as of Feb 2020) and it was very very bad, specifically the sauce. It was way too sweet and I could not finish my meal. I was loyal to this place for a while. But then things got bad, and expensive. Today my order of two teriyakis came to 32? How that happened is beyond me, but I paid because is convenient to the errand that I had to do and was pressed on time. But I'm not giving it one star based on the price. The kicker for today was that when I came back for my food (after running to Freddy's while they made it), I saw 5 boxes of raw chicken thighs sitting by the door. Full boxes that clearly say KEEP FROZEN, but we're barely cool to the touch and had no condensation around them which made me think they had been there the whole day, maybe week? I weighed my options, and after remembering the amount I paid and how hungry I was I took the food home and prayed that at least our chicken was semi fresh since the chicken had been delivered.
