This is a must visit in the new Union Station. Yes, you could probably have drinks in any of the other restaurants in the building, but this is the one that is designed for social activities and for the view of that great restoration of the central hall. Prices are good, with a TON of Colorado beers on tap. Service, as many people have mentioned, is prompt and friendly regardless of how full the small slice of space seems to be. For less than $15, two drinks and a 45 minutes of good conversation is a great deal. I can't speak to food, other than the menu looked like typical bar food. Perhaps I'll come back for drinks sometime soon, but then again, this is not what the Terminal Bar is designed for. Go get a drink and enjoy the beautiful new Union Station. read more

We ate there late night after taking the light rail in from DIA. It is a pretty loud atmosphere like most bistros. We had drinks before the meal. My wife had one of there signature cocktails, which was done well. I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio. She ordered the smoked salmon sandwich. To my palate, the salmon was a little strong. I absolutely love this bar. It's location in the thick of Union Station makes it feel so central and provides ample people watching experience. The staff and drink selection are always on point. They are currently carrying a coconut ale from Bull and Bush Brewery that I can literally find NO WHERE ELSE on the planet. I even went to the brewery and they were completely out of the beer; apparently, their supply goes directly to Terminal. We take out of town guests here. We meet buddies in town. Fun spot to grab a drink! We stopped here on a Saturday night and as expected, it was bumping. After waiting 5 minutes to get a bartender's attention, we got our drinks (average of $9 for each) and went out into the general seating area to enjoy our drinks. I ordered a Moscow Mule, it was delicious and I could have had a few more if we didn't have plans for dinner. We had truffle fries and a few beers. The truffle fries were fantastic! They were very small so they were crisp, and delicious. They had a good amount of cheese on them. They came with a yummy garlic aioli. Our waiter was very attentive and recommended some great beers. It's a very cool location and I love the industrial old school look. The atmosphere in here is way cool and classy. I loved that it was darker - definitely makes the place feel intimate even though it's in the massive, spacious Union Station. The Terminal Bar is a "hot" bar now. As in hot girls, hot air from all the body heat, and hot air from the loud but ultimately meaningless conversations. Still, I have never had a Rob Roy before and this seemed like the place to order it. A big sign above the bar saying they make it helps. I liked it. I've been here a few times now, including New Year's celebration. I visited yesterday with a friend and due to the extremely attentive service received by the bar tender I decided to write a review. I don't give it a 5 starts because I haven't tried the food yet, but promise to update my review when I do. I love the ambiance and even though it can be a bit laud, it is a comfortable space to seat and relax with your friends. They have a good selection of beer, wine and cocktails at a reasonable price for the area. This place has a super cool atmosphere, is great for people watching, full bar with an impressive beer/tap selection, and the food is surprisingly really good. I say surprisingly since you don't really feel like it is technically a "restaurant". The crowds ebb and flow based on time of day and train traffic. I was here for late night drinks on Saturday and was pretty impressed. The service was top notch and prices were more fair than I expected (2 vodka sodas and 5 shots of Jameson was around $52). We sat out in the station, but there was never an empty glass left sitting on a table. I'd definitely be back. I love the dark, moodiness inside the bar at night. I'll be making that my next stop. Great bar with an awesome environment. Growing up I have had this huge interest in trains so it was really cool to hang out here at night and have some drinks with friends while playing shuffleboard. The cocktails all taste great - I didn't get a chance to try anything on tap though. Minus 2 stars because I'm currently disputing a charge with the bar via my credit card provider. We had a $70 tab and they're claiming I left a $78.50 tip on it. I am generous but not that generous. Nice try on trying to pull a slick one on me....I KEEP ALL MY RECEIPTS! My wife and I went to this bar this weekend. What a nice place! We had a seat at the bar and met an English fellow named Q, oddly enough, and I must say he made the experience. I asked how he got that name and he told us that his parents were big James Bond fans. Very funny... My wife had a martini - shaken, not stirred, of course, and I had a gin & tonic. Both were perfect. We spoke to a couple that had the burgers and they said they were fantastic. Maybe next time. Neat atmosphere in the train station. While the menu looks like bar fare, it's far from that. I had the tomato soup and roasted vegetable - so warm and delicious on a cold rainy day. You can sit inside the bar or in the train station out in the open. Either are cool in their own right. read more

On a Saturday evening during Covid 19 part 2, I walked into this establishment. I took a look at the menu and was intrigued by the bacon wrapped meatloaf. I decided to investigate further. I asked the dark haired bartender with French braids "how is the bacon wrapped meatloaf" as my mouth watered in anticipation. What happened next caught me off guard. To my dismay she responded with a simple "I'm vegan" as she sauntered away. I was appalled at her response and attitude and with her general lack of information on said bacon wrapped meatloaf. Needless to say, there is a whole in my belly where this meal should have been. Due to this experience I must give you one star my dear. I went in for lunch today and it was not worth the stop. We were able to find a table easily but the service was terrible. After waiting ten minutes to be helped a manager finally came over to bring us water and told us our server would be right with us. 5 minutes later the server is still not there but thankfully the manager came and took our order. The service was SLOW, to get drinks took forever. We ordered two pretzels with were completely over salted. We got the grilled cheese and tomato soup, both came out freezing. We also got the soup of the day, the butternut squash. The soup tasted great, but once again was freezing cold with no server in sight to heat it up. The soup needed some extra crunch, crackers, some kind of side. While the location is cool I would not recommend this place. read more

Food is good, They have you sit under a tent if you dine outside and it's like 100 degrees under there. They take you to your seat but don't take your order. You have to go up to the bar and order food and drink with your mask on. My friend and I ordered a very expensive blackberry daiquiri. It has way too much lime juice in it and was not sweet at all. I spoke to the girl at the bar who wasn't all that friendly to begin with when we were leaving to say that the daiquiri was not sweet enough. She said that's how they make them and they are not sweet. I said they are not making them right. There are a number of other places you can eat and drink outside at Union Station. I recommend trying another one since other than the fact I got a decent meal it was almost $40 with tip for a sandwich with sweet potato fries, 2 bottled waters that were not cold (they wouldn't provide free water) and the aforementioned lousy daiquiri. read more
