The chicken teriyaki was very tasty. The service was great. They charge a bag fee here, so bring your own bag.

Shrimp & pork teriyaki combo, comes with garden salad.

I've ordered from them a couple of times and they don't disappoint. Arrives hot and fresh every time, even though delivery has been ordered. Great portions - not too big or too small. Prices are fair.

Solid spot for teriyaki and other Japanese comfort foods! Gotta start off by saying the menu here is huge. I always have trouble coming to a teriyaki place like this because I want teriyaki but end up wanting to order a bunch of different things. I had the bento box and the chicken udon. Bento box was a bit pricy at $18 but did a great job at filling me up. It comes with a good amount of everything - chicken teriyaki, katsu, tempura, gyoza and salad. The katsu was my favorite when I had it fresh and crispy, but the katsu sauce provided could've been better. I wouldn't really recommend their udon. The broth was lacking some flavor and the veggies that comes with it felt out of place. Another thing I'll note is even though I ordered for dine-in, it was still served in a plastic box with plastic utensils. It's a minor detail but I was expecting actual silverware. The staff here is warm and welcoming and it always feels good to support small local businesses like this. If you're in the area and craving some teriyaki or katsu, this is a good pick.

I do not recommend getting the tofu yakisoba. Did not expect for it to look like that when I opened the box lol. It wasn't that good. Didn't get to take a picture of the Teriyaki Chicken, but it was good and I recommend getting that.

This is one of my favorite spots for teriyaki in the entire renton area! I live in the highlands and i have to skip all the restaurants up there to make it to this place. Its not too far, actually its in a perfect location! Plenty of parking and besides, the service is quick! There was one time when i bought a drink separate from my order and she didnt give me the right about of change, but i will let that slide and let her have that as tip LOL, Being a regular, you have to have your favorite. I love the spicy chicken here! Sometimes i order without onions but either way, the dish is delish!

Spicy chicken plate, which was already started.

Borderline 3.5-4 stars. Ordered the spicy chicken plate, and it was definitely spicy for a 3. You can order from spice level 1-5. Rice was just right and the greens were crisp. Miso dressing was good. Little thick for what I'm used to when I get salad at teriyaki places, but good nonetheless. Owner was friendly and took my order while doing his end of day routine. I'd come back again if I'm in the area and am in the mood for some teriyaki.

Food was okay but they sold me expired cherry coke.....if they let soft drinks expire imagine it what else they let expire. Definitely will be my last time coming here.

    Spicy teriyaki

One of my favorite teriyaki places in Seattle area. Been going here since my childhood. If you like spicy food, I loved the spicy chicken teriyaki. And they are not joking when you order it really spicy (5 star level)

We like to try places in the Renton area because it's the halfway point between our homes. This week we went to Mori Sushi in the Renton Landing. Immediately upon walking in I felt the interior to be very comfortable, welcoming and tasteful. Our server was terrific. Very helpful since my friend isn't so familiar with sushi. He ordered a specialty roll, a Hot Dream, which he really enjoyed. I was concerned that there would not be enough food for him but it was the perfect amount. I had the Chirashi bowl--high quality ingredients. We both agreed that this is a restaurant we would return to and that is my highest rating!

Service was great at first, though they didnt check in if we wanted to order more (we had gotten a few small plates to start but when we wanted more we couldnt find anyone and no one checked in). But towards closing they were pretty pushy about us finishing up and leaving (and verbally told us so) which I'm not used to experiencing (we weren't the only ones that were there late and hadnt been there too long).. and I'm not usually at restaurants til close (this was just a long overdue catchup) so it was kind of irritating that they were so pushy about it. We had gotten off work late and made plans but couldn't find many places open late, so we had to make do with the times available (everything pretty much closed by 830 or 9p), so it was a really rushed dinner and felt like that when they rushed us midway to hurry up. Otherwise, other than some rolls seeming a tad expensive, they were pretty good. Some were better than others, we tried about four of them. The fave dish though was the ika geso (fried squid) appetizer, the sauce was bomb. Would come back.

Price Point - There are several meat options served here that are very expensive but we tried it all. My personal favorites were the Spicy Pork Cutlet, the Salmon and Rice Bowl, and the wagyu sirloin skewers. Being from Missouri I knew that the prices would be a bit more than what I was used to but it really wasn't that significant. For 4 people who ordered a little bit of everything, we spent 140$ That's three appetizers, 2 sides, and 5 main dishes. For special occasions, celebrations, corporate dinners, this place seems like a great option. Now, in regard to the portion sizes. Pretty simple explanation, they do feel a bit small. Lastly, do they have options for children? I would say no but that depends on what kind of food your kids eat Hahha. This is more of an adult restaurant not particular organized for kids meals. Overall, I definitely recommend everyone check this place out. The food is so fresh and flavorful. We lived the experience and would definitely come back if we find ourselves in town again.

Besides, family was coming in at SeaTac and we recently moved back to the Renton/Kent/Tukwila area so with the use of GPS, they'd be able to find the restaurant. We met together at the same time. The restaurant has changed considerably. Previously the menu included Korean dishes, but with new management, Korean fare was removed from the menu, much to our surprise. The Kalbi/Bulgogi was excellent and we would order a Bento-style box meal which included the Korean specialties. Though somewhat disappointed, the new menu provided so many new sushi choices, we were distracted from the missing preparations. The Sushi/Sashimi platter was our first order, to give us more time to peruse the great looking menu. Our initial order arrived which appeared so enticing with the fresh (raw) portions of buttery salmon, tuna, Ahi, Nigiri and a California Roll. Excellent! Then came the Sweet Dreams & Sounder rolls and Ikura (2-pieces) and a Special Agent roll. Least I forget to mention Asahi bottled beer (regular & non-alcoholic) to round off the meal. Due to not having the Korean ingredients, only four stars this time. The ambiance of the restaurant seems to have changed over the years. There were perhaps 10-12 other diners whereas during our previous visits the restaurant would be crowded and bustling with a cacophony of voices discussing menu choices. It was 5:00PM on a Saturday evening and crowds were usually expected. Service was excellent, the waiter was patient and provided lots of information about the new ownership & menu. The sashimi was fresh & tasty and sushi rolls were expertly prepared. Sushi Today continues to be highly recommended if you're in the Renton area.

Service was solid overall staff was attentive despite how busy it was but they did miss our hamachi kama, which was a bit of a letdown. A couple things to note: this place is cash only, and it gets very busy, so expect a bit of a wait. That said, the vibe is nice, and the design of the space is something I actually liked. Seabass crudo --- for how little there was of the fish itself, there was a lot of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. After finishing the fish, I was hoping to have some bread to eat more of the oil.
