The food was excellent. Came out in less than 5 minutes. Large portions so i had left overs for later. The older gal who might be the owner was especially nice and welcoming.

We were at Fred Meyer grocery shopping and decided to pick up dinner here before we headed home. Convenient location near one of the Fred entrances (this location has 3 doors, this place is near the produce area). We ordered: - spicy chicken - taro slush with boba For a regular order of teriyaki, it was like $10-11. For the spicy chicken it was closer to $13. I'd say to save a few bucks, order the regular teriyaki and go home and put some sriracha on it, and you've got yourself a spicy chicken teriyaki! The upcharge for spicy isn't worth it to me. As for the food, I found it to be tasty, but nothing really to write home about as they say. Cody found it to be a lil too saucy. We had 2 sides of plain teriyaki sauce we tasted but didn't use, it was ok. I liked the cabbage slaw it came with, Cody did not. I also tried the taro slush with boba and their boba was not great. Overall, it was just ok. Convenient location. We have other places we like better.

Another great teriyaki find in Lynnwood! Have been here once before and was fairly impressed with the selection and quality of the food. I ordered the Spicy Chicken & Beef Combo with Brown Rice this time around. Price came out to around $20 after tax/tip. Adding spicy to the meat and brown rice to the dish added about an extra $4. They are a few dollars more than some of the other local places but well worth the money in my opinion. The quality of the chicken and beef were great and cooked perfectly. If you're in the Lynnwood area and want some great teriyaki, I would highly suggest checking out Teriyaki Town; next to the Fred Myer on 196th.

Where to begin... Everything is dry to the bone. Don't expect ANY chicken in the Katsu chicken meal. Heavens forbid you would like a sauce to help with the dryness because one tiny sauce is half a dollar. Bubble tea was nasty.. basically drinking powder mixed with tiny bit of water and ice.

Had the bowl, the sauce was amazing and the chicken. Overall10/10 not bad and honestly the same if not better than Panda Express

Not bad ! The food was amazing and the quality was the same if not better than Panda Express. You can tell they take time to cook their food.

Great flavor on the toughest beef ever! No chopsticks, no dressing on the shredded cabbage. Oh, and the beef, I can't believe the poor quality, mostly gristle. Seriously.

Somewhat pricey but the quality is pretty decent. Been a while since I had a Natucket beverage, but this place has an assorted of nearly every flavor in a bottle. The beverage I chose was a Nantucket (pomegranate pear flavor). The lady charged me an extra two bucks for fried rice, which was apart of the General Tao combo with the chicken teriyaki that I ordered. Nonetheless, the entree was freshly prepared, well-seasoned, and very tasty. The ambiance was pretty laid back, but the background music sucked; felt like I was in a restaurant in the backwoods of Alabama (no offense to anyone from that area; I'm not a fan of slow rock, classic rock, or country music). Anyway, food was delicious, portions were satiable, and the restaurant was clean.

Really good short ribs! A little on the pricey end but I appreciate the large quantity and high quality! Will def be back!

So they must have ironed out opening kinks because we had a better experience this time around. The katsu we ordered were all good. The rosu pork is my preferred cut, because it is a little fattier than the tenderloin. It was tender and crunchy outside. I loved the grated radish. One of us got the salmon katsu and she loved it. It was a thick slice, but it looked moist inside. Our server was really nice and knowledgeable with her suggestions. The food came out without much wait, even if they were about 80% full. The server was attentive, always asking us how our food was and refilling our ice waters. Love the space and tasty, simple decor of this restaurant. There's covered parking attached to the apartment complex above. This place is surely comparable to the other katsu places here in Seattle. I'm glad it's in our neighborhood.

It was light and fluffy and full of flavor. It came with a traditional cabbage salad which was very refreshing. The udon curry was right up my wife's alley, and I do like curry but I'm not the biggest udon noodle fan. It still was very full of flavor and delicious. Side note, the dressing or sauce that was in the table was let me say to die for. We put it on everything. If I had it on hand all the time it would probably be a condiment that I used on a very regular basis. The service was top notch and our server was very sweet and patient. We took awhile to look over the whole menu and there are so many things that I would come back for just to try. The only let down was the edamame as it is a staple that we usually order at any restaurant when available. They were very hot and cold and felt like it was a frozen edamame that was nuked in the microwave. The establishment itself was very modern looking with a very clean vibe. We will definitely be back. This is definitely a spot in lynnwood that needs more love from people. Then again, it could be packed all the time, but we were there very early on Mother's Day.

I with 3 other adults and 2 kids (middle and elementary school), and we sat in a booth. The kids loved the revolving belt and putting the plates into the slot for a prize! The server was also really kind and switched out a red ball prize for a blue one instead. I like that you can order the same nigiri, rolls, and more (like udon, fried foods, and other entrees) via touchscreen. They'll make it for you and send it zipping down on the top belt! I wish they had a portable screen, like the ordering iPad at Hai Di Lao where everyone can take a look through the screen. It was a bit difficult to order because I was on the outer end of the booth, but the kids were right next to the belt and the screen. Fish quality and everything was decent--not blow you away highest quality, but as expected for a revolving belt sushi restaurant that values quick turnaround. The knife work on the fish is replacement level and leads to bad cuts being served. The rolls that have mayo in it have way more mayo than is palettable. On my fourth and final visit I found a hair sticking out from one of my pieces of nigiri. I ordered a replacement and the next piece of nigiri that came out had something in the flesh that should have never been sent out, so I sent that back too and asked for my check immediately. The service is low-effort even for a revolving sushi place. Also the waiting area being outside only just feels disrespectful and detracts from the atmosphere/experience.

Yet, it's disappointing to say that we've been sourly disappointed the last 2-3 times we came here. Not sure if it's management change or something happened, but Nakagawa lost its magic with us. 1. The service has been terribly slow and just not inviting anymore. After ordering, we waited easily 35-40 min for the food. I know it takes time to meticulously prep rolls, but after 30 min of just sitting and waiting, you can't help but start feeling hangry. And this isn't just a one-time occurrence - this happened multiple times for us. 2. The bento box quality. I LOVE bento boxes - it was such a treat to dine on so many different Japanese options, like a sampler box of goodness. Ranging from nigiri to sushi, from tempura to the soup, bento boxes have a special place in my heart. Yet, I feel like Nakagawa's bento boxes have sadly missed that mark. The protein (chicken teriyaki/katsu) tastes old and oddly mushy, and the portions are quite small, just leaving me wanting more. Don't get me wrong - the fish is still good. Solid place for seafood, paired with a lengthy wait. But Nakagawa just lost its touch with us, and driving that 30-35 min trek is not worth it for us anymore.
