Got rainbow roll to-go for my daughter. She likes the variety of fish offered in this roll, hence "rainbow". For $17 it was a bit steep but whatever the daughter wants, the daughter gets. She definitely earned that roll with a perfect church attendance. read more

Wow. Nearly $80 for old dry teriyaki from a place that has an OKAY health department rating. We're always looking for decent teriyaki because Issaquah doesn't have any, so when this place had such great reviews we made the 25 min drive. The food photos from the "influencers" are a lie. They honestly should be removed. The Katsu chicken was dry and for $17 you only get ONE cutlet, not two like the picture falsely lead you to believe. The beef was less than 2oz worth of meat and the spicy chicken is like eating tires. Honestly, a tire might have a better texture. We were looking for quick and relatively cheap to eat and we realized we haven't been to this spot. We ordered chicken fried rice, chicken and beef teriyaki, and gyoza. Everything was pretty decent. Not amazing, but not bad either. The teriyaki sauce seemed standard and the beef was over cooked. The fried rice didn't taste special either. I added some hot sauce to it, which did make it better. It's a good spot to eat with friends as the food portion has good serving side and the price is fair. I came here a few times and since then, the owner would recognize me and greet me so sweetly, which is when you know you're a regular. I normally get the standard Chicken teriyaki, but sometimes, I would explore other options like the chicken teriyaki and tempura of yakisoba or yaki udon. We ordered dinner for takeout last week as this place is one of the ones with "better" reviews than the others around it. Chicken Katsu, Yakisoba, and one of their combos. It was prepared quickly (within 15-20 mins) and the guy at the register was friendly. All of our food was hot when we returned home but it was just alright in quality and flavor. Portion sizes were decent. My dad had questioned what I ordered him because he couldn't tell if the combo was beef or pork. They douse their combo meat and yakisoba in sauce and the flavor isn't out of the ordinary. There was a decent mix of veggies, protein, and noodles in my dish but the protein was chopped small and didn't taste satisfying in the way I had hoped. Ordered a Hawaiian Roll since I love tuna and avocado. Very fresh with a pleasant taste of teriyaki on top of roll but it wasn't a heavy flavor. Overall very well made and delicious will become a regular spot for my sushi. I also order nigiri and sashimi so I could tell my raw tuna on top was very fresh and will order again!
