It was very easy scheduling TERMINIX for a free inspection on their website. But the part I found interesting was that the assigned inspector, Seena, called me the day before, introduced himself and ask what the problem was. He asked me to send him photos and called me back after seeing them explaining what's going on. This was really amazing and made me feel "I'm in good hands". The next day, he showed up at the promised time and did a very thorough inspection, including the attic. Then he explained what his findings were and what the best plan of action/options are. Given the trust I already had in him by this time, it was very easy to me accepting the ones he advised. I was told my appointment would be 8am-12pm the following day and that someone from my local branch will be reaching out with a more specific time. Following day comes and I never heard from anyone. I called around 9am to try and get a time and they told me someone will call in 45min. Fast forward to 10:45 and I call back and they tell me someone will be there before 12pm. 12:30 comes along and I didn't hear from anyone so I call back. They tell me they are also not able to get ahold of the technician and they can make a new appointment the following day which I declined. When asked if they can send a different technician the same day they said no, we are not able to make same day appointments. My big frustration here is the clear lack of communication. I basically wasted the first part of the day for nothing and I even cancelled another company for this one... lesson learned. read more

365+ not recommend. Have had termite coverage for 8 years with no problem. Currently have flea issue. Paid for initial treatment for fleas. 265.00. Was told no guarantee for they will come back and need monthly service. Not the cheaper version the 64.00 dollar a month version,, cause other doesnt cover fleas. They sprayed so sparingly need to call them out repeatedly every 2 weeks. Now they tell me it's probably because I have rodents. Which 365+ covers rats so they tell me. You know what it covered? It consists of them handing me 2 glue style rat traps. And on top of it they tell us their flea treatment doesn't kill the eggs. So why am I spending 64 dollars a month? I can get a heck of a lot of flea bombs and rat traps for that much money. Sad. Oh they asked an inspector to come out and assist us. They never entered the house, set no traps and just really wanted to upsell me another service of 2500 to 4300 place wire fencing. The price difference is the regular way vs the proper way. Absolutely awful service. Do not waste your time with this company. We had Craig Fields come out and inspect our house. I specifically asked if we could leave our food in the back house since we weren't getting that portion fumigated. He said yes so we made arrangements, rented a house (which cost us over $1,000), took days to prepare the rest of our house (bagging and moving things back and forth), took days off work to make sure we had time to move things necessary only to be told that they couldn't do it the day the fumigation was supposed to take place because the back house gas line was connected. This should've been something that was noticed and mentioned during the inspection. Spend the extra $1000 and go with another company. We made a huge mistake trusting that the inspection was thorough enough that we wouldn't run into any problems. Long story short, we've lost out on about $1,500 (renting a place and taking off work) only to not get our house fumigated. Now we have to wait to get our gas turned back on, and unpack things that took days to pack. The best thing they could offer is have Craig come help us bag things up if we decide to reschedule the fumigation for another day. Which again would cost another $1000+ to find another place. BOTTOM LINE: They may have a majority of good google reviews but TRUST THE BAD REVIEWS. Lesson learned. DO NOT make the same mistake we made read more

They shouldn't get one star, but you don't get the choice of no stars! I have 3 contracts with Terminix, for 6-7 years! The quarterly visit is for bugs! I had my last visit, I believe in June, I called them (for the first time in 7 years) to come back for ants in my house and a large wasp nest, and they did! I called again this week because my house is infested with ants, I found them crawling on me, and the wasp nest is back. They refused, citing ; they already came once and it's too close to my next quarterly visit! I asked them to come immediately and that I would be okay with it being my next quarterly visit, the answer: "NO" The Terminix It Guarantee means that if pests come back, so do we - to re-treat at no additional cost. No excuses, just a commitment to care for your home like it's our own with protection you can trust. This is their online guarantee! They are not honoring the promise and as many times as I pointed this out, I was met with scripted apologies! Terminix is the worst! Where's the customer service? Terminix doesn't care! My scheduled wood repair was on a day when it was raining. They were not happy when I had to insist I would not authorize payment for outside work during rain. They argued about it with me but I insisted it be rescheduled . The workers were very good but were told they had to complete it in one day so the last two hours were completed in the dark by flashlight. I asked for a supervisor to just come out to verify all work was done correctly since I was paying 4k for the work. Steve Mendoza was pleasant at first but after the work was done and they had payment he kept blowing my request off at least 3 times. He got pretty rude near the end. Somebody finally came out to verify the work was done. Last, terminix released my private information, name address and phone by texting my contract to someone in Texas and I got that person's personal information. When I asked how it was done and what they could do, they said it was no big deal. Supervisor Sonny said it would not bother him as his info is locked down. Good for him. I put freezes on all 3 credit reporting companies just to be safe. In the end the work was done satisfactorily but it was a really terrible customer service experience. Don't know which office, just called the 800 number. Nothing but a rip off! The initial cleaning and sanitizing was fine but everything afterwards is a nightmare. I was unaware I would be charged more for the exterminators. By the way, he missed the first appointment after we had rearranged our schedule to meet him. Then there was the $40 a month charge so they could come out every three months. However, I was assured that they would come out whenever we called. That's not true! We couldn't get anyone out for two and half weeks. Meanwhile the dead rats in our basement were covered with maggots and now we have a ton of flies in our house. Also they supposedly sprayed for the ants in our kitchen. A couple of days later we got more ants than before. read more

