NO STARS! Who I assume Is the owner of the establishment was snarky and very unpleasant. This was mine and my boyfriends very first time eating at this establishment and it will surely be the last! If you have issues with customer service I suggest you don't work in customer service! As we are about to start dinner I hope that the food is at least delicious. Shake my HEAD! Zero stars!!

Ono Teriyaki is my new favorite teriyaki restaurant in the downtown Renton area. The portions are really big! My wife and I can share one plate, and we're both full. The prices are very reasonable for the portions, only about $8 for a huge pile of chicken and rice. The chicken has a really good freshly grilled flavor, and I love their teriyaki sauce! The interior is clean and there's plenty of seating if you want to dine in. It is hard to find, but it's worth the search.

Perfect place to hit up while your car is getting worked on next door at the Toyota dealership... which I still miss my old Celica.... Pretty standard teriyaki menu. Familiar "atmosphere" as the others; just a bit different decor. I like the dangling welcome piece below the menu and the menu greens, among other things. I just had a 10 pc Gyoza snack to-go. Nice lady. Oh, and the sunset seemed to emit a subtle homey feeling.

The dude is here.

I'm here right now. I have order d from here a few times. So far no mishaps. The teriyaki tests better than most places. I'd highly recommend.

Price Point - There are several meat options served here that are very expensive but we tried it all. My personal favorites were the Spicy Pork Cutlet, the Salmon and Rice Bowl, and the wagyu sirloin skewers. Being from Missouri I knew that the prices would be a bit more than what I was used to but it really wasn't that significant. For 4 people who ordered a little bit of everything, we spent 140$ That's three appetizers, 2 sides, and 5 main dishes. For special occasions, celebrations, corporate dinners, this place seems like a great option. Now, in regard to the portion sizes. Pretty simple explanation, they do feel a bit small. Lastly, do they have options for children? I would say no but that depends on what kind of food your kids eat Hahha. This is more of an adult restaurant not particular organized for kids meals. Overall, I definitely recommend everyone check this place out. The food is so fresh and flavorful. We lived the experience and would definitely come back if we find ourselves in town again.

Started off strong with the uni shot, which was really good, and the sashimi fresh, clean, and exactly what you want from a sushi spot. We also ordered the mushroom and pumpkin salad with spinach, which tasted great, but at $20, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The rolls, unfortunately, didn't live up to how they looked. Presentation was definitely there, but the flavor just didn't hit. On top of that, they were falling apart pretty easily when picked up with chopsticks, which made them a little frustrating to eat. Service was solid overall staff was attentive despite how busy it was but they did miss our hamachi kama, which was a bit of a letdown. A couple things to note: this place is cash only, and it gets very busy, so expect a bit of a wait. That said, the vibe is nice, and the design of the space is something I actually liked. Would I come back? Probably for sashimi and appetizers but I might skip the rolls next time.

We like to try places in the Renton area because it's the halfway point between our homes. This week we went to Mori Sushi in the Renton Landing. Immediately upon walking in I felt the interior to be very comfortable, welcoming and tasteful. Our server was terrific. Very helpful since my friend isn't so familiar with sushi. He ordered a specialty roll, a Hot Dream, which he really enjoyed. I was concerned that there would not be enough food for him but it was the perfect amount. I had the Chirashi bowl--high quality ingredients. We both agreed that this is a restaurant we would return to and that is my highest rating!

They are a japanese sushi place (sibling restaurant…read moreto Aji Sushi in Newcastle, from what I heard), with a couple korean dishes on the menu as well. Service was great at first, though they didnt check in if we wanted to order more (we had gotten a few small plates to start but when we wanted more we couldnt find anyone and no one checked in). But towards closing they were pretty pushy about us finishing up and leaving (and verbally told us so) which I'm not used to experiencing (we weren't the only ones that were there late and hadnt been there too long).. and I'm not usually at restaurants til close (this was just a long overdue catchup) so it was kind of irritating that they were so pushy about it. We had gotten off work late and made plans but couldn't find many places open late, so we had to make do with the times available (everything pretty much closed by 830 or 9p), so it was a really rushed dinner and felt like that when they rushed us midway to hurry up. Otherwise, other than some rolls seeming a tad expensive, they were pretty good. Some were better than others, we tried about four of them. The fave dish though was the ika geso (fried squid) appetizer, the sauce was bomb. Would come back.