We contacted Terminix about an animal being in our crawl space/attic. We kept hearing loud noises above us for a few days. They came out the same day and did an inspection. They found a few holes where an animal (possibly a raccoon) might be entering. They came back a few days later to cover them up and replace all our old vents. Steve Young was our technician. He was friendly, polite and answered all our questions. Unfortunately, the raccoon was able to enter our crawl space again a few months later. We called them and they came back to fix it right away. We are very pleased with their work and would recommend them. read more

UPDATE Received a call this morning from Matt, branch manager. To my satisfaction they are reimbursing me for the termite repairs. And he is assisting me to address the fumigation company for the broken pipe. That's definitely an improvement in customer service. I leave it at 3 stars for now. Fyi - I decided to stay with current yearly guaranteed service. Even though it took a while they made it right on the contract. Will see what happens with the fumigation company they hired. Original post: Terrminix termite guaranteed is worthless. Have had 5 years. Found termite damage while painting. Terminix rep came out inspected and told me he will file repair claim but it will take 60-90 days, I said ok I will have my painter fix the damage and we scheduled tenting. Fast forward 3 mos. I texted Red to see how claim was coming and he says he never filed it cause I fixed it. Needless to say I was livid. Manager calls me and says I'm sh*t out of luck basically cause I fixed it they needed to do the work for it to be covered. To add salt to this open wound, the fumigation company broke a pipe to sprinkler system and water was squirting everywhere. Had to call an emergency plumber.$945.00 I've been trying to get someone to call me back since Dec . So I ask the manager at this time about that and he says nope it's the home owners responsibility and it's in the contract. Funny I can't find anywhere in fumigation contract that I waived their liability if they broke a pipe in the ground. Now I've gone on FB and am trying to speak to corporate. We had multiple issues with Terminix and have not received a returned call for any of these issues. We just spent $3,000 on heat treatment for termites and the sub-contractor Terminix used was terribly unprofessional, didn't let us know when the job was done, and didn't provide us with any after-instructions on what to do with the house other than to return and open the windows at 5pm. We weren't sure if we could turn on the air conditioning or what to cool down the house, and Terminix wasn't able to get in touch with the subcontractor to give us any info. They just informed us that the job was still open and they weren't answering. To make matters worse, we were told the house would be cool enough to sleep in and we could return to stay in the house around 7pm. We opened up all the windows at 5pm and by 11pm, our house was still 105 degrees, certainly not something I would be able to sleep in being 8 months pregnant or that I believe anyone else could sleep in for that matter. So we incurred additional expenses having to sleep at a hotel for another night. My husband contacted Terminix and was told multiple times that our situation was not acceptable and we would be contacted by a higher up to try to remedy the issue, but that was a week ago and no one has called. Also, my husband was told 3 different times that once the job was closed he could change the payment method to his credit card instead of mine. Once the job was closed, another employee told him that was impossible and there was no way to charge his card instead. All in all, this was a very disheartening and unprofessional experience, especially when we spent so much money thinking we were going with a reputable company. Extremely disappointing. read more

So we noticed termites swarming in the house. We decided to call Terminix, figured it's a big name company, we should get good customer service right? They come out do their inspection and they say we need to tent the house. Get it all set up and on the schedule. We make arrangements for my mother in law and my son to sleep somewhere else. moved food and medication out of the house, took the day off work just to get a phone call the day of with a bunch of excuses about why they couldn't come the scheduled day. Basically they dropped the ball and couldn't come until the following week. I couldn't believe how unprofessional and inconsiderate they were to the inconvenience their screw up they caused my family. The sales rep just disappeared. I requested they wave the $100 bill for spraying the exterior, for my inconvenience. That was ignored and I kept getting bills saying I would go to collections if I didn't pay. We used Terminix to tend our house and replace the wood that are damaged by termite 2 years ago. Last year during the yearly inspection by Terminix ( we paid $390 for this inspection) the inspector found that some wood in the garage that was damaged wasn't replaced. We call the guy that gave us the estimate ( his name is Steve Mendoza) and Steve look at our contract and said he marked that woods to be replace in the contract and we already paid for the replacement. Steve also said he would call the Terminix and some one will call us to determine when it will be done. Until now nobody call. Call Steve several times, keep getting answer somebody will call. Called the Terminix customer service several time , get the same answer , the manager will call. Nobody call. read more

I contracted with Terminix for Rat disposal $ 800. We caught A RAT. I contracted for pest control, I am now walking with a cane because there is something on my patio the bites, It seems to appeared more readily after its sprayed for pests. This is my second leg infection (after spraying) in 6 months. Now they want another $200 after I cancelled them, Terminix is a terrible company to deal with. Stay clear. read more
